501  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 10, 2024, 08:44:32 PM
Congrats, but why are you posting this 8 months after it? And title is quite misleading when it's craziest win of trustdice. Not craziest win of 2023 in crypto gambling.

And why not screenshot? Why would you take a physical black and white print from the screen and take a photo holding that? I can't figure out how is that better than taking a pic from the screen. I am not sure if this is supposed to be somekind of proof, but now it looks like some weird low effort scam.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 10, 2024, 08:18:30 PM

As you are gambling responsibly, also use the money won responsibly.
I won 328,000 from Sportybet. It was a running game that finished 3 days ago and I decided to use the money wisely. I had a small television in my living room so I bought a Smart TV for 307,000  I am so happy seeing this in my living room.
As you are gambling, make sure to use the money won to do something that you will be proud of and happy about. You can invest some in Bitcoin, buy properties, etc.
Do not use all the money back to gamble, that's not wise.
Just wanted to drop my achievement from gambling responsibly here. Below is the Image of the TV installed
-cut-
Tv is pretty modest investment and i for one haven't regretted that i bought one with 1 btc when btc was cheap, even though that btc would have gotten me a tv for $42k worth tvs right now. I imagine people some people are baffled how i don't see it as a poor investment, but sometimes you need to cash out profits. I have sold during the ath too, and that might as well been ath, even though it wasn't. No one could have known.

I had so many good times watching films and tv from that, that i wouldn't got if i used my old crap tv. I see a tv as a perfectly justifiable purchase. I know some people think that you would be better off by staking sats, but you got to live a little when you are winning. Otherwise, what is it even for? We could die next day for all we know, so it doesn't really mean anything to save just because of saving.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Games Revolutionize the Gaming Industry? on: January 09, 2024, 11:50:53 PM
Blockchain technology is poised to revolutionize the gaming world, offering the tantalizing prospect of owning in-game assets as real-world items, seamless trading, and even player involvement in game governance. Projects like XAI are leading this charge.

XAI aims to bridge the gap between traditional gaming and Web3 by creating a dedicated gaming-focused layer3 blockchain, simplifying blockchain integration for all gamers. They've also tackled issues like high gas fees and complex wallet interactions with innovative solutions.

XAI has already secured listings on major exchanges like Bitget and Binance, attracting a crypto gamer community to explore this blockchain in its early stages.

Ultimately, I would love to hear your thoughts on XAI and the potential future of blockchain gaming.
They might have an effect but they are not revolutionizing anything. When you think AAA+ games, it's most likely better and cheaper and most importantly less confusing, if the game items are controlled by centralized service. They aren't really that decentralizede anyway when you think about it. As when those games stop offering servers and die, so will the items.

I really can't see any upside of storing and trading your own gun skin to centralized service to trading them in decentralized marketplace. But for argument's sake, let's say that game company can ban your account and froze your assets. Then the question isn't really if you can trade your assets in third party market, but why we are supporting such a companies in the first place.

Also XAI isn't most likely going to be one of the success stories even though you are trying to make them relevant as only example for this thread.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next alt season? on: January 09, 2024, 10:56:17 PM
The majority of my portfolio is in altcoins and I am currently 29% in profit which I am happy with considering the Bitcoin halving is still 3 months away.

This is my first bull run over the next few years so I am just wondering when do altcoins usually start really pumping, is it long after the Bitcoin halving?
Not sure what you consider as altcoin season, or pumping but to me atlcoin season has started soon after altcoin marketcap broke the downtrend, and that was year ago. Because that's where bottom was and the rise started, it's a best place to invest. Now this is just bumpy road. And not all of them are going to pump. Lots of them are but changes are that you have few that doesn't.
But short answer is that they have been pumping radically more slightly after the halving. Some of them might get dumped by speculators as sell the news event.

And every prediction i say should be taken with a grain of salt as i don't know any better then some other random forum user.

505  Economy / Gambling / Re: UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out a $42,000,000 USDT Casino WIN!! on: January 08, 2024, 03:10:46 PM
The real question.

42 Million USDT, It's a big money. My only thinking, If these happening since it's from the progressive jackpot (It's the money paid by the provider and sent to the user at that casino) or if the fund for payment it's from the casino it self.

As a normal user, I believe the user are gonna need passed fully verification maybe Level 3 or maximum Level 4. Also, people are gonna to think do the casino have a bankroll to pay that amount + It's actually have some transaction proof the casino pay these and user make some withdraw.

That's was most question and mystery from other user, while we are get these from online gambling.
At least for some lottery wins it can take ages to get absolutely double check verified to get their millions out. And this is something so unusual, that i am thinking they rather offer banking cashout, because messing up 42 million transaction could make someone sweat. Although, people who play with 50 dollar bets are most likely rich already. But at least they would talk with the winner what they need. And i am certain that they will need to report some officials for this.

Before hearing any interview with this winner, i wasn't even at all certain if i even believe they are real. But after thinking it for a while, slots get audited all the time and this will get double checked by some people, so i believe that there's a slot machine that gave this amount for someone. And casino would lose way more credibility if they got caught of spreading a lie. So i don't see why this wasn't true. people lost a lot too and that's for some reason easier to believe. Some people must win a lot too, that's just probabilistic fact.

506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: January 08, 2024, 02:52:11 PM
Haley has now solidified her position as the no.2 in Republican nomination race. But what will actually happen in the unlikely scenario of Trump banned from participating in the POTUS election of 2024? Is he going to put his weight behind Haley? That is very unlikely as on previous occasions he has spoken against her. But with DeSantis and Ramaswamy trailing in the polls, Haley is the second-most probable candidate for GOP nomination, according to sportsbooks such as Stake. And many of the polls have shown Haley with a bigger lead against Biden, when compared to Trump.
Of course not. He doesn't care about republican party or their values, he never has. It's all about attention and praise from his followers to himself. That's what rich people want. They have material stuff already, so they want power and be the focus of attention. For now they are just his ticket in. I frankly think that republicans would have better changes without trump. If trump voters would vote anyone but trump. Because now all people who loath trump will vote for Biden just to make sure trump won't get in. If trump wouldn't be running, votes could scatter more around. Some democrats might even go for republicans, if they found their new road. Desantis doesn't have what it takes, but someone else could.

Right now Trump seems to be favorite when it comes to odds, which as an european seems weird, given that he is probably heading to jail.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 08, 2024, 02:38:10 PM
I cannot remember if someone became a millionaire by doing an airdrop or bounty. Recently some people have made huge sums of money from airdrop like arbitrum and optimism but bounty work is not that profitable. I have seen people earn a maximum of a few thousand dollars from doing an altcoin campaign which was in the last bull run. This season, there aren't too many good projects in the altcoin bounty section that can give you even a few hundred dollars. The new project is not that interested in bitcointalk forum any more.
I can't remember if there were any one wallet millionaires with any airdrop, but many people got them with several wallets, and several different airdrops to different wallets. So i am certain there are some airdrop hunters who got in just by doing one with several wallets. I mean if there wouldn't be insiders who knew the requirements on how to get maximum amount and didn't use hundreds of wallets for themselves i would be very surprised.

And even if you didn't have insider access, there has been so many of them and selling them at the right time would have been worth a lot. Just holding an bored ape would have got you a lot of airdrops, and some people were holding several.

508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: January 07, 2024, 11:44:40 PM
Theoretically speaking if you could predict the algorithm in an online casino wouldn't you be able to predict the game and win a lot let's just say you had access to the algorithm and you were able to replicate it you would practically be able to win all the games
Algorithms for them are too random for anyone to crack. At least that's what i have been told. However, there was a case in Finland where man found a way to cheat with physical slot games, and no one seems to know how he did it.  Article is only in finnish so maybe you have automatic translation:
https://www.mtvuutiset.fi/artikkeli/mies-keksi-keinon-huijata-veikkauksen-pelikoneita-pumppasi-kasinolta-33-000-euroa-konsti-on-yha-mysteeri-kaikille/8638254#gs.3adxiw

Personally i feel that if someone actually managed to crack the code, they should get to keep the winnings, as it's the slot provider's job to make algorithm less predictable. But then again i don't know if he used some electronic devices to disturb the machines. Article says that he just recorded the games with his phone before he started winning, and that police knows cases where criminal groups have cracked pseudorandom number generator algorithms before.

So i guess at least in the past there has been a change for that.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 07, 2024, 11:33:46 PM
Besides arts and gaming usage, I don't see too much utility for NFTs. Actually, even for arts it's worthless in my opinion. The only real usage for NFTs would be inside gaming industry. The concept of its implementation really made sense for me and I thought it was a great idea in theory, but in practice it didn't work as expected.
NO,That's not really true because i found something that they can bring real world item with NFT.
Check this out. https://pudgypenguins.com/
this is a toy for children, when you buy a toy you will get a pair of ntf.
there is a QR code on the toy which connect to NFT in pudgyworld
I might be missing out the point here. It's a physical toy. It doesn't have any need for nft. I mean what would i even with do with the NFT token in here? If i trade it, it's still connected to my physical toy. Why would anyone want it or why it would have any value without the physical object? Is it supposed to be just a proof of authenticity? I think it's an overkill in every way. And are we supposed to trade these toys by mail and just trust the buyer or seller? And if the private key gets lost, i am guessing that the physical toy wouldn't have any value.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 07, 2024, 11:17:41 PM
Imagine that there is such a rehabilitation clinic for people who are addicted to gambling. Now imagine what they treat there without the use of pharmacology.
The main doctors there are gambling specialists, whose task is to convince you that you do not need to gamble. Your task, for example, is to prove that the patient most likely has a disordered game. In order to have long-term income, you need to have a gaming system. And not just a system, but a fairly innovative system of forecasting and risk management. Most likely the patient does not have it and never had it; otherwise he would have been successful and would not have ended up in rehab.
It is also necessary to find something for the patient to do instead of playing, so that he can occupy himself.
Now imagine that this gambling expert is you. What arguments will you give? What will you tell the patient about?
Please note that the patient will resist to the last. He will give counterarguments. For example, that he will get rich in the future, he’s just not lucky yet.
What other arguments do you think the patient will give? How do you respond to these arguments of his?
It doesn't work like that. I could give all the arguments in the world, but if i am not a close friend or relative in their life that they care for, they wouldn't listen. Not even if i would win every argument. People don't deal well with logic and even in here, if i try to argue that martingale doesn't mathematically work, people think it does in short term because they had luck with it. If i mention that it's only because they are risking more money, it doesn't even seem to register with them. So reasoning isn't the way out of addiciton, want and need comes from the addict himself.

If i would be a close group of friends for example, we could do an intervention, telling that we are worried and tell the addict how their actions affect on us. But that's the only thing we can do. If someone want's to gamble no matter what there's no stopping them. Only they can take the first step.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 07, 2024, 11:09:02 PM
This is a misconseption by people who don't understand how blockchains work in the first place.

Native tokens, or coins as a payment are inseparable part of decentralized blockchain tech. Incentives you get for protecting (mining or staking) the blockchain have to be worth something in order to motivate people to keep the chain secure. Otherwise it would need a whole new mechanism and i for one don't have a clue what kind of system that would be. Instances that claim they are only interested them as innovations, not payment methods either don't know what they are talking about, or want to sell us snake oil version of "cryptocurrencies" that are highly centralized spying network, that is operated by the authorities.
Ok, maybe I was too moralistic about “corruption and capital outflow”. Let me put it simply, we are talking about total control of the finances of citizens (of any country). Native tokens, consensuses, decentralization and other global principles of blockchain in this aspect, IMHO, are not correct to indicate. In the context of the thread, we are talking about USDT - a cryptocurrency pegged with an exchange rate to USD, the issuer of which is Tether. The National Bank and the Chinese authorities cannot regulate it, except to prohibit cross-border payments and, in general, its turnover in China, equating them to transactions with foreign currency. Therefore, comrade worker, keep the digital yuan and the catwife.
China might not be able to regulate it in a way they would have authority to block usdt, and national banks don't control usdt because it has nothing to do with them, but they can go with similar way as FATF compliant financial firms around the world, and require the proof of origin of the money when it's changed to yuan. And they can freeze an accounts if source for money is too opaque. Also tether can freeze tokens if they are obligated to by officials.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap reaping people off on: January 07, 2024, 10:58:20 PM
I have withdrawn and trade ETH from MEXC multiple times already and I am never charged more than $3 but when I swap ETH ERC 20 on Uniswap the gas fee is almost always $10 and few times over $10, why is it like this? Are DEXs suppose to be more costly normal centralized exchanges?
Well using erc20 contracts is expensive, and this is nothing. Just few years ago swapping fees in uniswap went to $50+ . If current one is too expensive, you should use L2 versions in uniswap, like polygon, arbitrum, and optimism. That's why they were developed in the first place. Until ethereum scales, if you are not swimming in money you should look for alternatives to use for bad days.

And yes, DEXes definitely are more expensive then cexes. There's a literal price to pay if you want to use decentralized services.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 06, 2024, 09:50:10 PM
But according to rumors, some of the major investors - the wallets participating in the Etherium ICO - are affiliated with the Chinese government.
Ethereum ICO was a long time ago. During that time governments had no idea how to regulate, or even if they needed to regulate crypto. But you shouldn't use rumors as a source anyway.

China is not fighting cryptocurrencies as innovations, but as means of payment. In this way they are trying to fight corruption and the outflow of capital abroad. Other governments do the same, but in a slightly different form (SEC, EU Commission).
This is a misconseption by people who don't understand how blockchains work in the first place.

514  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good thing about your government? on: January 06, 2024, 09:38:12 PM
Even though current one is trying to mess things up, they can't mess up everything during their time because of our consitution.

But good things would be, free healthcare, minimum wage, worker's rights, free education and our social security is pretty extensive. Those could be better but they makes cities more safe and create stability.

Freedom of the press has also been pretty good compared to other countries. Our unitary parliamentary republic system is something i am fond of and while we do have our problems and some problematic leaders, we have good basis for working things out. And it's not like countries work without a hitch, as people who build it are never perfect.

I guess i could list lots of specific things i was proud that our last government did, and some past govenrments did, but some of them can be undo by our current govenrment which i am not that proud of.
So i guess, if i would have to name one good thing, it would be that we are unitary parliamentary republic. That's pretty good foundation to build on.

Almost 80% of Royal Shiba is staked or locked. Theres no way down for Royal Shiba only up 💪
Well that's not true now is it. It can go only up if the marketcap is zero cents, now i has marketcap of $1.46M so i can see it can drop to zero. Then you can say it has only one way to go. But now i predict it will eventually if not soon fall that 100% like it should. You can find 100+ shiba cryptoassets from coinmarketcap. God knows how many there are if we look at dextools. Imagine people falling this all over just because it has shiba in the name. But it's nothing new. Name based hype has existed since altcoins started.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 06, 2024, 09:13:27 PM
I just discovered a friend's personality, who in real life is very thrift and very conservative but once he played online in casinos he became very reckless and loved to play the risks because for him when it comes to gambling if you cannot take a risk you don't have a chance to win big, that's a big contrast from his real personality for him he has alter ego when it comes to gambling, so his outlook and decision is very much different when playing.

How about you Are you gambling in a way that is very different from your true personality,
-cut-
Alter ego is part of your ego that turns on and off in certain situations, it's sort of part time protection for something you consider you real persona.
It's part of your true personality, even if you think it's not though it seems like other side of you as you don't use it as a defence mechanism all the time. We also have hard time accepting ourselves with all our different sides, so we put our blame to alter ego when we do something that we ideally don't want do, or that's far from our every day behavior. But it's always our real personalities doing the stuff.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of privacy coins and tokens? on: January 06, 2024, 02:47:10 PM
Privacy will always exist, but it will be increasingly difficult to have all of it. Coins for this purpose will certainly be pursued.

There is a token focused on this called SECRET (SCRT) and it is on Binance.

I've never used it and I don't know the project, so everyone should do their own studies
There are differences with total privacy, confidential transactions and selective privacy, so some privacy coins have a change to prevail. Not all privacy coins out there are for escaping regulations, privacy has many use cases, and technically you could have build in KYC while having privacy. Someone just needs to build it right.

SCRT is a bad example of privacy coins that are not delisted, as it could be in the future. It's not even a protocol but a framework, it's just a sidechain of cosmos instead of L1 and build for unregulated crypto space. It's not revolutionary by any means, and doesn't have anything meaningful to offer. But obviously it will rise in the charts as people don't understand the lack of real world purpose for it.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $Brett be the next $PEPE? this may be an opportunity on: January 05, 2024, 10:13:38 PM
$brett so special. I think $brett becoming the mascot on solana.
Doesn't sound like special if people only want it to be next $pepe. Why don't these coins want to be first $brett for example. That other coins would like to be next Brett?
It's because people don't really believe in tokens like brett, they just want to hype them up, because they don't have any fundamentals people would need, they just compare them with other meme tokens.

This for example is trying to be hyped just because it's on solana. It's the only reason people are talking about it now
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO on: January 05, 2024, 07:28:37 PM
I think the pump is enough now , after few weeks of continues increase last december now it shows red marking in market

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solana/

and I think this will be going down to what is the regular price before the increase last year?

so If you are planning to buy more then better to consider sooner when the value drops good for Buy low Sell high strategy .
We are in the altcoin season. I usually don't make strict predictions as anything can happen, but as a someone who has been in this scene for a long time, something really bad should happen at this point in order to sol go back to $20, which i am assuming you mean by last year's regular price. Also what do you mean sooner? Sooner then it hits 20? That's literally buying high according to your prediction.

Whole market is just reacting to BTC EFT rejection. It's normal and we'll get over it after a whlle.
520  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: January 05, 2024, 12:24:49 PM
Too bad they haven't dropped more info on that shfl token, snapshot is most likely at February 1st like thei going live announcement tweet and i am not at all certain what predictions i should have for this token. So far they are high hopes because of fundamentals they have posted on twitter, but so much have been left unsaid that might affect the value a lot. I shouldn't complain as i don't gamble a lot at the moment as there are too much bills to pay, but with the right incentive i might risk it and purely grind my account up. I know that i am sounding a little self-entitled asking more when i am about to get something for free, but more info before the snapshot would be great.

All we need to do is wait, I'm sure the shuffle team has a good strategy and their casino will also continue to develop over time. Of course, as a shuffle player, I also hope that I can get SHFL for free and that will make us (shuffle players) happy. Lol  Cheesy

Maybe what we need to do is increase the wager and VIP level so that when SHFL is launched we can get a lot of shares from the airdrop given to the players. But don't be greedy because chasing the VIP level often requires a lot of money, let's play and get good wins and when the time comes we will get additional bonuses from SHFL tokens. Keep winning bro
I will definitely get greedy, and use more money if i sense it's going to be worth it. Gambling for the sake of gambling is whole other thing and nice idea, but my post wasn't really about that.

If we talk purely about gambling in shuffle, i have minor issues with it. RTP is still pretty low in slots, and there aren't that many slots. I know this is new casino an everything and they they will most likely get better. Choices and live stats with sports betting probably get better later too and i would totally love if they reward with 3x higher progress rate with the bets that are settled on the sports book vs casino that would be at normall 1x rate like they do in stake. That would help focus on playing sports instead of grinding house games for higher rank.

Live casino games i haven't yet tried but Original house games are working like a charm now with every device i got.
