The debit card is delayed because the local Walgreens ran out of the prepaid Visa cards. Josh had to send Amber to the next town over to get some more. You can buy them on PayBase when Amber gets back from the Walgreens.
1762  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 01, 2015, 06:11:48 PM
For those about compairing Bitmaintech to spondoolies. This is my DOA unit and not only does bitmain refuse to accept a return or refund me, but they continue to say it was something I did with my power. Mind you smoke was pouring out of this unit, and would have started a fire, but luckily I as in the room at the time it started.  I had 2 DOA units, and I tried to return both within DAYS. Here is one for your collection. The 2nd DOA miner just made a spark when plugged in, nothing else.

If smoke was "pouring" out of the unit why is there no evidence of fire or smoke in this photo? Last week my PSU did just that. It had an electrical fire and I smelled smoke. When I turned it off and took off the plug there was clear evidence of fire and smoke. I see none in this photo.

My story I am already losing a ton of money, I got 50% DOA units and they won't accept a return. Only to put bandaids on the units and ship them back to me. Mind you they had smoke pouring out of them and made my house smell like burnt electronics. That will make you think twice.

Im just wondering with these all new miners coming out, is there any money to be made via mining anymore?

The photo you posted just showed a cap that could have been pried up off the board. I saw no evidence of electrical fire. You are so rabid about thia I am starting to doubt your story. Yes, I did believe you at first. Some proof needs to be given of your purchase, return, etc. if you want any credibility in this forum.

It's so funny because two weeks ago Coin Swap was unknown and shit according to Homero, and now it is the best and greatest, most super duper exchange to be ever grace the planet Earth and the Universe for that matter. More crap to keep the morons happy (or is it befuddled?).  Huh
1765  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 01, 2015, 04:57:18 PM
Why do I need to buy a coke or pepsi with my xpy? Why not use my credit card that gives me 3% cashback?

Because that's the neat part. Doh!

How did someone buy with PayPal. PayPal was only accepted for hardware purchases back in the beginning. LTC Gear website only accepts bitcoin, litecoin, etc. PayPal logo is a remnant of days past.
I don't think that's true. I read from several people who paid with paypal for shares a couple of weeks ago (for example, one
guy in this thread, just check 20-30 30-80 pages before. I don't have the time right now..). Chris enabled paypal upon request for
individual sales. He made some explanations on ltctalk, the reason why he had to enable it manually was that there was a strict
limit on how much $'s he can accept each month.

I emailed him and asked for PayPal and he never responded. That's just my experience though.

Hmm

https://paybase.com/

Logged in as pullen2000@hotmail.com. How strange.

I´ve never had a hotmail account in my whole fucking life.

Unfortunately the guy´s balance is 0.00 PYC so no windfall.

Yea, it sucks. I got logged in as someone else also and zero balance.

Chris sure seems to be making attempts and putting in work to get ltcgear back to its former glory. At first I thought he was just going to scam us but not I am not so sure. He might have actually suffered from a hack. I mean why go through all this trouble redoing the website putting up support forms etc if your going to just scam people (like PBmining said Ill "try" my best with no results thusfar compared to Chris)

He's been putting in a decent amount of work.  No scammer would even waste the time with it.

I agree but many people who bought shares with Paypal are likely contemplating filing charge backs in the next week or two if nothing changes with the payments (regardless of the final outcome of LTCgear).

It would be interesting to know how many people in total purchased via PayPal.

When did this happen?

PayCoin launches with more merchant acceptance than any other cryptocurrency in history.

I was working overnight...I get paid to sleep. So I missed Paybase and I'm on my phone right now. Can somebody explain what's going on?

Nothings going on - Paybase is delayed.....
So the last 30 page of prophecy has come true yet again. What is the reason? Did I see the Bitcoin blockchain is broken? :grinning:

Yeah someone dropped the blockchain on the kitchen floor - shattered the bugger to pieces.....

GAW f's up everything they touch. Smiley
1772  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 30, 2014, 06:38:50 AM

From HashTalk.

Question: Why tweet it? It is just a mirage. Nobody can use the site. Sad Any number can be put on a non-functional site.

Answer: Maybe people will see the price, and then see that it is listed as much cheaper on all the working exchanges, and then maybe they will decide to buy up on the working exchanges in order to sell on paybase when its operational. All the buying on working exchanges will drive the price up, until it is the same as paybase, which can then open at the right price
1773  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 30, 2014, 06:11:15 AM
Just wondering if anyone actually knows anybody that plans to use paybase for anything, outside of the obvious flock on HT? I sure don't. So to me it just seems like a pretty small very selective audience. So how can a coin or concept succeed with such a small base of users. And many of which I'm sure just want to sell their PYC. Can't see it getting very far.

I plan on using it for absolutely nothing, as most of the World will do.

Do you have breakout boards for HP DL580 1300W server supply. I would want to buy one board with 4 cables shipped to Thailand. The lowest cost Air Mail service would be fine. Registered can be added if not too expensive. I hope to hear back from you soon.
1775  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FOR SALE - D750 750W Server PSU Breakout Boards on: December 29, 2014, 08:20:50 PM
International shipping prices depend on whether you want just the board and cables, or a full kit including a PSU. Full kits ship up to three in one flat-rate box for $65; non-kit orders will have to be bid individually.

Full kits are $55; interface boards are $28 apiece ($26 for more than 5) and our 18" cables are still $3.50 apiece while 36" cables are $4.50

I want the full kit but the shipping is too expensive for my budget. What would total price be fore one breakout board and a set of four cables with lowest cost option shipping to Thailand? 18 inches is sufficient. I am in Thailand.

Tested the PSU - it's an OCZ 850W Gold & I'm using 4 x pcie connectors. It is now running 2 x OC'd S3's without a hitch........

Watch the heat of those cables and connectors. With overclocking and only using two cables per miner, the cables will most likely overheat and the plugs will melt.

Hello Bitmain: - Do I get any prizes for having the first dud unit?:

Only one board hashing - the one that is showing the temp, nothing from the other board that shows zero. I've checked all connections, factory reset, reboots, all the usual stuff - no joy...... Angry

EDIT: It did work for the first 10 minutes though....... Tongue

It could be an issue of one hashing board not receiving enough power. Are you using split or single rails design PSU? Is it capable of providing the power the S5 demands for hashing at 1+ TH/s speeds? If split rail, some rails are stronger than other. Did you try swapping PCI-E cables to the other sides?

I will buy XPY all day long for $20 each. In return the buyer must purchase BTC from me for $1,000 each. One XPY  sold requires one BTC purchased. I think this is a great deal. Works out well for both parties. Thanks for the idea Josh.

Haven't people figured out that using PaySave does not mean you are shopping from Amazon, Target, WalMart, etc. You may be browsing that retailers website but you buy from PaySave and they can source the item from any retailer or distributor they want. You are not buying from Amazon, Target, WalMart, etc. as they claim.
1780  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: December 29, 2014, 06:50:38 PM
I have about 25 miners, a mix of S3's and S3+. I have about 4 of them totally down right now. The warranty is not that long either, so if you are thinking of getting S3 or S3+ and not working many hours to keep them up and running, you better think again. I regret buying the S3+ now, I got about 25% DOA rate. It's next to no quality control, so I don't think the S5 is going to be any different. Very sloppy workmanship, shorts, faulty firmware, bad solder joints. Much to look forward to...

I feel lucky now. Got only two S3+ and both working as advertised. Sorry to hear about your high DOA rate. Bitmain service is very poor.
