1221  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trying to Import my Armory Root Key into Electrum on: July 24, 2015, 02:02:34 AM
You should have an option somewhere to export the private key. I don't use Armory so not sure how to do it.
1222  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trying to Import my Armory Root Key into Electrum on: July 23, 2015, 05:36:02 PM
If Armory printed the private key for the address you can use Blockchain.info to sweep it into one of their wallets and then send it back to Coinbase or another wallet.
1223  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet not synching with android phone on: July 23, 2015, 02:51:57 AM
Does it all the time. The app is very finicky and a POS. Try it and just let the phone sit for a few hours and see if it can sync up to the blockchain. Depending on your internet provider the port used might also be blocked.
1224  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Hardware Wallet support for Windows in Electrum? on: July 19, 2015, 12:41:45 PM
I was wondering if there is/will be a Windows binary of Electrum that supports the Trezor and HW.1 hardware wallets? I have a HW.1 dongle now and from my reading of the Electrum forum, in order to use it with Electrum I would need to compile from scratch with the added libraries?

I'm not a programmer so compiling Electrum from scratch is not an option. I'd dearly LOVE to be able to use my new HW.1 under Windows 7.

If I try to run Electrum and build a hardware wallet Electrum just crashes.

Please advise.

I'm currently using Electrum 2.3.2

Use Electrum 2.0. It works fine with Trezor and does not crash. I stopped upgrading due to many problems and rezor not working after upgrades.
1225  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cant send money!! Please help!! on: July 14, 2015, 12:24:33 AM
Why would you deposit 3 BTC to this new wallet before you knew it was working as you intended?
1226  Other / MultiBit / Re: Payment doesnt get verified ,what can i do ? on: July 09, 2015, 04:30:29 AM
The mining fees you paid are too low. Don't worry. The transactions will eventually get included into a block and confirmed. It might take a while though. I have had transactions take up to 65 blocks for the first confirmation (get mined into a block). To prevent this from happening in the future never pay less than .0001 BTC for the mining fee.

Hello my transactions are not getting verified for like 9 hours , what can i do ? Whats the problem , im new user of bitcoin and dont know how to solve the problem. And why the first blockchain shows that i have sent like 33$ but i did send 10 $. Thanks to anyone who can help me

1227  Other / MultiBit / Re: In multibit..where can I see what my public key is? on: July 03, 2015, 04:00:50 PM
And my private for that matter...

..

Under request payment... It shows me one: "This is one of your addresses". Where are there other addresses?

Multibit won't show you because the devs believe users are stupid and will be confused. If you want to see lyour addresses and balances use Electrum.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next level Bitcoin stress test -- June 29-30 13:00 GMT 2015 on: July 01, 2015, 01:06:12 AM
My own transaction to send money to someone is stuck thanks to your stress test. Over eight hours waiting now and my tx fee higher than your 10,000 satoshis. How long will this take until this ridiculous test concludes? All my btc is stuck in a change address in this transaction.

Sold my LTC Gear account this evening. Will stop watching this thread. Am tired of this drama. Good luck to you all who have the fortitude to stick with this mess.  Lips sealed

1231  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.3.3 For Download on All Platforms (Except Windows) on: June 29, 2015, 04:47:04 PM
I can see 2.3.3 listed as the latest version but the links for windows downloads are still 2.3.2.  Did I miss something somewhere and is there a delay for latest release to windows?  The 2.3.2 version only works about 25% of the time I open it.  It constantly opens up with the wrong balance and also has issues sorting out the tip amount.  Half the time it won't autofill the tip amount and it won't even let me put anything in there and then gives me a warning about not including a tip... even though it won't let me manually put one in.

What's the deal with electrum?  Constant updates required and then it doesn't even hardly work most of the time.  It's worse than the dreaded itunes updates.  At least with that the software still played music.  With electrum it's a crap shoot to see if I'll even be able to send/receive bitcoin.

I stopped updating after version 2.0. I use it with my Trezor and updates after that the Trezor simply did not work correctly. I also lost all my descriptions from Trezor transactions. I went back to 2.0 and do not update again. If you find a version you are happy with and it does what you want, as long as there are no security concerns and with Trezor I have none, I see no reason to keep updating because a new version was released by the devs.

another follow up

10,650 shares this week yielded 192 LTC which were sold for a hair over $600 by the time the btc reached my coinbase account.

so - as of now I'm ahead of the game after 3 weeks versus my btc payment to get re-activated.

Smiley

Bullshit you newbie shill account.

So we get a top-noch 50mh/s + ASIC board worth 1500 Dollars [/s]for 4000 shares.

Uh, lucky i not sold my account for a lousy 0.38BTC

New prize: 3.80BTC  Smiley

No you get the right to pay for an outdated, useless piece of shit board. Once you pay the shipping he will never send it or send you something so obsolete it is no longer profitable to mine with it.

Nope, it will be carry the latest tech possible with free shipping.

With the LTC halving he have to come up with something BIG, I have full faith in beekeeper.

Jeez. What have you been smoking?

each Unit "should" be 400mh not 40 hes "converting" 4000 shares Per unit so that translates to 400mh not 40 .

I agree with everyone saying there is no reason to trust Cris or send him another penny for shipping or anything else.

IF i would get paid for the last 7 months id happily remain a customer of his and even pay the outragious Fee but i do NOT expect this to happen.

The conversion deal also really fucks over people with Dual mods whats that about ? *give me my F****** Dash u **** ************.

not only Dual mod Conversion is a Joke, Gen2 Pre-Shares Conversion Rate is also really ugly...

And this is further evidence that Gen 2 never existed. If Gen 2 was online and mining he would not be taking them away to give you some bullshit hardware that, if it actually exists, is no longer profitable to mine. Gen 2 was just a way, unfortunately, to suck more money out of all of us fucking suckers.

What are you people talking about? Characteristics of what? Miners? What miners?

So I'll summarize the whole important thing for you. Not clear what miners yet but Chris offered everyone an "exit" strategy for those who dont want to pay the nonsense maintenance fee to reactivate weekly payout anymore. This "exit" strategy converts your shares as well as the 2nd gen to an ASIC boards , which has no clarification yet on what kind of miner is it . Also that it is not even clear yet about the shipping fee or the other stuff and it will be all revealed on the Q&A that has been promised 3 weeks ago( you can expect it to be much longer )

Some people made a guess on what type of miner it will be so here it is( post above yours but requote it and deleted some words on it ). Highly unlikely that it will be Vipers but Chris mentioned a few times in the past that he used his own chips and make his own boards so we can expect something similar or it could be totally different.

This is pretty much grey area because people are left without any explanation nor clues on what is going on. I suspect that It will be weeks before the Q&A and it will be months later before the shipping ( if he really decided to ship them off , I doubt that this is another stalling strategy from Chris )

47 pre-gen 2 units converted to 1 ASIC unit and there are 23 2nd Gen shares left.

well we know at least one thing: each 10 shares are the equivalent of 30 Radeon 290 Lyra2RE .

So his 1 unit ASIC must be 47/30 = 1.5 x 30 = 45 MHs = one 50 MHs unit from Alpha Tenchology Viper (Alpha-t.net):

https://alpha-t.net/product/scrypt-asic-miner/

The 50 MHs unit is underperforming according to tests and is running at 45 MHs

Thx for you summary but I ask the same question again, WHAT MINERS? Nobody has ever seen any miner designed by Chris, no blockchain proof of mining, no hash fluctuations when he promised to switch his "farm" off. All in all, not a single credible piece of evidence about mining. So, discussing about characteristics and delivery of non-existing mining is wasting of your time and energy. That man has broken every promise he has ever given to us and you discuss about him shipping ASIC boards to you?Huh WTF.

Exactly, well put. Discussing anything about what sociopath scammer "Chris," the Shitkeeper, will do is utterly nonsense. People should be discussing if there is any possible way to get his ass thrown in jail.

Fantasy outdated, useless hardware sociopath Chris is going to send them. He deducted everyone's account for hardware that you will have to pay shipping for and then never get.

Everyone should wait until balances have cleared regardless of which option they choose.  No reason to convert yet, or pay the fee. Just wait for more information to make an educated decision.

I don't think it is a grab to collect "shipping fees".

There will never be any "cleared" balances. After six months of lies and broken promises you do not understand that. Everything since December has only, and will remain so, a money grab. WTF would he pay anyone anything. There are no Gen 2 units and he is trying to make everyone take delivery of his outdated, useless hardware that would lose you more money if you attempted to mine with it.
