Can someone from the TREZOR team please let us know what to expect with regards to mytrezor.com and the acquisition of Bits Of Proof by Digital Asset Holdings.

http://www.coindesk.com/blythe-masters-blockchain-startups-hyperledger-bits-of-proof/

Yes. I would also like to know how much data Bits_of_Proof has about trezor users' habits that have connected to mytrezor.com that will become the property of Digital Assets Holdings?

Does Bits-of_Proof have any of the following:

- data about IP addresses used by mytrezor.com users connecting to mytrezor.com
- data about bitcoin public addresses used by mytrezor.com users
- data about timing of bitcoin transactions by mytrezor.com users
- data about sizes of bitcoin transactions by mytrezor.com users
??

Appreciate your candid and timely reply in ensuring faith with the open source community of trezor users and contributors.

From what I understand Bits of Proof only supplied backend code to the Trezor team that was incorporated into the website. As far as I know Bits of Proof does not, and has never, had anything to do with the actual operation of the MyTrezor website. Possibly, someone from Team Trezor can confirm this?

my guess is, that this will in regards to power consumption etc. a big disappointment and not worth the shipping.
I hope i'm wrong.

Of course that is the case or the scammer piece of shit would not be parting with the boards.

I am using the latest version of Digibyte Core for 64 bit Windows (on Windows 8.1). I am trying to consolidate all my DGB into one address. When I attempt to send everything I have I get an error that the transaction is too large and it fails. Why is this happening? Is there too many inputs? How can I determine how much I can send without error? I don't want to have to make many transactions to do this.

http://asistec-ti.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=121

Thanks for that but how can I send them from a specific address to one of my addresses. If I just send it will use my larger inputs and not many of the small inputs. I want to consolidate everything. I have tried console commands but have had no luck. If someone can tell me how to use the console to send from a specific address only to another address I would really appreciate it. Some address have over 1,700 inputs.

Coin Control: Settings > Options > Wallet > Enable coin control features (if you don't have it enabled already)

And from there it's all manual. It's what you select, manually, with no Shift Select, or anything like that, not yet anyway.  Sad

Thanks for that. That is exactly what I needed to accomplish my goal. I will enable it and try to get it all worked out tomorrow. It is way past time to sleep in my timezone. :-D

I was going to post the link to HR's forum ... he's quick.  There was also a discussion about this about 45 days ago here ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408268.msg11310727#msg11310727

I assume you mine to the address with all the little inputs.  I've also had to deal with this issue.  It was because my mining address had many small inputs.

I can't help with the console question.  Sorry.  However, using the information in the post I linked above, I was able to sort of get around the issue.  Basically, you can look at your average small input, and multiply it by about 650.  That gives you about the upper limit to the DGB that you can send to the other wallet in a single transaction.  Because I have a couple of mobile wallets and a couple of separate QT wallets, it wasn't too difficult for me to get them into manageable amounts.

Yes, I was using my graphics card to mine qubit algorithm. Many. many small inputs. I guess I will install the new mobile wallet and move everything there and once everything is there move it back to my Digibyte Core wallet. I am no longer mining DGB so just want all my coins in one place. Thank you for the assistance.

My account shows cleared just need to only pay the massive fee for never ever received payouts

The fee does not get you back payments owed. If anything, and this is doubtful, it will restore weekly payment going forward only. Nobody has claimed getting any back payments. And no "support" tickets have ever been acted upon -- they were just waste more of our time tickets.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, Not paying!!! on: June 22, 2015, 05:25:51 PM
Tell you what. Anyone who wants to can send me 4.4 BTC to pay my fees and I will give you 1/2 of whatever gets paid back. My guess it will be nothing. But if you believers really believe LTC Gear will resume payments then here is a way to have a Sr. Member verify whether or not payments resume. I am not willing to risk any more of my own money so if someone really believes in LTC Gear here is a way to prove it to the BTC forum community what the truth of all this bullshit is.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, Not paying!!! on: June 22, 2015, 03:46:01 PM
this doesn't make sence at all!!!!!
he actually gave you back what you gave him?
too good to be true, then again why the need to pay him in the first place!

below is the latest info from my 32600 share acount:

Your shares and mods can be converted into 8 ASIC unit(s).
One asic unit is minimum number of chips mounted to boards which can be shipped.
Board characteristics, opting for conversion deadline, shipping and other details are available via news or Q&A sessions.

So people like him will tell everyone he is paying them back the maintenance fee in three weeks and hoping the number of people who pay will go up logarithmicly and then run away with more money. Same thing he did back in November and December and fucked us all royally. This is another version of a money doubler scam. First in get back to suck in everyone else. Fuck Chris. I hope he goes to jail and some big dudes beat the shit out of him.

I have 10,800 shares

I received a notice that Chris wanted 6.3891 btc as the yearly maint fee.

I paid the BTC - we will see next if I get paid for the past 17 weeks that have not been paid, since I have given up all hope of ever seeing the missed payments from December 20 (or thereabouts when this started) through Feb 5, when stats began to re-appear.

I made the BTC payment 12 hours ago and my account has been updated and the btc amount no longer appears.

I was on ltcgear for about 5 weeks before the problem started.

I will post an update when I see payments begin to flow again.

as promised

I promised a follow up. I paid my 6.3891 btc which was about $1,450

I never got paid for any of the missing weeks.

However I did get:
188.4542 LTC -for : 2015/06/05 - 2015/06/11   0.01769604 LTC / 1 ASIC Share   0.09174883 DRK / 1 ASIC share

and then I got:

and 196.086 LTC - for 2015/06/05 - 2015/06/11   0.01769604 LTC / 1 ASIC Share   0.09174883 DRK / 1 ASIC share.

I have sold the coins for a total of $1,164 on Cryptsy, so I'll become profitable in the third week (next week) assuming LTC prices hold up.

I have 10,650 shares

Just another fucking ponzi scheme. Saps like you who paid will get your money but your testimonials will suck others into paying who will get nothing and the entire scheme will go belly up again very soon because not that many people are going to be stupid enough to pay him any more money.
1251  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 22, 2015, 02:47:03 AM
Hey all, I just got a trezor and have a question.

Initially set it up w/ only PIN protection. If I enable password protection and leave some funds in the 'non password protected' accounts as well as the newly created 'password protected account'....

How does the recovery process work in this case? When doing the seed recovery process would I check the box 'password encrypted'(or w/e it is) ... if so would this restore both my 'non password protected' & 'password protected' accounts?(even tho the 'non password protected' accounts have no password?)

You should be able to use both "wallets" in parallel (or rather alternatingly) without using the restore process in between. Depending on which pw you use (empty or "something"), a different wallet is loaded. I don't know exactly how it works with myTrezor (I use electrum), but entering a different password (or no password) should do the trick.

Maybe someone who is doing this with myTrezor could chip in?

It doesn't matter if you set 'password encrypted' during recovery, you can change it later after recovery to access your password protected funds. The password function disabled technically is like entering an empty password so you can only access those funds while you have the feature disabled. Enable the feature and your other funds get accessible with the correct password.

tl-dr: yes it works, it will restore both (all) accounts.

I got ya guys, thanks! I see how it works now =)

Thats pretty badass you can have any number of password'd unique wallets on ur device!
Im guessing the way it works is the seed is simply encrypted w/ a password and the HD tree is generated from the encrypted seed unique to whatever password u use.

Yes, that is correct but if you forget the password you lose the coins, period. No way to recover them if you cannot remember the password(s).

No, you are to late. I have sell my Account before one Week for a good Price. In my opinion is LTC Gear gone.

What was the good price?
1253  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 21, 2015, 01:45:42 PM
Is my understanding correct in that you can have say a sort of 'hot' wallet or rather everyday use wallet (with no password) and then say two further wallets each with their own password. If one starts up the Trezor you then only need to enter the relevant password for the wallet you are trying to access?

yes

If the above is correct, is there a limit on the number of wallets you can have on a single Trezor?

no (not practically at least, it's limited by the maximum amount of possible passwords)

Just keep in mind that if you forget a password the coins associated with that password are inaccessible forever. No way to recover from lost password as the password is used in the encryption to create a unique set of keys.

Just installed the Digibyte core wallet, and I must honestly say I am not impressed by it for several reasons. Correct me if I am wrong but

- It takes at least 20 gigabyte disk space?
- For each and every transaction you have to use a different address? (very inconvenient)

I hope I am wrong, but this should be more clear if Digibyte truly aspires to be adopted by the masses, at least make a wallet that functions properly and is clear and easy to use... must say I am dissapointed now and don't know whether I will continue to invest in this project Undecided
You don't have to use a different address each time but it is good practice to do so from a security point of view.

So correct me if I am wrong, but this means that if I send Digibytes from my Bittrex account to the address of my wallet, that after I have done 1 transaction I should make a new address send the remaining Digibytes to this new address before I can do another transaction? really? Huh

No. It is up to you. The more addresses you use the harder it is to trace the ownership of the DGB. You can use one address forever but it makes it much easier for someone to track the coins to you based on activity.

I don't care if they track me since I do nothing illegal, but is the Digibyte wallet unsafe/vulnerable for hacking if I use the same address multiple times?

No, that has nothing to do with the wallet being hacked. Feel free to use the same address over and over. I reuse addresses frequently. I don't give a crap who can track me either as I do nothing illegal also.

WoW suddenly no Fee attached anymore in my account Grin Only 6.5 BTC balance showing

Maybe because i own some 2nd Gen , too?

that balance is the fee you owe. see how everything above it is ZERO (that is what he says he owes you).

LOL i owe nothing, he owes ME Smiley

screenshot?

In my account there is still the amount visible plus the "PAY ME THE MONIES" text.

5ick3uffalo, did the maintenance fee message dissappear? Or do you still have the yellow balances on 0, 0 and 0 and a red one in BTC for the due payments?

maintenancce fee message "PAY ME THE MONIES" text dissapered, yes

Only have one balance and it shows 6.5BTC

Own 3830 qasic and 10 2nd Gen shares.

Please post a screenshot. Nobody will believe this without a screenshot and your fee payment address to prove that you paid nothing.

here you go, thatīs what i see since some days. and no, i not remember this payment adress, because i never would pay this.
I signed up and paid for minting LTC not BTC. And i will (want) get paid in LTC.
And instead of getting paid MY missing LTC i have to PAY BTC. LOL  Grin

Why balance in btc anyway? Must be LTC!

I own 2nd Gen, too. Maybe has something to do with it, because came with hosting 1 year as far as i remeber. Same my qasic.

That balance is what you "owe" him. Go to my account section and it will have address to send it to. LOL.

my account already cleared , but why total fee same with balance  Cry

The balance are the fees you owe LTC Gear. The other balances are zero because he is not paying you anything from what he owes you for the past six months. If you pay this balance to him you are a fucking moron and deserve to be cheated again.

I wouldn't be persuaded to pay him at this point, what I am expecting, or hoping maybe more, is that (currently the balance is red, therefor negative) once all account clearing is done (which seems to be in the not so far future, not even for chris) is that at least everything for december that isn't paid will be added to the balance. Since we've already paid the "maintenance" for that. At least, that's a question he should probably answer in the Q&A, after paying the fee, what will happen to the last six months and separately, to missing decemberpayments for 2014. That would be "lowering" the fee payable considerably. I'd be willing to gamble with a ROI of 2 weeks when paying only a bit of the fee when december payments are substracted.

Fucker owes me over 25BTC. He can take the 4.5BTC fee he wants out of what he owes me and pay me the rest of what he owes me.
