I received a notice that Chris wanted 6.3891 btc as the yearly maint fee.
I paid the BTC - we will see next if I get paid for the past 17 weeks that have not been paid, since I have given up all hope of ever seeing the missed payments from December 20 (or thereabouts when this started) through Feb 5, when stats began to re-appear.
I made the BTC payment 12 hours ago and my account has been updated and the btc amount no longer appears.
I was on ltcgear for about 5 weeks before the problem started.
I will post an update when I see payments begin to flow again.
Sorry but sending him more btc is just fucking stupid. Just keeping a new ponzi going for a short time. |

My account finally "cleared." The scammer says I owe him around 4.5BTC with no money he owes me. In actuality he owes me over 25BTC, even more if Gen 2 came online. I will send nothing. Chris the fucking bee-asshole can go fuck himself in his own arse.

Sequence of event:
a) backup of wallet created
b) created new receiving address
c) coins tranferred to new address
d) wallet deleted
I've restored the wallet from (a) - but it does not have the address I'd transferred the coins to. Can I assume the coins are now gone?

Which wallet were you using? A backup should have been made AFTER you received the coins to make sure all addresses were included in the backup. You have possibly lost your coins if your wallet is randomly creating receive addreses. |

My account is still not cleared. I had a relatively new account. (1 month before the payment stop). I wonder if there still something happens ?!
A new wave of 'cleaning' just happened. My account just cleared as well but I'll be damned if I pay him a 34 btc fee for roughly 20k shares.
What does this Account Cleaning mean ? He is paying out all the dues or what ? He is sweeping away all money he owes you as trash and then charging you a cleaning fee on top of that. It means you are getting royally screwed. |

I used bitcoin many times to send and receive. However each time i receive, i believe i gave the site a different btc address. I use Electrum. Can someone tell me what is the receiving address i should give a site when they ask for my bitcoin address to receive btc in the future? I believe they probably want to send btc only to that address and dont want to ask me for btc address each time.
In Receiving and Used... i see 3 btc address that was used twice. I see 5 btc address that hasn't been used. I see under Change... 4 btc address and one of them has been used once and this address currently holds my btc. So which btc address should i give? Also i notice in many users here... they post their btc address in their profile. So i could choose any of these btc addresses available? So i could have 10btc at one address and 5 btc in another address in electrum? Or its best to keep it all in one address?

You can use any address you have ever used in the current wallet or request a new address from Electrum and then always just use that one. Every receiving address and change address used and generated in the future are valid forever for that wallet's seed. Make sure you keep your seed backed up and safe. In a while if you are active using BTC you will have tens, hundreds or even thousands of valid receiving addresses. |

You can use your API key as a discount code on the buytrezor website. One time use only but you can buy multiple trezors in one purchase and get multiple discounts (I think up to three). |

Mine the same. Anyone with gen 2 still pending. The advance payment is a scam anyway. Don't send that crook any more money. Mine is cleared (own 10 2ndGEN shares) and BTC Balance is 6.5 BTCStill not sure if i sell my account for a lousy 0.38 BTC or not and what the "second option" looks like. Is that BTC balance the scammer wants you to pay in advance? Or BTC balance in money you are owed? |

a possible solution is using electrum, it shows the balance of addresses by default, but im not sure if you want to make the switch or not for just a small detail.
If you have an XPUB you can just search it on Blockchain and it will show all activity to that master public key. |

It seems most people are suffering due to the last crazy discount that he gives before the christmas as people thought that the fee will be counted only after a year of purchase It seems it could be his tactics to do so. Makes me wonder how can people still trust him despite that he has tricked us for months and after months of waiting, what we have in our account is not our balance despite it is a fee that we must pay in order to resume weekly payment .
Big question mark will be where is our earning from the previous months that he should have pay us instead of asking us an upfront payment like this. Those who sent him the fee must have no clear mind of this thought
Yes. Essentially we are still in the same position we were in 3 months, 4 months, 5 months ago. Until there is an actual accessible balance it's still in 100% scam territory for me. And I still don't think we'll ever see a withdraw-able balance (of the last 5 months of payments anyway). There isnt any update yet from what he are owed from the past months and it seems like he has no intention to give what we are owed though Whats being inferred over in the Litecointalk forum is that balances currently owed will appear once all accounts are cleared, that we will be able to withdraw from, and pay the fee from, to continue mining. He has a tendency to "forget" his promises and tend to be late on schedule, nothing new about this and I expected this mess indeed. He lives in some kind of time warp place, where everything is displaced by at least a few weeks. IIRC, in his Q&A, he did say that coins go into the balance, and the balance is there until cleared, or synced, depending on what his word of the day is. It is indeed right, but to be honest he never kept any of his promises so it doesnt really matter though and actually the word isnt clear wether the fee will be paid from our mining revenue or it has to be paid beforehand. In the Q&A session he said that all the account will be cleared in a week ( It was like few months ago I guess ) and until today he hasnt clear any account yet but rather put on nonsense fee to be paid to continue weekly payout. It seems like most people are regretting their decision to give him the benefit of doubt WTB LTCGear accounts; PM me!  Are you running a charity to provide an exit strategy to most people here? It is out of my mind to collect ltcgear account even if you pay like 1/10 of its value He is only offering less than 2% of the accounts "value." |

so basically 2 guys paid the fee and for both weekly payouts resumed. If only my account wasn't still pending and I could pay the fee...... lol From reading the whole discussion in litecointalk, It seems like the weekly payout resume but the previously owed coins is not in the balance. Furthermore it seems like you can pay the "fee" gradually and the fee will keep on decreasing depending on whats left for your account. Whats funny is that there is no TX ID of him paying the 16 BTC fee ( or I could have missed it ) seems bogus to me. With the 16 BTC fee, he (chris) could have resume his ponzi and only dissapear like 5 months later after he got no more funds to pay it again P.S : anyone have a small account that have a small fee on it? Would like to try it and see if the weekly payout is indeed resuming If he is paying anything it is just a ponzi scam. He will payout some small fish so they tell everyone they are getting paid again, then us regular and big fish pay huge payments and then nothing happens again. (Or maybe only the created pub key ?)
They use the masterpubkey to show balances and btc receive and change addresses. Just is it all on the client side or is any sent to the server? The web page is open source I believe so you can look at it on github to see what it does, if you can understand it? |

On my Account all Balances are pending. Nothing has changed. I`m verry disapointed  Chris is fucking us again and again and again. Whats the next? People have already told you what is next... Chris is trying to get people to PAY BEFORE he pays them. Anyone that actually does this is fucking idiotic, and I can't even believe Chris has the fucking BALLS to do something like this... If we are not able to pay it from what we are being owed then this actually a red flag for us. Basically this is another proof that he doesnt have a reserve fund or actually mining anything while we are not being paid. Another reason for him to ask an upfront payment of the fee would be that it would serve as a withdrawal for some people ( ponzi style ) . Guess he lost most faith that people put on him though. P.S : I do hope people dont actually try to send anything to him though there will be people who will send money to him. I would not be surprised if few even get paid. but its a clear ponzi scam! What kind of fee for 2nd gen shares? Those were never even paid  This is ridiculous! Nobody with Gen 2 on their account has had any balance or so-called maintenance fee due. Not only do I have 20 Gen 2 I was never paid on I also have 6000 qAsics that were never paid on since my payment on the 19th was never paid. Support ticket still pending... What a fucking joke.
