1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: April 23, 2017, 12:30:27 PM
Hi Folks,

Warning: Don't try to send coins from Poloniex to another Pascal Coin account. I have had a send tx pending for almost 3 days. On my Poloniex account it shows as completed and has a TX hash but it was never sent to the blockchain. Also it has been over 2 days and 10 hours with no response from my support ticket on the issue. If you have coins in Poloniex I would suggest for now exchanging them to BTC and withdrawing your BTC to a secure wallet. If you want to hold the PASC then don't send it until you are sure Poloniex has addressed this not sending tx issues. I am not the only person this is happening to and nobody seems to be getting any response from their support. If you can mine to your own PASA if you want to hold the coins. Then you don't have to worry about them being stuck in an exchange with bad support.

we had similar issues a long time ago, but I donīt know, how it ended ...

We also donīt know, whether Polo is running the latest version of wallet.

We also still donīt know, what happens with transactions in orphaned blocks.

Some official statements according to this would be nice, user bashing or ignorance is not the the right way.

Wink

I sent a support ticket over four days ago and they still have not responded. The coins have still not been sent. The tx hash does not show in the block explorer also. Here is screenshot from their support site. See how long ticket has been pending. They claim to respond in 24 hours. They certainly do not uphold that promise.

Is it worth overclocking for an additional 10mhz from 137 to 147 if getting a lot of incorrect shares (over clocking errors) is a repercussion?

You don't get paid for incorrect shares so better to go slower and be more accurate. You are only paid on valid shares. Lots of invalid shares will significantly reduce your average hash rate on the pool.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 5 - RESERVATION on: April 21, 2017, 03:00:40 PM
I'm unable to log after I register ?

Normal ?

Their site is garbage. I had to make and discard three accounts over the course of several days before I got anything to stick.

Also, they have no SSL certificate so your password goes over the Internet in the clear. Don't reuse any passwords!

In any case, I tried this morning and they're already out of stock again. Not surprising.

I hope that this group buy turns into something, but I'm not holding my breath.

If they keep selling out instantly every time they get some in stock they have no reason to deal with a discounted price to a group. That would be illogical in a business sense. They would only agree to a group buy when stock is not moving and want to sell the units before value drops.

If you are not in the slack channel, I have posted a prerelease walkthrough video of the PASA Market I have built. It is ready for beta testing and a few slack community members will be testing in the next coming days.

https://youtu.be/m_hej5ZmbPI

Testing is looking good. Everything is working as intended so far. I have a few more testers banging on the app, so once they approve, I'll be opening registration.

https support added, still in closed beta testing - https://www.pascwallet.com

well done but there is a bad need to implement this accounts trading inside the wallet.

Agree, just filling a gap for now.

You do send an account from the wallet. You enter the public key of the new owner and transfer the account using the wallet. Already implemented.

1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Want to mod MSI RX 470 Armor 8GB OC on: April 21, 2017, 01:35:16 AM
What would be the best way to mod this card for better hashing rates? I see people taking about modding the bios and moving memory straps 1500 to all higher memory frequencies. Is there anything else to be done? When I run MSI Afterburner the voltage is fixed (slider disabled) and everything I have tried to enable it has failed (config file change, etc.). Here is the info from my bios. The card has Samsung memory.

@jackbox

I have the same cards as you, did you find success in the modifications you made?

I just replied to your PM. It is morning where I live.  Cool

Sorry guys may be i am crazy but WHERE can i download this miner ?

On this type of thread always go to the first post on page 1 for download links.

Would you be so kind to link it... Have spent half of hour and couldnt find it

To go to the first page of the thread you click on the 1 where all the numbers are. The you go to the OP (Original Post) and the links will be there. Every thread of this kind operates in this manner. Updates are always changed in the OP. It is actually very simple to find them but here is everything below.   Shocked

Is this normal? the fluctuantions?

Similar to my results. It is because effective hash rate is based on how many shares per hour you send. Shares are luck based. Sometimes you find more and your effective hash rate will be higher than actual hash rate, and sometimes you will find less and your effective hash rate will show slower than your actual hash rate. Perfectly normal. All you really need to care about is that average hash rate on pool approximates your reported hash rate over the long term.

Anybody else having problems with sending PASC from Poliniex to another account. My send is over 18 hours since they said completed and the transaction is still not showing in the blockchain and the recipient has still not received his coins.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. I opened a ticket 24+ hrs ago and haven't heard back from them yet.

Thank you for responding. I am sorry you are having the same issue but at least it is not just me. I hope they finally get this issue resolved for everyone and send the backed up txs. Coins being sent to their account with my payload from mining are being registered in my account so I don't see why if they are seeing incoming txs they are not sending pending outgoing txs also?

I sent some PASC to another forum member's account over 12 hours ago from my Poloniex account. The transaction does not appear on the blockchain and the person has not received their coins. Anyone else have experience with Poloniex taking an extraordinary long amount of time to send a transaction once the claim it has been sent? In my Poloniex account is shows as completed with tx hash, but the tx with this hash has never been mined and the block explorer cannot find it.

1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.1 (Windows/Linux) on: April 18, 2017, 05:04:44 PM
What is going to be the difference? better hashrate? less power?

Thanks for your work @claymore

We are all hoping for 5-10% hashrate boost and 5-10% power reduction Wink
Probably will see better results on coins that utlize core, more than mem.

Edit: Just checked some test and 5xx are produced in the same process, so power draw will remain the same at same clocks.
Disappointed.
TDP is 30W higher, also for example RX570 has 1x8pin plus 1x6pin, it does not look for better power consumption...

Seems like the 470s are still the ones to buy for mining.

I would like an account also. PM'd the dev but he did not respond. My public key is

Thanks in advance for anyone that can spare one.

 Cheesy

Account is more expensive than coin! So maybe you should think about to buy one

I have tried to buy one but everyone I have PM'd that have mentioned they have them for sale have not responded. Only one person responded and he said he sells them in bulk only. He mentioned the DEV gives them away upon request but the DEV has not replied to my PM either. I will have one in a work mining anyway, but wanted to get one with an easy to remember account number.

Hi, i forget my wallet password, am sure of almost 70% of it but can't get it right. i tried multiple time in last 3 days.
I have backup file & my private key. Anything i can do, any idea?
Thanks in advance

Without the wallet password there is nothing you can do. That is the whole point of the password. If you forget the password any accounts and coins in the wallet are untouchable.

But if you have the private key it is possible you can create a new wallet and input the private key and then enter a new password.

What is the speed of RX460 on ETH and on ETH+DCR?

12 eth only, 11.6/184 eth/dcr. visiontek 4 gb, -dcri 32

asm=off

It is too bad that we cannot use ASM.

Claymore wrote me, that to work ASM on RX460 he must build separate binary for this card. Maybe he will do it in future, maybe not. It would be nice. I think if there will be more people who wants it too, than he will do it.

Are the RX 460 still power efficient enough that at those low hash rates people can still make money if they haven't already ROI'd on the card?

Lol, shitty scam attempt as the page is already down. Someone used free hosting as well. I hope nobody fell for this since it was a pretty obvious scam attempt, wasn't even a good copy of the site. Linked to "official" baikal page but redirected to a copy.

It's weird because when I clicked on the link I was definitely on the genuine Baikal site. I guess he forgot to put his fake, underlying link and edited the post after I clicked on the link. The real deal page always give me the same result. Try to buy two and it says one per customer. Try to buy one and it says sorry not enough inventory.

lol he pm me with a link, i'm sure he sent a lot of people the scam link through pm.. this is just getting out of hand.

This crap has always happened with group buys and other offers from valid vendors. Scumbags PM people saying time to pay and make a new account that looks so similar to the genuine one nobody bothers to look it has a post count below 10. Some thinking they might miss out quickly send their BTC to the scumbag to never be seen again. I lost quite a bit in the LTC Gear fiasco that I am OCD about making sure who I am sending crypto is the genuine deal before I send it. LTC Gear was the genuine deal for a while and then the guy went Ponzi on everyone and took a bundle of BTC with him.

lol just having some fun with these kids..

my apology if the last couple of msgs annoyed anyone...
just trying to clear my name as I'm going to be here for a very long time.

I believe you. I want to see a screenshot from the juvenile delinquent to prove his point, but it did not happen so he cannot produce the screenshot. I also did not like seeing racial slurs used here. This forum is worldwide and there are many people from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, etc. We are here to share ideas. Not insult each other and use derogatory slurs.
