The WEF plays a big part in control of the world & ordinary people like ourselves. There are many conspiracy theories & you might sound like a lunatic if you suggest them to people in your real life but most of them end up coming true.
Bill Gates has suggested the world population is too large & needs culling. Covid was made in a Chinese lab & released to help usher in The Great Reset. Klaus Schwab even wrote a book on it.
Then we have big banks, institutions, governments, people like Rothschild. The world is a mess & the people in true power are sickos.

Wow that is a really extensive list, I can see you put a lot of work into that list. There looks like a lifetime of activities to try there I may be being really dumb but I can’t see running/jogging in the list. I think lots of people do it to try & keep a decent level of fitness. Maybe you should include it but you have included pretty much everything else. I can’t think of anything else.

A fund might be better than selecting individual stocks. Let somebody else do the work for you, we are in bad economic times though so you will need a lot of patience. It may take a few years before stocks start to rally again.
So if you can sit back & relax, not expecting instant profits then the S&P500 does very well historically. You can get a broker to manage it for you.

I’m a little late but Happy New Year to you OP & everybody else on the forum. It’s been a crappy few years since COVID became a terrifying reality. Things have started to return to normal but with some unfortunate circumstances like a big rise in the cost of living, the war in Ukraine, we’re on the verge of recession.
Hopefully 2023 will be a little kinder to all of us. I wish a good year ahead to all of you.

Of course 47 is not too old to invest in bitcoin. At your age you’re probably better off than the average 25 year old. You have a young family so now is a perfect time to start investing in the future of finance. Also 47 is not old, you could have 30-40 years left alive.
Start investing regularly & you could have made life changing profits by the time you’re 60. Again, 47 is not old my friend.
I wish you good luck on your adventure.

Nobody deserves to be hanged for their sexuality but there are some countries who are guided by very strict religious rules. I am not going to disrespect religion. I do feel for people who can not be who they want to be. In Western culture it is very acceptable to be whatever sexuality you feel like. We are still some way from homosexuality being 100% accepted across the globe though.
I do feel progress is being made & awareness is getting better all the time. Hopefully there will be no prejuidice against any sexuality, race or creed at some stage in the near future.

Solana has something doesn’t it. It’s still so cheap, it has suffered loads of FUD. The network even went down a few times but it’s still here swinging. It was touted as the ETH killer & who knows, it just will not lie down.
I definitely think it has potential to bring great profits in the next bull market & as I said it’s so cheap. Definitely a good idea to buy some & sit patiently for a couple of years. It definitely has another wild, parabolic cycle left in it.

2023 may be a bumpy ride for investors, I don’t think anything is completely safe & a guaranteed safe bet. We are still in troubled waters, a potential recession & maybe even deep depression is not avoided yet.
What I’d advise is just to do extensive research into investment projects & don’t expect a quick profit, you mayb have to wait years for markets to enter an epic bullish period.

The forum is very much alive & kicking. The forum is more active during thriving bull markets, more newbies sign up & sentiment is better but just because the price is down & people are feeling a little low, it does not mean the forum is dead. Most areas of the forum are still very active. There is nothing to worry about, we are still alive

I don’t think anything is going to do particularly well in 2023 due to the global financial situation. Traditional markets are a mess, there is the war in Ukraine, we are in a recession.
Now is a good time to accumulate though, things will go up in 2 years or so. If you have patience then yes, now is a good time to start buying assets.
If you've done thorough research then go for it, buy whatever tokens/coins you believe in.

OP, you have your head screwed on. You are a smart guy & I salute you. Clothes, shoes & other pretentious items almost certainly will decrease in value but you’ve done something very smart. Planning for your future by investing in bitcoin is a smart move. If you can continue to add more bitcoin & continue buying over many years you will be in a great position later in life.
Stay humble & stack sats, that is the way to a good life.

Don’t chase merit, if you make good, constructive, helpful posts you will receive merit. Don’t obsess about it though because the people who do that get desperate & end up less likely to receive merit.
Just be a good, honest, helpful member of the community here & you’ll get merit.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is looking to buy crypto, why?

Goldman Sachs are planning to buy cryptocurrency and or offer crypto services because it’s the future of finance. Cryptocurrencies are asset classes that they can profit from. These guys are not stupid, if their clients want bitcoin then they will start to offer it.
The thing is, these older established institutions have to move with the times or risk becoming obsolete.

Terrible news, poor young man. May he rest in peace & his family be comforted by God at this awful time. 31 is young, such a tragic loss. It seems a really bad time for public figures dying at the moment. Recently soccer legend Pele died, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood too. Obviously no life is worth more than any other due to fame etc.
All we can do is pray for those who have left us & hope their families are comforted by God. Mourning is one of the worst times in life, I wish the families have all the strength possible during this time.
