1521  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption: A technical challenge on: November 05, 2019, 09:09:14 AM

Along with the adoption there will be developments and project that will make anyone even your parents can swipe and pay for grocery products. Adoption will take place no matter what and just like computers where it starts with CLI til GUI was created for anyone to use, anyone can just swipe. You don't even have to be idealist nor a dev to see governments today starting government backed coin.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would an Economy based on BTC look like? on: November 05, 2019, 07:46:12 AM
Just as the title states. How do you guys think  a country with its only economy being BTC look like? Would it look like how western countries are of today, some Cyberpunk future, or maybe just completely mess up? Honestly, I think it'd look something like the current state of western countries, as if the only currency allowed is BTC, then in theory it should always balance out and be flexible.

it is very unlikely that in a country they only use bitcoin for the economy would certainly be a problem for children who have not been able to learn about bitcoin of course they cannot use bitcoin to buy snacks and it might also be uncomfortable for some of them if they want dealing with bitcoin because you have to always use cellular data.

In such a case like this, it will be a necessity to educated the children about the future payment system that they will eventually use. It is quite not that easy in the beginning, but if we became used to it, it will not be hard. I am waiting for the invention of an RFID system that will store cryptocurrency such as bitcoin. In such a way that we will not need to worry about spending too much time just for a single daily transaction that we need to execute.

There will probably an app that will exist about easier for kids to make transactions using the centralized coin backed by government while BTC will function like gold reserves today. Or if BTC is really going to be used by individuals just like a country making transactions to another country, we will probably count prices by satoshis. If I have to buy snacks, will use my phone and scan how much satoshis will I send.

1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what going on crypto | THE FUTURE CASINO ?? on: November 05, 2019, 07:12:18 AM
I'm not also sure what he is asking but I think he meant there are similar casinos sprouting every time and so are exchanges.

Its not going to be regulated any time soon probably not even regulated in million years later. Anyone can create casino sites just like anyone can create a coin for their own. Its internet no one forbids you from doing anything unless regulated. Casino and exchange scripts are available for anyone to install in their server.
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: Cost of Living Comparison on: November 04, 2019, 06:15:20 PM
So at the moment it is best to go to Japan. Moreover, it is not that expensive.

Go to Japan, and you'll take back what you have said, especially if you are going to live in Tokyo, where it is the capital and where food, services, all are expensive, be sure you can keep up with your cryptocurrency, good luck.

But if any of you here are planning to live in Japan, don't put Tokyo in the list, live somewhere cheap like in Fukuoka, one of the cheapest place in Japan where it is good to stay while enjoying the scenery and good government they have.

Japan is just not a good place for someone who has less money, you'd be surprise how much sushi meal would cost you. Visit there for just a day and you'll see if you have no chance to find a job there while holding your crypto yet you would be forced to sell out.

You need somewhere where your USD will be worth 100x if possible. Vietnam or Indonesia or Cambodia I guess. I've met some Aussies out there living like a king with the pension money. Thats where you should go.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 04, 2019, 05:10:57 PM

We all have our own speculation though my guess is that it will happen by the end of the year, not this month. There will be demand to ETH by the coming months when the planned fork approaches. Staking ETH makes people wanna buy ETH for that purpose. And with the help of BTC price spikes, we might ever see a breakout of the $250 resistance.
1526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 things you need to know before trading crypto on: November 04, 2019, 04:41:14 PM
FOMO and FUD is the hardest. You may not even engage in trading but just investing crypto for holding coins but you will always think of losing money when prices drops and bear market continues for years.  A friend, a holder who had kept his coins for years since 2015 tried to update his wallet and took profit because of FUD. You may find yourself in such situation during bear market. If the price of BTC rise so high, you wouldn't really think of the riches to lose after that.
1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: November 04, 2019, 03:26:40 PM
lol you guys still arguing with GP... really no point to that, just ignore him.

50 years later... she'll still be here saying the same thing while the rest is just living their lives and probably EarnBet still just running their business, only much bigger Cheesy

Nobody cares about her, so let her say whatever she wants, just don't get stuck in that discussion trap.

what makes you think that its a she  Shocked
have a very strong impression that it is a he , but yeah I guess it doesn't matter much
not sure about Earnbet running their business 50 years later , but you cannot deny that this is always a kind of a symbiotic relationship -
gameprotect is bumping the topics while advertising himself in them , so he is promoting them in  a way  Grin
to ignore or not its up to OP , I would ignore if I ran a business

There was a thread created by TwitchySeal which doxed her as seem pretty solid that its her.  Thread is Game-protect.

Nardy aka Game-protect had been in the business of scamming for years and continues to do so and may even try to extort more of the casino sites with all this effort to disrupt and right now its Earnbet after this Bethash is another target of hers. In the thread, is where you can check her image.

1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: November 04, 2019, 02:39:15 PM

There are good IEO but most of them are not really good which is why most of the investors aren't into IEO unless its done by reputable exchanges. Its been suggested to just invest instead to coins on top. Since OP is new I believe he isn't a trader so the top projects is where anyone can profit in the long run as a holder. You have sold you car for this venture so you might as well make sure its worth while. You make sure there is no scammer who will sure you to any new projects.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: November 04, 2019, 02:20:06 PM
If i'm not mistaken 60 btc equal to more than $540k compare to the current price of bitcoin and if i have those btc the things which cross in my mind was very simple method to describe my investment portfolio that i will used 80% to realize my dream to build my own business and used 20% for long term hold

$540k is actually just few for someone who has plans to build a family of his own. He must have lots of plans in mind since he wants passive income. 60BTC is a lot to build a business for himself but the guy wants easy venture.  I can only suggest he waits for the ETH2.0 so he can stake his eth and earn while still have more BTC in his hand. Its just not assured of how much is to be earned though.
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 04, 2019, 01:53:29 PM
I tried going to the Xcard bounty thread but I didn't see announcement about adding 8 weeks.

8 weeks would be another 2 months of job so I hope it would be worth while for campaigns hunters. I have joined to campaigns doing this and it end up not well. I know it may not be the the fault of the campaign manager but he allow himself to be used by the team. It would be worth if the coin will have a good price in the end and tokens distributed before the exchange listing.
1531  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 03, 2019, 04:14:09 PM

We have been seeing banks announcing they are going to use blockchain but I think its not up to them to decide whether they can use blockchain as its all up to the central bank. Non of them right now are using blockchain even when they claim they are using XRP. What they could do though is just like what JP morgan did, release their own stablecoin.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance to Open Beijing Office Amid China’s Renewed Blockchain Push on: November 03, 2019, 03:29:56 PM

Well its about time. The company has been known to hire Chiense individuals as their CEO is Chinese so its about time they go establish on their own soil. If China will support the wide use of blockchain then it would make sense to house a big well known exchange for traders. Will they also be open for US exchanges to settle on Beijing?  Chinese market is big, its going to be an opportunity outside exchanges to come in.
it seems like if the exchange from the United States settled in China it would be a different story, I know Binance the CEO is Chinese,
and that gives a positive side to making the green light, the news makes the community feel happy because China is now open about crypto currencies
Binance always revolution how to make investor interested with binance exchange and legal using crypto for currency, now Binance want to open Beijing office. Binance keep giving best ideas how to make bitcoin have many investor with prepare real product look how serious of bitcoin and altcoin become legal transaction payment, binance the only way how to change with crypto world.

If you have in your wildest imagination, do you think the government of China is going to use Binance to monitor all the users who engage in cryptocurrencies?
It just come into my mind since they already dominate the cyptocurrency and suddenly they started to establish an office in US and in China which very surprising because even when Xi Jinping wants to accelerate blockchain development, the government still doesn't support crypto and BTC.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: November 03, 2019, 02:14:33 PM

Nothing is left to do when you are a bounty hunter and have invested time to promote to it, but if you have the token already you can just sell your token and leave it all behind. Project fails not because of the bounty hunters, its always the team's duty to build success which them includes the marketing development and if the investors find the team did nothing for it to take place eventually they will file a scam accusation.
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: BULL VS BEAR on: November 03, 2019, 01:57:28 PM
Well we went bullish last week or so, pushing the price of bitcoin to $10k some exchange. But the problem is that it was not sustainable and majority thinks that there could be some whales manipulating the price.

So currently, I would say that we are still in the bearish trend, not unless bitcoin broke that $10k, maintain its position and not being rejected again. So let's see how it goes, the uncertainty of the market is really hard to predict.

I think right now is the accumulation phase in crypto. The price is doing sideways while the price of altcoins are somehow increasing gradually. There isn't really much going if the whales are really manipulating the prices except them buying some altcoins which is why the prices aren't at all moving up. I say we are in the bullish and a break out soon will prove this statement.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 01:29:48 PM
As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.
Majority who invest their money in these ICO wants to earn the profit as soon as they get listed in exchanges and majority dump the coin when they get the desired profit.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.
What kind of project takes two years to develop and list the tokens in exchanges, everyone will loose their patience if they invested their money and to wait for two years without any result is not the way they wanted and hence people will be demanding the investment to be returned.

I've seen a lot demanding their money back in telegram when the team are delaying everything. Investors wants profit and if possible in a short period of time, if they can't provide a milestone in their roadmap while the token isn't in the market investors might as well just get a refund. There are some who really believes to the team that even when the team only adds their token a a single exchange they still trade with it.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Debt, Buy Bitcoin on: November 03, 2019, 07:18:51 AM

Nowadays it is hard for humans to avoid debt, because debt is now considered normal. This is wrong in my opinion. The proof is that a person
with a lot of debt has a difficult life and the economy is ruined. Same thing with a country that has a lot of debt, its people life is difficult and
poor. Actually debt is not a financial or economic solution, but debt is a disaster. So from that now banks are becoming more advanced, because
they are increasingly creative in offering various types of loans with high interest. In the same cryptocurrency world, lots of trading capital comes
from debt, that's an unhealthy life. My advice is to avoid it whose name is debt or loan. Bitcoin can be a solution to pay debt but not instant, but in
the long run. Because getting profit from bitcoin needs to be processed.

You are correct that many humans can't avoid it and its normal to have to borrow money from time to time. However you need to be financially smart when doing so because I've seen too many people get trapped into debt over stuff they don't need.

Its normal for most people to have a mortgage. Most people can't save up and pay cash for a house that is half a million. And its certainly alot smarter than renting. Then there are those people who need a car to get to work. They buy some economy car and pay it off in 5 years.

However I've seen people who make $50K a year and buy a $100K Mercedes-Benz. They are also maxed out on all their credit cards and pay their bills late every month. Its not a money problem because they get paid well but they just took up too much debt and right now its starting to hurt them.

Buying more than they could afford is the way for people to make it appear like they are more successful but in reality, they are struggling to meet ends. These are the ones going to suffer when situations like crisis will happen. Even the businesses who has tons of money in the banks are going to be stolen by government if they really will print more money since the savings they have will have less value after it.

1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is running DASH masternode more profitable than HODLING bitcoin? on: November 03, 2019, 04:59:52 AM
There were stories Eth only require 32 ETH in order for someone to join and stake to receive rewards. That is much lower requirements than what dash asks. That is still a passive income although Its not assured yet whether the rewards is worth than just holding your BTC.

If I have that 60btc, I would rather buy Mining devices for Monero, it just need graphic cards and set up a solar system for free electricity.  Someone is already doing this as I saw him here in the forum.
1538  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes a Fiat worthless? on: November 02, 2019, 07:59:05 PM
The old Rouble was exchangeable to the new Rouble at a rate of 10,000 to one.    So quite close to worthless and it was because debts exceeded assets, of course the country is rich in many ways (given time to harvest) but it did not have means to pay its on demand debt at that time.      That is what tends to happen, the scales tip a country towards just slamming the reset button.   Its easier for them to destroy the debt and acquire a bad reputation then the 50 years it might take to repay the majority of the debt, doing this can lead to great upsets even wars and the population is stranded by an inability to trade beyond a local barter quite often.

In theory inflation is a form of soft default, like a country raising the retirement age after the population spent 40 years working towards that retirement.    The current global economy is very close to this soft default situation I think, which is why many speculate more secure transactions with less self bias and BTC qualifies in some way for this.

In a way the government is indirectly stealing money from the people who has money on the banks while they try to inflate their money to lessen the debts. Then the trading partners will be upset for doing so and so they will also try to inflate their money. Yes. BTC will help since the government of any country has no power over it to manipulate its price.
1539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it WORTH investing ALTS RIGHT NOW? on: November 02, 2019, 04:42:23 PM
Considering events from last week and bullish BTC movement. Is it smarter to just buy BTC and wait or explore some alts and try to profit now (keep in mind i'm not an experienced trader <6 months)
Appreciate the help!

Some altcoins still have potential to go up again and back on top. Bitcoin seems unstoppable but alts still good investment. Just go to Binance and buy some good volume altcoins there. Or invest in IEOs. This will give opportunity to gain profit. You just to be cautious about buying IEOs. Some of them are scams.

For old coins yes they have potential since they pass so many trials and regain there spot on the market and for sure they still have potential to go up for more, and I also think that the only reliable is with binance IEO and best for people to go but they also need to take precaution since once the token/coin listed a chance for it to get dumped is visible so sell whenever we see a profit and accumulate with dumps and by this we can earn on  this doings.

Investing in IEO will be good if you can keep up and can timely dump what you have before big investors begins to dump. You are just earning form the bonuses you got for investing. But if you don't wanna do that, just keep your investing to the top ones, buy every time it dips since you are not a trader. Invest on cheap ones on top.  My money is on ADA for now since we are waiting for the mainnet, its up for you to keep them after that.
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa - Hidden Treasure for the world and bitcoin on: November 02, 2019, 03:07:32 PM
Africa is basically a great place, and truly they have lots of resources, but their problem is that they have foolish leaders. So, I won't blame them for facing poverty, because their leaders are the ones killing them, such great nations. If only they can come together and take down those evil leaders they have then they will see their economy booming.

Their leaders are so corrupt, all they are interested in when they are voted is just to be stealing from the country's purse and making themselves and their family rich. They don't build good schools for their people, but they send their children over to EU and US to study in great schools such as Harvard and Yale at the expense of their country, lol Grin.

Since, they value education that much, why don't they build such schools as Harvard in their own countries ? It's so shameful. These people have resources such as crude oil, but they don't build factories to refine them, rather they sell to other countries and buy back at a higher price. To me that's stupidity and the leaders are to be blamed. In this world our leaders are the ones killing us in most cases but we do nothing, sad truth.

Leaders in the country are somehow corrupt but this is because its been media manipulated. If EU will just leave them on their own, they will start to develop their practices. No leaders of the country will want their country men to suffer but if all the big guys in the neighborhood wants to hold them by the neck and instead help them, they will grow. The country belongs to the Africans but you can see most of the lands are already bought by the white men.
