1561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 30, 2019, 05:00:37 PM

Day trading isn't easy to do. Swing is going to be your best strategy since the price could go drop to 5% to -5% that's your chance to earn bucks, all you need is to wait for the price changes and this normally happen within a week. Long term however is literally going to make you wait for long period of time. That means waiting til you see bullrun.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty is still potential on: October 30, 2019, 01:48:17 PM

After all the scams done in just 10 years, you can probably see how much scams will come for another 10 years more for us. You'd be lucky to see if the project that gave you 50K tokens are listed in the market for at least you can then sell and forget about the project which could be scam one day. But mind you there are few projects that are still up for the technology they want to contribute. Too few though.
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: October 30, 2019, 12:26:57 PM
Well since you are not interested in trading, its best to just hold your coins with you and wait til you finally need the money badly and spend it like for your health. Don't force yourself into learning to trade when you are not really into it. Most of those who tried and without interest are just losing instead. Remember that you are lucky enough to have gotten 60BTC while the rest doesn't even have 1BTC at all. For many of us 60BTC is a fortune.

Staking ETH would be best I guess. This will happen next year.
1564  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: October 30, 2019, 09:57:03 AM
What better advice we can tell you but buy BTC. There is no altcoins you can fully trust unless you just stick to the stablecoin.

I'm not finding Russia to be affected in financial crisis since the country I think has good economic growth  but if yo look at it that way, you would rather be sticking to BTC. Even so its not assured that the value of your $1k will not diminish but the chance for it to grow in value is higher.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis and Manipulation Analysis on: October 30, 2019, 09:01:04 AM
You got me wonder there.

Wasn't some big powerful individual who has many followers and told them to buy this or that is one of the manipulation thing?
Not only that, sometimes you could see a "fake orders" in some markets. That's what I hate the most. They're manupulating the price as they like.

Whales could also do some manipulative moves sometime. All they need is a large funds. And they could move the chart as they wanted to.

Shilling is part of manipulation, mostly happens on altcoins.
Most of the time when you see price of BTC take a dive without reason or negative news, its probably due to the ones who tried to manipulate by price dips. If anyone panics and sells his BTC, they are the ones going to buy it cheap and those who sold are left to buy at higher price. This is a mere accumulation by dumping and pumping. I have read this somewhere.

1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 04:10:48 AM

I'm sure there are still legit bounty campaigns but then you just have to wait for the team to do something for its development. This is happening every time for projects creating ERC tokens with less funds for the development, they in turn become scam when later members of the team quit. Tron projects doing marketing campaign has higher possibilities to be listed in the market for the network of dapps supports each other and you as bounty hunters gets paid too.
1567  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: October 29, 2019, 08:58:42 PM

I have bought some products in the local store but not online. I think some of the stores are disabling the acceptable of BTC was because of the bear market still. It always end to pointing to the bear market because when the stores receives 1BTC for hundred of products they have but after a month or two the quantity of products it can only BTC was less than 10. And so to prevent it from happening they are disabling BTC acceptance.
1568  Economy / Economics / Re: Fear of Facebook spurs Federal Reserve to build its own digital currency on: October 29, 2019, 07:10:25 PM

I think the Fed will really find it necessary to create their own coin to adopt into the new technology, its going to be centralized we all know that but need it that way. There is no sense in criticizing anymore, its all opensource and can be forked people had already created different alt coins that they shall also be competing. China is about to launch which is a big jump for them and it feels like most countries who are against it are being tricked by China.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that blockchain would empower the systems of the future? on: October 29, 2019, 06:01:55 PM
In crypto currency i believe hype is neccsary and vital; it keeps people anxious about your project and also helps the price.

But hype does nothing if all you have is a bad project.

Blockchain Technology isn't hyped though, imagine storing a data into a transaction that can't be edited after being recorded. That's a very strong technology if applied to anything from product records in the manufacturing company and stores as well. Given this example it can also be used in government systems like election system using blockchain. Blockchain isn't just about cryptopcurrency.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin is The Best in Terms of Utility? on: October 29, 2019, 04:53:03 PM
Its always been ETHEREUM for GAS. every time you spend something, you will need ETH just to send. That's the use case unlike the ones that is just FAST and anon. It only serves for those who like it but why would you want fast and anon if that is just its feature when you can XMR which already serves the community in the dark web.

EOS for CPU, RAM and NET.  Its a utility and this is why you need EOS for you to be able to work with dapps. This utility case are the ones that makes is demand to which is can have higher value.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China start Altcoin Season on: October 29, 2019, 03:13:07 PM

We cant deny the impact of China upon crypto. This global economy giant is moving crypto into new height. Cannan, Bitmain already have filed IPO with U.S securities and exchange commission and if they do successfully they will be publicly able to trade in US. Cannan creative will try NASDAQ for listing

Its about time the US will approve crypto related IPO and probably ETF so that we will know exact what will really happen if its approved.

China I think is not into starting altcoin season, they were just into blockchain technology adoption and their government-backed coin but some good projects actually are developed by Chinese like the NEO and TRX and I don't see why the Chinese won't support these projects.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming Soon: China's Own Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 02:18:03 PM
I know that some will be arguing that what China is cooking right now is not actually a real cryptocurrency due to its centralized and state-controlled nature. But what the heck, China is the next world superpower and it is seeing the vision of using cryptocurrency to further its entrenched economic position all the world.

I am seeing a great potential of this coming state cryptocurrency to be utilized in transacting business with China or in eCommerce department, and this is a huge potential. Jack Ma must already be thinking something how to exploit this great opportunity.

Are you seeing what I describe here? China is conquering the globe without using any sword...

You definitely got into their minds there. Its not about it being centralized its about how they will be using this state controlled cryptocurrency forcing all countries that wants to make business with them to keep up. China is one hell of a economy that can bring everybody to join their cause because the nearby countries may not have the chance to make transactions if they don't adopt blockchain.

Bangladesh which is just nearby already expresses interest to blockchain. This is just one, the will be more coming to open their eyes and sees this is where the technology and businesses is going.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: October 29, 2019, 01:26:44 PM

Despite the US regulation making it harder for the citizen to own coins, the number of people investing to it are growing. Its time for them to see that is harder to stop the adoption, the more people sees bitcoin and altcoins a way to store their wealth than just on banks. They are not winning with this type of regulations, they are the resistance to this new development.
1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Time in Bangladesh on: October 29, 2019, 09:36:10 AM

Bangladesh is also in Asia which blockchain could be adopted widely through the initiative of China and it also involve cryptocurrency not necessarily BTC.
But just when they talk about blockchain, people will also think of BTC. People who doesn't have idea about blockchain will try to search on google and will probably land on bitcoin related website. Nothing on the news that says anything yet but Bangladesh will probably be creating their own coin too.
1575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it WORTH investing ALTS RIGHT NOW? on: October 29, 2019, 09:00:48 AM

Altcoins are starting to gain, I think there are whales also collecting altcoins right now so its a good time to also stash few of the coins that you think are going to also experience bulls. I have bought some and with just the right amount I could probably earn 5 digits when the coins moon to 0.10USD. Its risky but worth when you see good results to this action.
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: October 28, 2019, 04:28:15 PM
Somehow teams today are shifting to another platforms where they will get support of it.  If you are part of a team who wants to develop a project where they can get support and funds you will probably choose EOS because blockone will provide funds for the team. They don't even have to do an ICO or EIO for it. I think this is also going to happen to most of the platforms that has incubators like WAVES. It may look centralized but its way to go than halt by SEC.
1577  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Non-custodial wallet na gawang Pinoy on: October 28, 2019, 04:19:25 PM

As a crypto wallet and not an exchange, bakit kailangan i-regulate ng SEC or BSP?

Grin
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Team and Cryptocurrency AMA on: October 28, 2019, 03:28:54 PM
AMA is a great tool for the team member to interact with their community but it can not be used as an indicator to see a legitimate of the project.
usually the team member holds AMA to educate their community about their unique technology that can not be searched randomly on the internet or explaining their current situation if some problem occurs internally. So using AMA when it comes to decision making in investment is not a good idea, what you need to invest is not their AMA but their technology.
AMA does not prove anything but technology proves something.
I have seen a project that likes doing an AMA and I do not think it is a good investment, RVN if you are asking me.
In addition, besides functioning as an educational media, indirectly AMA also has functions as a promotional media for their platform. This is proven after or before the AMA ends, the price of their tokens on the market always goes up.

The more it could help if the team uploads the AMA video to their youtube channel for it will prove how much confident they can face their investors and not just the text base chat AMA. There are projects who did this in the past actually but some of them still wind up to be a scam. Investors may believe them it as proof they can stand up criticism and defend their stand but its all just for the show. What investors really have to see is the product that works already not just fill with words and this is why I'm strong to projects like EOS, ONTOLOGY and TRON for we already can see with such a period of time, they provided results to their hard work and not just AMA.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Listing on: October 28, 2019, 02:54:08 PM
$2.6M is more than the marketcap of some coin!

Maybe binance figured if these coins are to be listed on them, it should be worth the amount the team could scam to its investors. The amount must be worth because just by being listed on binance a team could be making more than $2.6M, they will earn trust from the public because getting listed on binance is also like they have hired a marketing team pro enough to make the world see their coin.  Other exchanges see it an opportunity also.
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: October 28, 2019, 02:25:36 PM

People may try to invest without knowing when they hear good about it in youtube. Bitconnect is one example of the project where people tend to see it good when the truth it isn't. The victims don't know anything about the project but because it sends out dividends to the holders, investors rush in to buy the coin.  There are also investors who are just trying to win few bucks to the coins being pumped. They know nothing to the project but when they see green, they buy. It happens regularly and I was just one of those who invest to it years ago.
