1641  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-18] ‘Trojanized’ Tor Browser steals Bitcoin from Darknet users on: October 18, 2019, 06:25:46 PM

How in the world he users got into the webpage like  torproect[.]org (note the missing ‘j’)?

When I visit a webpage I often google it first, unless it outranked the oroginal and legit ones you'll end up to the misspelled and malicious website but its highly unlikely to outrank the real old ones. I can describe how stupid the person could be if he still landed to that website so whoever got to the website and download the TOR must have been the most messedup of all.
1642  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inheriting Bitcoin on: October 18, 2019, 05:40:12 PM

While I was browsing the latest Bitcoin news to search for an update positive and negative once then I stumble upon this article that insists that you can now pass on your Bitcoin when you die when you used their service,

And this is Casa's Bitcoin inheriting Service that I think will surely be helpful in the future when you passed away (knock on the hood) and your family and relative doesn't know a thing about cryptocurrency and your Pass Phrase as well, Well I think there is a risk involved in this kind of service your relatives can sure recover your Private key but it can be also an exploit to be stolen as well, but they had promised a multi-sig system that can make the inheritance safer what do you guys think?

Put your seed words in a bank safebox and have it in your will. Or any variant thereof. All you need to give are those seed words, use your imagination how you could securely pass them. The will could contain the instructions, or point them here lol.

Mind you, you can make a multi sig wallet yourself too, its not like you need to pay others to do it...

That's the only possible way I can also think of unless I can trust someone in my family. I can't even trust my wife nor his brothers since I've seen him steal from anyone. There could be a smart contract we can negotiate for this but its still very possible for corruption when developers we know are scammers.
1643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 05:14:49 PM

The countries adoption cryptocurrency is building up, its getting more and more. Its damn exciting to see how much the altcoins I hold will be when finally we moon. I don't see Venezuela and Brazil in the list as well, this lists is incomplete.

1644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cat.ex exchange? on: October 17, 2019, 07:42:54 PM
Hello what are your experience with Cat.ex exchange? Any insight information about their real volume and are the trading competitions legit?
no idea about this exchange never heard and use it before.
About the 24 volume and trading pair you can check it here https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/catex?utm_content=catex&utm_medium=search_exchange&utm_source=coingecko

Upon finding information about them, I landed on ANN thread here in the forum which they were actually dong bounty campaign where they paid CATT tokens to their participants. Unsure what happened but they already lock the ANN thread but they are also offering daily dividends to the holders of the coins just like the new exchange projects concept like Vitex. Interesting they are not actually the first to have offered dividends to token holders. My guess is that the holders of CATT are trading there.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet - Established In 2014. First DEX on the market. Price predictions? on: October 17, 2019, 06:44:43 PM

If you are eyeing a lot of project it certainly make you wanna invest to a project that already hit the -100% if possible since the bear market. Blocknet is one good project to look at since its sure to rise up. It is not however among the top coins though and its only listed on 3 exchanges which is why volume is not that huge.

I'm sure they'll be listed on more exchanges moving forward. Beaxy is one that has been confirmed already, and although it's a new exchange, they do have FIAT on.ramps which means they could become as huge as Binance one day - You never know.
The Beaxy community is impressively huge and engaging as well, so it's pretty promising.

Long term BLOCK will do well, no question about that.

If the bear market just didn't run this long, the price of Block wouldn't be this low and this goes for most of the project that last. Binance would be a long shot but probably. The developer is actively updating the community so this is good.

You can actually install their blockDX which you can buy coins enough for the MN collateral. No need to submit KYC.

1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: October 17, 2019, 04:54:47 PM
For sure why not? It is possible that bounty managers know that the project is fraud, but has already received a solid amount of money to promote it. In the most cases, bounty manager would say sorry and move on to next projects.
But there are also Bounty Managers who don't know if the project is a scam. From the beginning it was very solid and paid the Bounty Manager for the first payment, but then when indicated by the SCAM, the bounty manager would immediately stop it, even though the Bounty Manager received more payment. if the Bounty Manager earns red trust, there are indeed mistakes that they don't realize, but instead work together to promote SCAM projects continuously.

But all these are hard to prove though.  It's just a classic he said she said unless there is a proof, a screenshot of the convo in telegram for the accusation to be proven.

Until then there will always be doubt that these bounty managers are also involve in the scam project. Some of them have already red trust like sinatrra12. He used to be well liked as far as I know but he must have been a victim as well.
1648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cat.ex exchange? on: October 17, 2019, 04:24:21 PM
I recently learn about this exchange when I tried looking into the volume of TRX, I found out its volume are mostly coming from the pairs in Cat.Ex. Check this out https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tron/#markets

Don't know how this exchange got the trust from users but thats it, I'm not sending documents to another exchange so I'll stick to the current I'm using.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 17, 2019, 03:18:46 PM

Not familiar with these games but the only I have tried so far is the Reality-Clash which I have dumped its token already since the team doesn't really have plans to add the token to a serious exchange. But I still have about 12 weapons with BTC skins I can't sell. I'm stuck with it. We don't earn anyone by playing it by the way I'm not sure about those other games.

Hash Rush looks very interesting with their Rush Coin and a number of character skins ERC721.
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: People Empowerment on: October 17, 2019, 02:05:18 PM

The central banks and government knows that when people can stand on their own without them can spark revolution and this is why they are up to redeem back the control to the people and they are winning in this part because we still need the fiat. I don't think there could be a future where we don't need it unless the government is not needed anymore. We do need them for peace and order but crypto can co-exist with fiat.
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: October 17, 2019, 12:07:10 PM

Its even possible they are also the ones creating new dex for the projects they previously created so they can dump the tokens they created themselves in the dex as well. Its pretty obvious the project is a scam with fake members busted by the people here but the token was listed to a DEX. It can't be that coincidental.
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! THE MOST EXCITING NEWS TODAY !!! FOR YOU ??? on: October 17, 2019, 11:56:12 AM
Found this on cointelegraph "Bermuda Becomes First Gov’t to Accept Tax Payments in USDC Stablecoin"
Looks like they are the first government to accept cryptocurrency, a stablecoin - USD Coin for tax payments, tax so most probably this was approved by their government. This is good for the crypto community some countries are slowly adopting crypto.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bermuda-becomes-first-govt-to-accept-tax-payments-in-usdc-stablecoin

Thats something new. I googled it and the only country that says where it is the Bermuda is a British island territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Is this the country?

The population is less than 100K according to wikipedia, it would appear this is an experiment for the cryptocurrency, I wonder how many in the 100k are crypto users actually.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: October 16, 2019, 08:31:42 PM

The only time these teams are going to be posting is when they need investors to come and fund them, right after that. Its your turn to come following them and wait until they reply to your inquiries. We've seen these teams almost begging for money but now you can't even see them post a guide on how to swap your tokens to their new contract.
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tokensdex - Decentralized ERC20 Trading Platform with IEO Launchpad on: October 16, 2019, 06:54:44 PM

What do you check before adding token?

I have noticed a token that you have added has a scam accusation which the Acash project has fake members in their team. The accusation thread is right here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5189591

The rest of the tokens listed are not known. You allow your exchange to be part of this scamming attempt.
1655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 16, 2019, 05:51:34 PM

Its the newcomers in crypto who is going to be massively be denied of the truth. Most of them will be more gullible to probably keep investing that BSV not even thinking why Wright forks his BTC is he is indeed the real satoshi.  If he speaks a lot in public about him being the real satoshi, he could be making it appear like its been stolen from him and that he is the Hero for creating blockchain. WTF!
1656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 3 Cryptocurrency Trend Indicators on: October 16, 2019, 05:35:22 PM

Trendmaster is interesting. Haven't add anything to my tradingview but it says by clicking, it will add automatically?

I guess these indicators would not be of help for those pump and dump masternode coins? Do you think, it can detect the possible exit of those kind of coins?

Isn't RSI going to be working still for those coins like DASH? I never trade that coin but the overbought can still be seen with it. AS soon as you see its overbought you can sell rightaway not minding you take profit. Just don't wait til it reaches its peak because you might not see it coming someone will dump before you can.

1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Didi sold everything for Bitcoin on: October 16, 2019, 05:07:24 AM
That's a very fearless move. Good luck. If I'm just single and would live with my parents, I've probably be doing all that as well. This time would have been very good time to sell all my belongings and probably my car as well all for BTC and start just looking for odd jobs in the neighborhood til I get my lump sum once BTC beats its ATH again. He's lucky to have done this while he is young and can probably just enjoy his profit later.

Dude , he is ~41 years old has a wife and kids, and has lost ~ $˝ million dollars in fiat since doing this.

So he is $˝ million in the hole at the present.

So technically bitcoin has made him much poorer.  Tongue

This is also a video about him,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19U11Zhty5U&feature=youtu.be
watch it and get some prospective.

Just exactly they meant, losing half a million seem not a great way to make himself popular. And then he posted the faces of his kids, ain't that smart?

He got balls we can see that. Owning a lot of BTC is good. He could have kept it to himself and not telling everyone about it. Its not a good idea as we see crimes increasing related to BTC.  When Bullrun comes, good luck to him.

1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy GRAMS in Telegram. on: October 15, 2019, 08:17:45 PM
information on topic has been updated
So, now it is possible to buy grams for 2 dollars per token.. Who remeber, what price was at first rounds of ICO?

And, I have a doubts about all these bots. Most likely, they simply sell air.. Otherwise, how can we check this?

Don't fall for it. There were users already notice this could be scam. This is where the thread he opened just today but then users sees this to be a scam because SonGrambot has nothing to do with real GRAM token sale.

And user ronin07 had just awake.

When you are in the coinmarkecap.com, you can click that Change (24h) and you can see which one had been growing faster within the day. The first 3 that you can see are:

96    GXChain GXChain    $35,542,638    $0.546810    $21,790,423    65,000,000 GXC *    18.28%

One that should you be noticing was this SWIPE, its no where you can find a week ago. How did it reach there?
