1501  Economy / Gambling / Re: DeFight.io - Decentralized Sportsbook - Create, Promote, Get Paid. - No KYC! on: November 08, 2019, 04:00:25 PM

https://defight.io

- Create your own events for users to bet on using ETH, USDC, or BXY

- Receive up to 5% of the pot!

- No KYC

- Private events allow you to just play with your friends

DeFight.io is the first completely decentralized sports book that pays you to create and promote your own events! The more people that join your event, the more money you make!
I just we t ahead and visited your website to understand the concept. Frankly speaking I do not have a clue how it will work?  The next big question that  comes to my mind is that how will you guys earn?

What exactly does decentralised means? Your platform is being controlled by you. Which means it is a centralized sports book.

It says you can create an event. I can only assume we as users can post something and allow people to bet. It all depends up to us what sort of. You can try election where users can bet which candidate could win in the election and you can bet as well.  Or you can create a boxing match like in sportsbetting, seem decentralized to me if this is the case.

1502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 08, 2019, 03:22:01 PM

There are lots of things to learn before trading so start reading how to's because that's when you learn the technical terms they are saying. There are also youtube videos you can watch and then also sign up to binance, most of us are there. The one thing I learned the first after learning the price can fluctuate in minutes to hours is that how to determine before this will happen. Indicators are best to learn to predict where they would go.
1503  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sad news - Coinbase is leaking your information on: November 08, 2019, 01:55:19 PM
For those who are fond of doing KYC just because they want to get some few dollars from an ambiguous exchange. Am always cautions of my identity online and not to expose myself. We  must be cautions of these exchanges that are been use by government agencies to get investors data. The last thing I will do to get few dollars is KYC.

What exactly are you insinuating? can you tell me that in your years of been in crypto that you haven't done any kyc in any platform be it exchange or not? there is nothing wrong if someone do kyc as requirement of the platform he is dealing, but it is wrong when this platform decided to exploit this entrusted personal information without any shame.

All companies conspire together to collect data from the internet.
If you have done it once then your name and documents are already on their files. There is just no one can stay stealth unless you have not tried it before. We're not criminals anyway. But I'm not sure what they are going to do with your information if you start to hid yourself from now on using VPN and TOR and not using CEX. If IRS is going to send you letter next year, you can probably reason the coins were long gone. Hacked by someone or whatever.
1504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Aren't we headed towards getting a 10k (or maybe higher) shot again? on: November 08, 2019, 01:30:45 PM
Based on the current price of bitcoin I think its become weaker so I expect a drop to $8700 to $8500 which is a golder ratio 0.618 on 4hr timeframe higher to lower candle if you plot the fibonacci.
But its too early to predict what will happen to bitcoin before and after the end of this year, I will be happy if bitcoin will be back to $15k level.

It could be on that price range of days/weeks if it breaks the support in 8700 before going up again and I'm just speculating this thru the RSI.
Investors who were just getting into bitcoin because of Xi Jinping could panic by now and if they sell, that's when it could break. I guess it should happen before BTC can move up to $10K.  Not a year to expect the price to reach even half of the ATH.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 08:04:24 PM
I haven't watched the fight but one of my relative living on Japan posted it on social media that Donaire lost. He said that it was like Donaire is allowing Inoue to punch him but that's being Inoue having no loss and a champ.

Naoya Inoue beats Nonito Donaire in back and forth FOTY contender

I don't think he was allowing to box him, it could look that way since he isn't blocking but I think its him not panicking. Inoue is fast, can counter punch and a very hard puncher and I guess I can believe those who predicted he will win the fight from now on. Donaire must be dealing with broken ribs to have felt it  like he wanted to quit the fight when I saw him running.  There is yet no report about his injury but I'd be interested to know how he is right now.
Does he had a broken ribs into that body blow given? I guess its just a liver blow which the main reason why
Donaire ran off and kneel down. Even experienced ones wont able to endure that kind of pain.
Seeing it live do really give out some chills on my spines and as everybody said this one is a good fight.I didn't make any bet though.

A vicious left hook to the ribs in the 11th round as said in this article https://ph.news.yahoo.com/inoue-beats-donaire-world-boxing-141800408.html
I kept replaying the video and the punch definitely hit the rib cage, Donaire tried to block the left hook but it went thru, it slip thru when it hit his elbow to his rib cage.  I can see the ribs almost popout actually, he immediately back away as he felt the need to kneel.  But if you look at how Inoue deliver it, it doesn't really look as if he put a weight to that hook.

Donaire lose the fight, past his prime but did last the 12 rounds. I thought the cut om Inoue's eyebrow is just the start lol not the kind of fight I expect though, I hoping for a knockout either Doniare or Inoue, I gotta reimburse my money. I allocated just about 15 minutes to watch the TV but lasted more than an hour. Congrat Inoue.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: November 07, 2019, 12:16:20 PM
There is nothing yet on youtube but there are move live links in facebook to watch live. Inoue's brother just lose a fight right now.

My money is on Donaire. I could be over confident there is no way that short man can knock the experienced Donaire, he had fought bigger fighters before and almost knockout Nicholas Walters. If you have to look at the records of Inoue, I don't see big guys on his list.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: November 06, 2019, 08:36:29 PM

Although it sounds cool, I cannot see much difference to how things are now, except for a new name. Maybe a new name is what the exchange needs to get some life. I cannot help to think why would you want to bring all those services together (which in a way is already together)? It sounds very much like preparation for the sale of the Waves DEX as a unit to an outside party. Maybe I am wrong.

I think there will be more movement if they will not be a DEX only. The trading right now is very dull in Waves DEX and very few assets are really performing. You can count it even with your hands. Let us see if this move will make a difference on their business and what factors are gonna be integrated with their new face?

Also, if you have account in Waves DEX, can you still access the same account with same keys if it's already a combination of decentralized and centralized features of an exchange? I wanted to know as I still have account in Waves DEX.

Hello Twinkledoe! You'll need to go through the migration process. As of November 18, users will be able to import their accounts and seed phrases, and, on December 2, the new exchange will be launched. Your personal information (seed-phrase, etc) stays on decentralized part.

Sincerely, Waves Community Manager

I don't remember filling up personla information on WAVES DEX actually. Is it just me who sees they will soon asks of KYC documents?

You see there are DEX already asking IDS like IDEX and bitshares. This must be because of the regulations and for governments to monitor crypto traders, I think people will understand if they start collecting IDs from its users but users will try to avoid.

1510  Other / Meta / Re: What to do with users like this? Advertising in posts on: November 06, 2019, 04:54:07 PM
There are number of them that only promotes their crypto news site. Although they spark the conversation here its not much healthy if they just keep doing it without replying back to the thread. If they are going to be posting links like they are spamming, they might as well be buying a copper membership for that privilege otherwise they are going to abuse this.  For SEO purpose, dofollow links in the forum is very much useful for them to rank.

This user had been doing it since last April of this year https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2474729;sa=showPosts
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: cryptocurrency and forex trading.... on: November 06, 2019, 03:00:55 PM
Some question keep flashing my mind about crytpocurrency trading and forex trading, in crypto currency you exchange your local currency with bitcoin or other Altcoin which means you can buy different token with your money once it get to crypto market but I can clearly observed that in forex trade you only have access to convert your local money to USD which means you are still dealing with fiat. Now my question is between crypto currency trading and forex trading which one is more riskier and which is more adviceable to get involve as a new online trader???

Its not true that you can only exchange your localcurrency to USD, its just that all currencies are paired with USD but there are rare pairs too. Check your MT4 of the list because there might just exist your Localcurrency/JPY or CHF. FOREX is regulated and maybe you stick to forex first since most of the indicators you'll learn are also applied in Crypto. RSI for example is I first encounter in Forex. Though I'm not in to leverage but in  FOREX is where your concept of margin trading.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you sell a million dollars bag of crypto? Would you trust exchanges? on: November 06, 2019, 02:37:06 PM
I haven't dumped that much too but i will expect the exchange will ask a lot from me besides the documents i have sent long time ago. Maybe they want it updated. They would be surprise by the amount since the previous transactions I'm doing is even just less than $1K. Trading altcoins just require few bucks so I can understand if they are going to recheck again my status and probably ask where my funds are coming from which I can't produce. SO they may just .old it until I can prove it. So bit by bit on different exchanges would work,
1513  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next? on: November 06, 2019, 02:07:43 PM
I made a similar post last week shoeing concern about one more dump before the halving

It's too early to judge that there won't be any dump before the halving because there are still 6 months left.
Bitcoin still manages to hold above $9K, some pullback occurred but can't force bitcoin under the support level for a long period. Frankly speaking, no one knows what will happen in 6 months,  but the chance for bitcoin to drop again is still quite large, at least fall to $8K.

Not sure if its going to be big dumps probably just a slight people are selling out of fear. But I think the market is pretty much ready for some pumps. It may however start this last month of the year. And then the news about ETH2.0 will come and all other news that will eventually make this price rocket. FOMO will happen and then they are going to flock in crypto and then we will all again be predicting when the bears are gonna come back.
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is a Race For an Internet-Native Currency, and Bitcoin is Leading It. on: November 06, 2019, 01:26:51 PM
Stablecoin I guess is going to be out of this race since its just going to be used anyway for everything like sending an amount you don't want the value to change in matter of minutes. IF the race is just about which one is going to be used widely, stablecoins I think had lost the race already if you look at the dominance.

You should be thinking of blockchain as a platform itself and BTC is just one of the application and all other altcoins are other apps with some other purpose for each community they meant and were built for.  Tether and all other stablecoin isn't part of it as it can be considered fiat.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Cryptocurrency; Driving me mad. on: November 06, 2019, 01:11:12 PM

Not bad for a marketing but Status is already a well known project.

Such project isn't easy to materialized. If they intend people to make transactions within the web3 browser with chat on it, then its going to be heavily equipped with security codes on it. Status (SNT) is one of the project which gathered a lot of funds during their ICO probably even the top 10 of all projects in crypto, it attracted a lot of investors and I guess having its cheap price today didn't stop those people from trading and investing to it.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology "bottled" up on: November 05, 2019, 07:04:12 PM
Coca Cola is joining as well.  Okay I'm gonna drink to that.

Looks like I can already see the future of it all when the popular companies starting to join into the wagon. Though this may only involve blockchain, I still see it an acknowledgement to the use of BTC.

Blockchain system is a future technology that every company in the future cannot avoid, I am sure in the future every company will use Blokchain technology or they will be left behind, it's all just a matter of time.

I am not sure it is a good idea to say that blockchain technology will confidently be the technology that dominates all businesses. There are many aspects of a business that blockchain technology is certainly not useful for.

Blockchain is nothing but the best to make immutable records, accounting and storing data whichj is most likely businesses needs. What aspects?
1517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Phishing Blockchain.info on: November 05, 2019, 05:34:04 PM

The problem is that people are so busy, they will not even look at those addresses and simply follow Url links provided in emails to visit those sites.

I have often seen newbies fall for such phishing sites as they rarely suspect the sites they’re visiting, and hopefully after seeing op they’ll make it a habit to spend few extra seconds and verify if the site is legit or not. It’s also pertinent to note that a person with good knowledge of seo can rank these sites in the first position in google, though it’ll be taken down later but the damage is usually done by that time.

An SEO guy would have to build backlinks and post articles somewhere and I guess he'd be tracked if he does that. he' got much success if he targets newbies email like the list of bounty hunters who usually register to the documents they fill on campaigns. Some of the spreadsheets actually are open for the public which their email can be seen by anyone.  So its advised that they don't click links in the emails. If they normally visit a website, its best if they just bookmark it or manually type the url every time they go.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 05, 2019, 05:18:21 PM
In this situation, the bounty manager should request an increased budget from the project. Bounty hunters should then do some background research to find out whether the project is struggling to meet its funding goals, or whether the extension is being added for another reason. If the project is failing, then I would recommend cutting your losses and stop working on the project. Also, if the bounty manager didn't add a stipulation that the date can be extended, then you should avoid following their bounties in future as they are clearly operating without much integrity.

Easy to say cutting your loss when you have not worked for 8 weeks to them and then extend for another weeks. But its definite one that might have to do unless he risk continuing the blatant abuse already while the team's token isn't yet officially in the market. The scam could be more fatal when finally the bounty campaign ends and the market is open.  Allocations for the bounty campaigns may be distributed too late, that's where the scam could go blatantly go worse.
1519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bottom Has Passed, Delphi Digital Says on: November 05, 2019, 04:01:23 PM

Yep $7k is their bottom. I guess because it touches many times to that support. They didn't consider $3k to be the bottom when it really is, it just bounce back up quickly.

Indeed bottom has been long passed. The bottom was at 3k$ and that was it. Since then we should be glad that we had this small dips in price giving us the opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin again and even the carts point in this direction as we're still in a strong accumulation zone so I would expect the price to stay above 9k$ and under 10k$ until the end of the year.

Its a much ideal price up til mid 2020, its just not how things work when halving is fast approaching. Its already presumed those miners will sell their coins for a higher price and traders will do so as well.
1520  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Einstein Crypto Exchange Seized by Canadian Securities Regulator on: November 05, 2019, 02:44:14 PM

Its time for regulations so if they have no license I guess ifthey can generate one from the Canadian government, they can reopen it again. That is if they can acquire one.

If I may just ask since we are already here in this topic, what happens to the native coin of the exchange if they released on while the exchange were seized by authorities?
