7941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey agree to talk about bitcoin at an event in July on: July 22, 2021, 07:39:56 PM
Now, it is revealed that not only Tesla but also SpaceX own Bitcoin. If Elon already shilled Dogecoin with Moon mission, do you think he will shill Bitcoin with another Moon mission or similar space flight to the edge of space like Blue Origin and Jeff Bezos just did days ago. I mean he might accept Bitcoin as payment method for Moon mission or space flight.

doge and bitcoin could work for the moon. but not for mars
mars is closest 5min (10min send+receive) furthest 40min(1hour20min send+receive)

meaning on mars.
if you want to pay for rationpack with someone in the same colony tunnel on mars
sending a transaction can take 5-40min.. and to see it on the blockchain would be 20min-90mins after you have sent the transactions.
meaning your mandatory 10minute refreshment break would be over before the rationpack seller sees a confirm
7942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey agree to talk about bitcoin at an event in July on: July 22, 2021, 07:26:31 PM
which makes me more confident about the need for a censorship-resistant money, and the network becoming a multi-generational protocol.
^
says the guy advertising another network at every oppertunity and being buddies with censors that want to ban/ignore anyone wanting to evolve bitcoin onchain

and yes LN is a separate network different currencies can use. a small nice service network for small amounts.

which bitcoin should not be devolved/stagnated just to publicise this other network as a go-to service everyone should use instead

and no dont cry to your buddies for backup rebuttals

and yes you saying
"i dont want coffe amounts onchain" is censorship talk of wanting certain transactions removed/not tolerated
funny thing is if you cant spend coffee amounts. how you suppose to spend coffee amounts to deposit into your other network to then buy coffee in your accepted manner

and please dont say the idea is to lock up 10xcoffee amount. then split it over 4 routes. because then you will not get to buy 10 complete coffees
7943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"? on: July 22, 2021, 07:10:46 PM
2)Easier to divide:
Compared to gold, Bitcoin is easier to divide. The smallest unit of bitcoin is 1 satoshi, and a bitcoin can be divided into 100 million satoshis. At the same time, the Bitcoin split has almost no cost, while the golden section has a huge cost.

in the blockchain... there is no btc..
there is no 21mill limit rule

in gold in the ground there is no bars of 1tonne, 12kg. or ounces of 28 grams
there is no 195thousand tonne limit that then gets divided

..
the real limit and measures.. start small
miners mine sats and grams

its only 'basket termed' for easy human brain to understand big numbers after the mine

in 2009 the first block reward was not 50btc.
it was 5000000000sats. and every 4 years that reward number halves

for graphic user interface after the data fact. this is divided down by 100mill to become 1btc basket term
so technically your not splitting a bitcoin. your instead lumping sats into a btc basket

grams of gold can be lumped together into bags of kg gold or smelted into tonne bars
but humans years ago decided to lump gold into bars of 12,000 grams as their basket number
and a subset 28gram = 1 ounce

..
but the point is
bitcoin always is a unit of measure from sats -up
gold always is a unit of measure from gram -up

it only becomes basket terms down.. AFTER humans play around with it

some well-known investors like Robert Kiyosaki continue to call Bitcoin is 'digital gold'

I myself don't mind what they call Bitcoin but Bitcoin is actually not digital gold because its value is not based on gold. Bitcoin to me is more valuable than gold, the position of Bitcoin is higher than gold.
According to statistics, the total market value of global gold currently exceeds 8 trillion U.S. dollars. If the market value of Bitcoin exceeds 8 trillion U.S. dollars, the value of a single Bitcoin will exceed 400,000 U.S. dollars. This is just a judgment on Bitcoin's value as a "digital gold".

Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"?

its an concept analogy..... not a asset-peg-reference

EG concept analogy :-yes
'its mined, like gold.. bit digitally'
EG pegged asset:- no
'its digitally backed by gold'
7944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing its importance on: July 22, 2021, 12:39:47 AM
Once again the market has been manipulated after the statement of Elon Musk "Tesla will Re-accept Bitcoin" and this way based on the volume of accumulation one day bitcoin network might go completely into the hands of centralized powers.

It needs to be allowed for its real growth. Quite often these guys manipulating the market looks like an asset that doesn't have its own value, but depends on someone's words.

zoom out your chart

...
when something is to provoke a market it takes time for people to deposit funds and the make a market order.
so if you are looking at a 1hour-1day chart and think you see a large movement.. zoom out to the month view and you will just see its another simple wave in the same range of the other waves this month
10%
5% +- of a $31k medium

its been 31-32k for most of the last 7 days with   a lil dip down to high 29k
.. but thats all within norm range for july

in short. elon has not made any impact. so calm down and stop looking at the smallest scale movement and think they are huge because they fill up the whole gape of an hourly market

.. just saying
7946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 21, 2021, 09:11:33 PM
Are there any Bitcoin mining facilities currently running on nuclear energy?

yes ofcourse yes
nuclear has been around longer then wind and solar
7947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 21, 2021, 08:51:16 PM
Am surprised to see some people still showing interest in Musk's views after he literally exposed his manipulation tricks in recent times.

He is probably waiting for the BTC price to continue falling so that he can scoop them up and sell them at a much higher price later on which is the smart thing to do basically. I doubt that he is actually serious about energy efficient mining etc.

he is much obsessed with his solar and wind ambitions of other countries because they need to store the volatile energy production to buffer it out over a 24/hour business.
so with his not so subtle plugs of his battery business.. he got his advertising quota in

he tried to not talk much about hydro. because who needs a battery when a reservoir is a natural energy storage.
he totally avoided the stats about how much hydro china has and where most asic farms are in those areas. all he did say is 'once i double check we might start selling cars for btc .. if the numbers check out

id say 80% of his talks was about battery storage and the need for it to be done due to solar/wind irregularities which is not good for asics needed 100% 24/7 guaranteed electric..

if he was really "natural" and into energy storage he would have considered and talked alot more about wave/reservoir hydro.. geothermal options more then just a passing comment(natures energy store).

24h Low
29,482.61

24h High
32,858.00

definitely this volatility has to do with this event, unfortunately

zoom out.. stop caring/worrying about the hourly movements of under 10%
it might look like large climbs on a hourly chart.. but on a weekly/monthly chart its just another wave in the ocean

it takes time for new investors to get their fiat into an exchange and then buy bitcoin..
. stop trying to spot social trends in minute/hourly charts

Overall, the conference was very informative. Especially for people who needed the education. I will note that while many of the talking points have been discussed thoroughly elsewhere, it was nice to get the spin from some of these names.
i didnt think of it as  the normal pomp and flare of a conference we're used to.. it felt more like a celebrity edition of 'lets talk bitcoin' podcast. but yea getting some big names talking is to be considered an 'event'
7949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 21, 2021, 07:12:03 PM
Is this meeting have anything to do with the market reaction! Yesterday btc was below 30k but right now it looks like the price is slowly going back up, am really hoping btc will pull another surprise on us and do another run before the year ends, I can't to see more green candles again, there have been too many red, it is time to experience another price pump.

zoom out.. stop caring/worrying about the hourly movements of under 10%
it might look like large climbs on a hourly chart.. but on a weekly/monthly chart its just another wave in the ocean
7950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Data Reveals Bitcoin Mining is Now Friendlier to the Environment on: July 21, 2021, 06:50:23 PM
New data from the University of Cambridge shows

Greener Bitcoin Mining
Beijing's repressive approach has forced miners to relocate, and many have found more friendly jurisdictions, such as Texas, with lower-cost renewable energy sources.

no and no
firstly cambridge came up with a nonsense news piece months ago that was fuill of racial bias mantra about "china bad"
asic farms have been in renewable(hydro) area's since 2014
china has only been trying to cut out the hobby miners running too much power through their residential circuits that it causes neighbourhood brownouts

..
you can look at pools and they are still running asics in places like beijing and getting the same block percentage as they did before. meaning beijing hashpower has not gone
take btc.com own pool
https://pool.btc.com/en-US/pool-stats
scroll down and see the blocks... oh look beijing is still there

and at time of posting.. asia still had most blocks solved
7951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Destroy 1,069 Bitcoin Miners With Steamroller In Malaysia on: July 21, 2021, 06:12:05 PM
ASICS are like Heroin to the World's Power Grids.  More Harm than good.  Tongue

ASICS used in residential area's will cause brownouts/blackouts as the draw on residential curcuitry is in excess of what a traditional house requires

so illegal farms (not set up in industrial circuits) is what they are cracking down on the most

much like blackmarket illegal heroine..

however heroine has a pharma usage as a painkiller. so not all heroine is bad
its just how and where and by who its used that makes it bad or good

jack dorsey is trying to merge his 'square' and musks x.com business history to have been around and slightly involved in the bitcoin community in 2009

lol
its like they want to re-arrange history to act like they were influencers from the start
7953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become the most decentralized cryptocurrency? on: July 21, 2021, 05:23:16 PM
the 2 main 'centralisers' is not usernodes. or pools

its actually merchants and devs

if it becomes a thing where most of the ways to buy bitcoin and sell bitcoin are through 1-3 big powerful exchanges. then even miners will end up needing those exchanges. and so would users. which leads to incidences like the 2017 NYA where the coercion of merchants saying they will reject blocks that dont fit their desires sways pools to change their block numbers to flag for the same thing that the NYA merchants wanted

pools could continue mining as is and not be coerced. but then their blocks are not seen by the merchants so they cant spend their rewards with the merchants.

users wont want their transactions going into blocks that are ignored by merchants.
and so. everything favoured the main merchants

.. and a layer above that in the hierarchy of centralisation
any change of the rules isnt done by AI self forming code. its wrote by devs.
and if devs have clustered themselves together under one software brand. and define any other software brand that offers any update challenge as a opposition.. well thats centralising too
if any code changes only occur due to one software team.. its not good

..
users are just data store distributors. but have no power over the decisions of the blocks.
if users decide to reject blocks.. no on cares that node is just left lingering around at a lower block height..

however again. if a merchant rejects a block. then everyone that usually uses that merchant is affected. and if people want to continue using that merchant because its the main service.. people change their software to match the merchants preference

so if there was any base of community to watch for centralisation.. its the devs and the merchants
7954  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Doctor says mRNA vaccines “will kill most people” through heart failure on: July 21, 2021, 04:01:29 PM
The doctor said the blood clots were growing, after the vaccinations, and for no other reason. It's a bit of a ways to two years. Maybe in the next two months, the clots will dissipate, and he will be proven wrong. Maybe the moon astronauts walked on the only part of the moon that isn't made of green cheese.

the guy already said he wont find bloodclots after 7 days

so that debunks the 2 year thing

why 7 days..
because your liver does its normal job

everyone that gets bruise or a scratch or a injury has these microblood clots

learn some basic facts of life

READ THE LINKS

you lacking to read the links is YOUR problem

if you dont understand the processes shown in the links there is details in the links to contact those that done it..
so if you really want to know. all you have to do is read the links

avoiding reading it. avoiding learning. avoiding understanding is not proof that there is no info

For example, the person with the least amount of stake in the top ten approves. how is it? do you have?

imagine the top10 address richlists are
1   34xp4v.......  299,427 BTC
2   bc1qgd.......  178,011 BTC
3   1P5ZED......  116,620 BTC
4   37XuVS......  94,505 BTC
5   35hK24......  88,620 BTC
6   38Umu.......  85,064 BTC
7   1FeexV....... 79,957 BTC
8   3LYJfc........  73,601 BTC
9   bc1qa........  69,370 BTC
10   3Kzh9.......   65,502 BTC

becomes
1   34xp4v.......      233,427 BTC ->66k|
2   bc1qgd.......      178,011 BTC          v
3   1P5ZED......      116,620 BTC
4   37XuVS......      94,505 BTC

10  34xpNewkey... 66,000 BTC <-----|
11   3Kzh9.......     65,502 BTC
and all the number 1 needs to do is just be 1 satoshi higher than anyone that tries to replace him as 10

PoS was initially perceived as a fair way to get the little guys to get a chance of mining reward.
but then came syndicated stake (pooling stake) and now the little guys never get a chance

PoS is broke. but because only crap coins with no utility use it. no one is bothered to break it.
it only survives by its insignificance to not be worth trying to break
it just wont work on larger utility coins whereby there is actual competition and large value at stake
7957  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why aren't IP addresses and mac addresses used? on: July 21, 2021, 04:27:50 AM
"send to IP" was never where the output was an IP
the output was always a publickey(bitcoin address)

it was where instead of having a collection of IP connections to relay a transaction to the broader network. the software was have a feature to send a request to a specifc resipient to request a normal public key, sign the transaction with normal bitcoin key outputs.. and send to a specific IP instead of the standard multiple IP relay method

it was an idea. so that in addition to the signed transaction. a user can send other relevant data aswell such as receipt messages to the recipient direct and get messages back without having to disclose it to the network

it was about direct contact messages between payer and payee. not outputs that were IP
7958  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: July 21, 2021, 04:08:21 AM
funnier part is.. tash is using someone else quote
meaning tash cant even think up his own 'darkest realisation'

which then lends to the next funny part
tash thinks its a realisation and not just some lame thought that is not part of the real world

but as i summarised in my last post
idiots will think its part of their reality.. because they are sheep. following influencers like they are an authority

heres one for tash to ponder over
7959  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lawyer files lawsuit against US government for 45,000 vaccine deaths. on: July 21, 2021, 03:41:36 AM
people have searched for the 'lawsuit'
and.. results are
the lawsuit makes no mention of 45k deaths

it just asks for 3 things
1. dont vacinate the under 18's
2. dont vaccinate those who have already had covid
3. dont offer vaccines until the 'emergency use licence' is replaced with a proper use licence

then it has endless streams of pages of mis-information as his explanation for wanting the 3 stipulations

in short.. nonsense

7960  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Doctor says mRNA vaccines “will kill most people” through heart failure on: July 21, 2021, 03:21:02 AM
The point is the blood clots in the capillaries. They are increasing all the time. If you look at what the doctor says, he observed his patients for a period of time after the jab. The tiny clots are increasing in number, and maybe size. This will be a slow death for many people.

he said.. if you listen..
he done tests on people which he could only find increased natural microbloodclots in a small window of 4-7 days.. where by only less then 2-3rds had them

what you need to realise is that every time you get a bruise..
your gonna get these microbloodclots enough to measure
every time you get a scratch/cut your going to get micro blood clots enough to measure
every time you get any injury your going to get a micro blood clot enough to measure
every time you have a needle prick your going to get micro blood clots

its not something thats unique to a vaccine.

the amounts measurable in the d-dimer test are way way way below the bloodclot sizes that cause strokes/heart issues.. and they clear themselves up within a week.. even he admits that('have to test them within 4-7days')

and if your still unsure.. maybe look into the livers job of clearing out all microblood clots.
yep humans have for millions of years had their liver doing its normal job..

oh and the vaccine 99% stay around the injection site.. not 25%
a liver is not just for alcohol

..
any doctor blindly just diagnosing people as having heart failure simply because of a d'dimer test.. needs to lose their job
as its like saying 'we have a test that shows you had a paper cut. your heart is now going to fail"
'all minor injuries will destroy your heart'
'you cut your lip eating a thorny nettle. you now have heart failure'

sorry but no. micro bloodclots dont cause heart failure

real funny thing is badecker must have had a cut or scratch or a bruise at some point.. so now badecker thinks he has heart failure

and the second guy.. the middleaged man wearing a kids comic shirt(facepalm) just wanted to rant that his vaccine caused an immune response.. nothing drastic but just normal immune responses.. he was sure that no one told him the vaccine will trigger his immune system(facepalm) so he was utterly surprised that he felt his immune system working

.. why is it that idiots think that the immune system is not needed and advertise products to suppress the immune system. but then go about saying how the info they offer is all natural and about letting the immune system work
