badecker..
they already know the sequence of the virus. and they can see it does not have any characteristics of man made alterations (krispa)

so no man made 'gene editing'.

the sequences the wuhan lab have for all the corona viruses they have collated over the years are not a match for the covid strain
so again no proof has been found that the strain came from the lab

so while although the lab was doing stuff.. there is no linkage to a strain in the lab vs the wild strain in the wetmarket

.. i know i know you want to say lack of proof is not proof of the opposite.(typical conspiracy mindset)
.. but lack of proof also means you have nothing to prove your assertions
8342  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: May 27, 2021, 04:01:10 PM
when entering and walking around you are spreading your breath walking around a public space.... so masks are needed
when sat at a table your breath is more confined to one area and you are social distancing strangers by them not being at your table..  and the only people at your table are in your own social group. then masks are less needed

This is pseudo science bullshit. That's not what the science says. CDC says 15 minutes of contact "in totality" with an infected person within 6 feet is enough to put you in a high risk category for Covid.

well if your going to stand at the bar breathing over the barman for 15 minutes.. they want you to mask up
however if your sat at a table and they are doing table service where they come to you for your drinks for just 10 seconds they dont mind

common sense

if you are lingering around the common area for 30 seconds. and then another customer does the same.. it only takes 30 customers before that common area is a hotzone of 30 different breaths that may have it.

hense.. wear a mask as you walk in and pass the common area. and take off the mask once in the socially distanced tables

common sense

oh and if you dont like it. well its the landlord/bar owners freedom to chuck yo out the bar if you are putting his staff at risk due to your ignorance. so how about get some beers ordered in from the store. and stay home and live in your ignorance away from others.

the other option if you want to remain a numbskull. is that you have to have a stick up your nose and checked to see if you have it. meaning waiting around for 30 minutes before being let in..
.. now how upset would you be

so take the compromise. bars/restaurants dont owe you anything. they definitely dont want patrons that want to spread illness round on purpose(as you evidently want to achieve)
8343  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: May 27, 2021, 03:58:25 PM
runny nose is not a symptom of covid. but is a symptom of common flu..
maybe dont sit near a drafty door/window next time
8344  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: May 27, 2021, 11:40:00 AM
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to either devise or understand such a strategy.  Obviously a lot of the videos which are 'sent viral' by the big social media outfits are just that.

My primary source of information is thehighwire.com who did the basic thing...

FTFY.. now it makes more common sense
highwire as a SOCIAL MEDIA(not fact media) went around making videos

try to actually use factual sites not your silly social media sites

oh and some basic math and science..
it would require about 1gram of iron in close proximity to attract a magnet..
you would feel and know it if you had that amount of iron in that proximity to be atractive to a magnet

but it only requires licking a fridge magnet to make it stick to your arm.. heck even as a 10yo kid many decades ago i learned that trick when sticking a coin to someones forehead.
so if you cant even get the logic of the trick. your worse than a 10yo

this science proves the viral idiots are magnet lickers
8345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: May 27, 2021, 11:20:34 AM
you have really lost it now tvbcof

knowing how much you want to spread the virus. it was good idea to have him mask up to protect him from your family

maybe try to go back to highschool and learn some basic biology

an arm infection.. is not a lung infection..
so you thinking a vaccine can spread.. is idiotic on your part

but hey. if you are offended that someone approached you with a mask. it seems you are the one wanting to spread your smelly breath onto other people and get upset when people do things to not smell your stinky breath

seems you going soo deep down the lunacy path i predict your just one conspiracy quote away from going full shopping cart licker
8346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: May 27, 2021, 01:00:33 AM
i think eddie is just making up BS now.

i had to remind myself by checking his post history if he has ever stayed factual or just made silly conspiracy theories. and there it was clear as day he is a conspiracy theorist
soo many false posts by him that its now obvious he will make things up to be controversial

i bet he wont even dare link his hospitals website that says what he pretends their policy is
8347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: May 27, 2021, 12:12:44 AM
I mean, the simple answer is probably that your uncle had a cough or a raised temperature at some point in the last two weeks, but tvbcof jumps straight to zombie apocalypse. Roll Eyes
Another reason might be that Eddie’s uncle recently had exposure to someone infected with Covid, or Covid symptoms.

Both should be considered “unvaccinated” although the uncle will have some protection while he is waiting two weeks after his second shot.

its the same empty drama of
someone in hospital but they have protocols.
only one unsymptomatic visitor allowed in..

2 black woman turn up. thinking they should both be allowed in for whatever reason.
they are told they are both not allowed in.. and ofcourse they pull he race card.. thinking its some anti-black agenda.

um no.
single person. no symptoms is the policy.
being black or white or vaccinated or not does not change or workaround or loop hole the policy
8348  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: May 26, 2021, 08:40:15 PM
Okay, but then what do we know about the mutation rate for SARS-COV-2 then? Perhaps a lesser mutation rate than influenza (in fact, undoubtedly a lower mutation rate compared to influenza). If your concern is that someone might harbor the virus and cause a mutation, then look at the virus mutation rate and whether the vaccines can combat the variants. It's speculated that the mutation rate is low, and we know the vaccines are extremely effective against variants. So yeah, there might be a "chance" someone can be unvaxed and start to spread the virus, but is that chance something to reasonably worry about? Probably not. And even if the virus mutates, what do we know about the severity of the infection it might cause? Can it mutate to a lesser deadly form?

I know what you are saying, but variants aren't all doom and gloom.

covid mutation rate with a new strain of significance. new lineage every 2 weeks
influenza is less..
the reason influenza can be controlled is because influenza has less new strains of concern per season
but influenza is maped out over decades meaning they still have to monitor it and work out which prevelant strain to map

covid has more strains of significance because its new(novel) not common.. which means that strains of concern happen more often.

maybe a bit of research and math will help you.. try not to guess. try to spend a few minutes to research stuff

other factors include. the common flu has a incubation period(time until symptom) of 24-48hours because its common and so your body commonly knows its being invaded so your body reacts sooner. meaning you realise your sick sooner meaning you stay home sooner and not pass it around as much
this self isolation of having a sick day and staying in bed helps reduce the spread.

covid is not common it has not been around for decades so with a incubation period of upto 7 days before seeing a symptom you are breathing it onto people for many days before you realise you have it yourself. so it passes to more people. thus spreads more.

common sense. try it
8349  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: May 26, 2021, 08:19:04 PM
What I never understood about Covid guidelines was that if you are in a business, like a restaurant, you are required to wear your mask. But then you take your mask off while eating. You got a pub or a bar and you wear a mask, yet you take the mask off to sip a drink. What's the point?

simple logic..

when entering and walking around you are spreading your breath walking around a public space.... so masks are needed
when sat at a table your breath is more confined to one area and you are social distancing strangers by them not being at your table..  and the only people at your table are in your own social group. then masks are less needed

does it really require you to ask such basic common sense questions on a forum about bitcoin

come on.. atleast spend 5 minutes thinking about a common sense answer before posting your question.
it might surprise you that deep down if you took the time you might actually have worked out the answer for yourself.

try it next time

Mother, not vaccinated, they let her visit my grandmother..
Uncle, vaccinated, but vaccinated less than 2 weeks ago, they will not let him into the hospital at all
I mean, the simple answer is probably that your uncle had a cough or a raised temperature at some point in the last two weeks
I heard no story of them asking or him or him telling if he had a cough or fever recently..
No such conversation that I am aware of..
If it wasn't because of a recent cough, then perhaps they are simply easing restrictions somewhat by allowing one visitor per patient? In which case your mother is allowed as first visitor, your uncle isn't because they don't allow a second visitor.
But it's difficult to determine the reason without knowing the rules that that specific hospital has in place. The answer really is to phone the hospital and ask.

jumps straight to zombie apocalypse.
If popular culture has taught me anything, it's that it's more of a shuffle.
all valid points. apart from one
its more like knuckle dragging along with their feet behind them
many signs that those types of people drag their feet when it comes to many things

1990 'wont use a cell phone because radiowaves'
(later they use it)
2000 'wont use internet because spies'
(later they use it)
2010 'wont use social media because my public messages are public'
(later they use it)
2020 'wont take vaccine because needles and conspiracies'
(later they use it)
2030 'wont use EV cars because china'

...

If you get vaccinated, why does it matter if some other idiot doesn't want to get vaccinated and doesn't wear a mask?

because with 30% of people not vaccinated.
the virus will continue to spread/exist. and as it passes on it mutates
those mutations then outperform the effectiveness of he vaccine.
meaning eventually start back at stage one of having to develop a new vaccine against the latest strain

so its not fear of this seasons virus i am concerned of. its the lack of slowing down the spread via idiots.. where the idiots are the concern of a future varient
..

as for tash
nice photoshop.. shame you can never link direct source.. but here goes
https://wits.worldbank.org/trade/comtrade/en/country/ALL/year/2017/tradeflow/Exports/partner/WLD/nomen/h5/product/300215

https://wits.worldbank.org/trade/comtrade/en/country/ALL/year/2018/tradeflow/Exports/partner/WLD/product/902780

oh look the real site does not mention covid test kits

so let me guess tash went to the site right clicked the page. selected 'view page source' and edited the html  tags to put in his own titles and then screen shot his local browser copy of the edited page

not rocket science

magnetic vaccines debunked

https://youtu.be/7tY9E2Pmnq8?t=105

seems people are being influenced to lick things
like shopping carts.. bleach.. and now magnets
8352  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: May 26, 2021, 04:34:27 AM
Looks to me as though it is genuinely true that magnets do stick to some people's arms in some cases,

debunked
(time taken to find facts: 23 seconds)

https://youtu.be/7tY9E2Pmnq8?t=105

so.. heres the thing.. anti-vax people like to lick shopping cart handles.. and now lick magnets
mmm all that yummy bacteria on your fridge magnet must taste good

seems a pattern is emerging
so lets form a new conspiracy that conspiracy idiots cannot deny

the lower the IQ the conspiracy idiot is. the more likely thy are to lick random objects
maybe they have a brain disease caused by stuff they are told to lick by their influencer
maybe they are the guinea pigs of some experiment. .. how to damage as as many idiots as possible
other conspiracy theories include.
gather a list of easily plyable idiots by telling them to do things like lick shopping carts/magnets and gather in close proximity when there is a wild virus .. drink bleach and swallow light bulbs
if they are willing to do silly things that risk their health without a thought. then you can scam them into buying crappy products like herbal remedies and magnets and boxes of bleach powder to drink
8353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is new digital Gold on: May 26, 2021, 02:41:45 AM
people think bitcoins value is its 'spot price'
people think golds value is its 'spot price'

both are wrong
bitcoins/golds real value is mined price.

what people should do. is in their local area.
work out how much their electric price is..
calculate the 'mining profitability' based on the current hashrate vs the latest efficient mining rig costs

and use that as the bases of their value of bitcoin(the real value they could get bitcoin at if their circumstances permitted)

if you use those numbers you can see if the PRICE is way above that amount to be classed as speculatively hyped up(bubble).. or if the price is below the rate you could mine at. means its good value to just buy it

EG the $60k price was very speculatively hyped for majority of countries around the world
but $30k is good value for majority of countries around the world..

..
lets imagine everyone around the world could mine gold in their own back yard using a dinner spoon and a coffee filter for $2/oz .. then obviously a gold price of $1.8k is speculatively hyped up. and deserves to crash
to say $4
if it requires around the world excavators and diesel and sluice machines at say $1.1k
then $1.8k is high but not worthy of a crash to $4. but will correct its $1.8k down to say $1.3k at some point

8354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: S2F debunked? on: May 26, 2021, 01:48:12 AM
bitcoins are not mined in patterns of

              ___/
       ___/
___/

nor are bitcoins mined in random length step patterns of
__/                       <- how the mythical bitcoin s2f tries to display it
    ______/
   /
_/

this is how bitcoins supply is actually mined

the weird step grading of the mythical 'bitcoin S2F' is produced by adding in a 'bitcoin price average' which then tweaks the steps..
yes adding in price info makes the steps follow a general price line and step

thus its not a predictor..
it uses the price to cause a pattern that follows the price.
it does not predict the future. it just displays the past

remember.
bitcoins mined supply is a smooth curve. not a step with random length of flat and steps
the randomness of the flat and step length of 'bitcoins s2f' is produced by using price data to case the lines to fir near the price pattern. meaning its just displaying the price resembles the averaged price..
8355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting the FUD of PoW versus Po(Insert favorite word here)!! on: May 26, 2021, 01:19:48 AM
one last time
without fire.... no candles
but a caveman did not invent or contribute to candles

stop over selling someones involvement when they were not physically involved in bitcoins creation
adam back only heard about bitcoin after its creation.

remember.. inspiration is not the same as implementation

donald trump quotes many now dead presidents as trumps inspiration.. that does not mean those dead presidents were making the laws of the US in 2016-2020

there is no hashcash code implemented in bitcoin.

PoW is a candle.. not a cavemans bonfire

if you cant tell the difference between a bonfire and a candle. then thats an issue you need to sort out for yourself, along with

a car is not a wheelbarrow
a mp3 player is not a LP record player
a fibre cable is not a copper telegram cable
a laser printer is not a parchment printing press
a excavator/digger truck is not a pickaxe

remember inspiration is not invention or implementation

..
incase you dont get your own words. let me rephrase your words
'NSA implemented bitcoin' is what you are trying to say
because atleast NSA code (crytography) is in bitcoin.. unlike hashcash

but we all know NSA didnt implement bitcoin.. (well apart from you)
even nick szabo does not acclaim himself as someone that implemented bitcoin.
8356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk is getting boring! on: May 26, 2021, 01:01:16 AM
The very fact that he ended up "world's richest person"

anyone can copy elon musk to be on paper the richest person
stage one
realise elons riches are not based on money in the bank. but based on valuations of markets he created

stage two
realise the valuations of the markets he created are not backed dollar by dollar.

step three
create a premined altcoin of 1 trillion coins. and get some sap to publicly buy a single coin for $5
and instantly you are hoarding a market valued at a market cap of $5trillion

its cheap to become a multi trillionaire on paper.

..
the next bubble to burst is the stock market when investors realise these fiat markets are not worth the market cap valuations. because the market cap valuations are not based on any backed dollars per share/stock. they are based on current single share price multiplied by shares available.. much like step three
8357  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk is getting boring! on: May 25, 2021, 11:37:49 PM
apart from the fact that you made this topic [about elon] to complain about reading about topics made about elon. where your solution is.. 'create a separate topic about.. elon'
8358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 25, 2021, 06:09:55 PM
2. Stock to Flow Model
Apart from the Fear & Greed Index data, the Stock to Flow (S2F) Model, which generally predicts the movement of Bitcoin, also shows the same thing. The Stock to Flow predicts that the lower limit of the correction is $30,000
https://twitter.com/100trillionUSD/status/1396021832130744320

stock to flow DOES NOT PREDICT ANYTHING

one part of s2f is to merge in an average price.. and then compare that to the price
guess what there will always show a pattern because its price vs price comparison
the result is not predictive. its responsive

take out the 'average price' element' and whats left is nothing like what you feel is a prediction

the only reason there is a pattern of S2f vs price. is purely because s2f has a price element in it to cause the pattern

in short s2f is not a predictor and instead is a useless graph that makes idiots think they found some smart metric
they have not. they are being fooled
8359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is your electrical cost/kWh on: May 25, 2021, 12:53:29 AM
I live in california and the average teir without mining is .33/kWh. With mining it jumps to the .49/kWh. Ive just been informed that there are people in CA that are mining less then .2/kwh!! How is this possible? Is there a special program? What am i doing wrong?

your quoting residential rate

there are different rates
residential
commercial/retail
industrial
waste/excess

mining farms use industrial supply. but they cut deals to use the waste/excess supply thats normally not used. so they get good rates

if you are a high yield user(industrial scale) and you have a predictable utility.. you can purchase units of electric in bundles EG MWH per month

but if you are a home hobby miner.. you have to pay your residential rate
8360  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Transfer of Chinese miners to Iran on: May 25, 2021, 12:45:06 AM
"If a foreign investor can be present in the country, why are there various obstacles that our own people cannot enter the field of cryptocurrency mining?"

the answer is simple.
the 'investor' uses the industrial capacity. that can actually cope with high MW electric.
home hobbiests in iran will not get 3.25kw from their house wallsocket. so need to fiddle with their circuit breaker.
these things cause neighbourhood power cuts as its too much for residential capacitors

imagine a street of 10 houses. each with a 4kw capacitor. but each house only uses say 1kwh
the street can supply 40kwh but is only utilising ~10 normally

suddenly turning on just one s19 makes that street need to suddenly demand a 14kwh supply. which if the network is not set up means there can be some brownouts (dimming lights)
if the residential hobby miner has more asics running. it can get worse.
if there was someone with say 9 asics (29.25kwh) then if one of the houses suddenly wanted to boil some water whilst watching tv. that puts the whole street over the 40kwh limit for their usual household and asic draw.. causing a circuit break.. aka power outage

home users fiddling with their circuits to get more then 4kwh from within their property can cause issues not just for themselves. but their neighbours too
