I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days,
to be honest i do not see any altcoins surpassing bitcoin even with the current high transaction fees, those wont slow down its growth as it drifts away from all other alts wit potential of passing btc. big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
Big business moving funds to alts are probably not looking at the risk of investing in some alts but this is something temporary that will change when a solution to solve Bitcoin's scalability issues is found these investors will pump their money back into bitcoin. Otherwise alts bring competition which is good for bitcoin to unite developers on new network implementations to make it full featured. |

Yeah, it is rising, but i dont really think there is a future in Bitcoin.
I beg to differ with you on this point because the bitcoin price surging is self justifying and how much bitcoin will continue to be part of our lives now and in the future and it implies their is a greater market demand for the currency which keeps pushing its price to the moon It was the first attempt, but now, other coins have way better features, specific at their field of operations. You can get better anonimity with Monero, better transaction times with some other coins etc. So i guess BTC is just a way for the masses to find out about the blockchain, and the first one there. It will continue to rise, because is being used frequently as a gateway Fiat -> BTC -> Altcoins
I do agree when it comes to exhibiting certain features bitcoin does fall short only because it was made for general-purpose audience unlike other alts with a specific use but still remains the favorite for many of us. |

I was just thinking about the problems of transparency and accountability in crowd funding and or p2p lending. Not sure if this has been discussed before.
If an individual chooses to support a crowd funding campaign (equity based or pledge) or they want to invest using p2p lending to earn interest (debt based), the investor can conduct their prior due diligence and later see the end result, but there is still the big problem of seeing where/how their money is being spent between point A and B.

Bitcoin isn't a career, it's a payment method, store of value and network for cryptographic proof/blockchain systems.
No one should be treating it like a get-rich-quick scheme, instead it makes way for an economy just like fiat currency does or even like gold does to some degree. If it was to get returns quickly it wouldn't be much different to a Ponzi.
correct bitcoin is used as a medium of payment and not a career path... bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies do open an opportunity for lots of careers especially in cyber security and generally the technology sector |

My worst moment so far was when I was betting 8way parlay bets during Euro 2016. Guess what? I got everything right, but the very last match was wrong. I can't remember now exactly what it was. I can blame Iceland or Portugal for my loss. It was a parlay with something like cumulative 150 or more odds  Hehe, you remind me to my bad result from a parlay. Couple months ago I made a parlay that contains 9 games with an odds @74.23. 8 games was correct and only one game that made my parlay failed. And the worse part is, a team with the lowest odds made that parlay lost. It's Manchester United when Zlatan Ibrahimovic failed to make a goal from a penalty shot. bitcoin difficulties and some increased fees will eat u.
increased fees should scream good business for miners especially that there is a recommended floor price(fee) of 0.0001btc which has changed for some time and wont be reduced anytime soon maybe not until the price goes 5fold but better mine altcoins for maximsed profits |
