1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 07:15:06 PM
I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping.
Depending on which country we come from, we the people are the government and if we feel bitcoin can econmically change the affairs of the country.....all that will be needed is voicing out our suport for the digital currency.

Quote
What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

its not about anonymity that they consider as a threat but losing 'control' of how the government receives money.
And allowing people to freely  use it  can some how  guarantee low collection of revenues at the end of it.
1503  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got a random deposit of 0.0025 Btc on: April 15, 2017, 05:28:47 PM
Someone must have mistakenly sent it to your address. Oh well, lucky you, and unfortunate to the one who sent it wrongly. Hope those coins go to a right person. Don't waste it on gambling. Cheesy It might be small but it still has a value. Cheesy Cheesy

how can someone send bitcoin to a wrong address, it is not like account number that you change a number for example changing 2 to 3 and goes to someone else! you have to actually have the address to send to it!
i do not see this as a random  deposit  either, and what is the posibility of misplacing one or two characters that it willl land in someone elses  account? There is a high chance you actively use your yobit account and somebody must have paid you twice or simply a copy and paste error from the good samaritan

1505  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 15, 2017, 03:11:53 PM
I really wonder this. I never clicked a signature ad and am wondering if it works for gambling sites. I need to be enlightened in this topic, because it looks like a waste of money to me.
Believe me, they are working just fine, even better than some people might expect.

You don't need to click every signature. It is enough that you see them, that way you'll learn name of the service sig is promoting.
From my experience I can tell you: I discussed many times new or interesting service I found via signatures.
I learned about many casinos, promotions, ICO project or services that way. The mere fact that they are around is enough.

Yeah, people tend to remember the product or service they see in the ads that makes them subconsciously choose that product for their own use. Come to think of it, I used a lot of services I have seen here on the forum just because I see them on people's signatures and avatar.

That is the power of Advertisement because people buy that product only which they are seeing around them as no one remembers everything. If it was not worthy then signature campaign wont be the main object of earning in this forum.

Precisely, what we see  is what we get to try.....and signature campaigns help us keep tabs that the company is still operational
and in good standing order.
The longer the sigs run the more the make that impresion  that they are growing with the crypto community here and its safe to play with them.

Quote
In my sense the main success of this forum's one reason is signature campaign, that is why lot of users are joining it to earn while learning about crypto currency
I dont know if we can call it success but sigs do drive traffic here , thats one thing for sure.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 14, 2017, 11:59:38 PM
in fact, there are many ways you can do to get bitcoin. things I've ever done is:
1. faucet. yes, the faucet is where I get bitcoin.
2. trading. yes, you've done it.
 3. The signature campaign. This is my favorite because we do not have to worry about losing bitcoin.
4. gambling. I do not recommend it because it has a great risk
These are the most common ways to earn bitcoin but in reality... most people look to bitcoin as a source of free money and are not interested in putting extra hard work for that extra dollar or satoshi. We need a change of mindset.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: HSBC Bank Helped Terrorists, Iran, Drug Cartels & Russians Launder Money on: April 14, 2017, 02:44:42 PM
this goes to show that fiat is the most used source of financing for Terrorists or drug lords or generally illegal activities

because if such colossal sums of money went through an exchange they wouldn't go unnoticed  and we would have seen bitcoin price surge!
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attract you to make deposit in a casino ? on: April 14, 2017, 10:19:48 AM
Design (6) Simple and well organized interface is good enough for me to play on a casino
Games (8 ) if i can find a sportsbook with a huge market of games to bet on its a thumbs from me and simply makes betting easy
Promotions (5 ) Not a fan of promotions because this is the source of problems which leads to accounts been closed or funds confiscated
Live support (5 ) As long as support can at least respond to inquires in less than 3-6 hours i think i can stick around

All casinos need to clearly state their terms of service to their players to avoid any breach from either parties!

Thank You.

Split the prize money and reward at least 3 people,or this promotion will fail to reach 250 participants.this make no sense for having only 1 winner.I thought this is a promotion but seems like a lottery ticket, more than 1 winner is always encourage people to participate.
Splitting the prize is a welcome idea but why not split it among 5 people or so...1 winner makes the contest unattractive

Entry submitted, all the best to all.
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $2000? because of Trump? on: April 14, 2017, 08:19:18 AM
Bitcoin has really started this year off wild!
I was reading that it might hit $2000 by end of year, because of Trump’s ‘spending binge’ and dollar rally.

What do you guys think?

Bitcoin could reach that amount by its own merits it does not need anything or anyone to reach that level
bitcoin does need something like mass demand to influence its price rather than a solo effort to break the $2000 barrier

Quote
I do not know if its going to happen this year but there is no doubt at some point bitcoin will be worth 2000 dollars.

its bound to happen all it takes is something to ignite the bull run and a high demand to a low supply.

At this point i do not think he would want his political business to clash with money matters/(cryptocurrency matters) which are on a world stage , his a smart business man Cool
1511  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 14, 2017, 07:57:45 AM
The reason we should not go "All In" in any promising investment plan is to cushion any loss

or should be taken as a contingency plan to allow us to divert funds into other projects we feel can reward with a good return and avoid losing everything in one bad investment project.  .
1512  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which goods on: April 13, 2017, 09:37:51 PM
if the goods most inexpensive and very salable in the market chalky many posts,
when there's my gold will buy it for the long term future.

Gold haven't found in the trading list with bitcoin acceptance. I believe but based on one's own interest can find a right person who has such plans of selling gold for bitcoin through our forum. But the riskiest part is the exchange of gold in the form of commodity using an escrow.

Yah many problems will arise if selling gold in the forum is established such as people selling counterfeit/stolen ones, We need an escrow who knows a lot about gold, taxes and in some countries you have to declare your ownership. The best way is still to buy from the official stores.

I not understand what are u talk to say!

He's asking what items do people want to buy here in the forum. There's just a little grammatical error. Its not that difficult to undersdand particularly if you read at least all replies on page 1 and the latest page
Yeah it's been asked in what good users have interest to buy using bitcoin directly. In this case digital goods were much preferred than other products available offline. Even in online stores we cannot get the products that we look for, only we can get limited products that were listed in exchange for bitcoin.
digital goods and services are the most sought after for users trying to spend their btc, things like the VPNs and some legit gift cards would be good
maybe a reliable source of mobile topups will also be of great interest to many

1515  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best cloud mining to invest on: April 13, 2017, 09:53:21 AM
Am not so much into cloud mining maybe because of how long it takes to make any noticeable profits

but i bought some miner hash for the sake of it which i use on https://pow8.com and so far no problems whatsoever and my withdraws are processed in good time

maybe a good alternative to invest in.
1516  Other / Meta / Re: Likes and dislikes on Bitcointalk? on: April 12, 2017, 01:04:53 PM
I am also against the idea of like and dislike button. If you like someone's post simply thank him by quoting his post.Like and dislike button will begin unnecessary competition between users to get more likes to their posts.
It may also encourage buying or selling likes like fb likes are sold.
There is no particular point into quoting someone when you like his post, while you have nothing to say that is pointed at when he or the OP stated.
in this particular case a simple like button could be handy in expressing support for the piece of information shared in a fast manner as compared to typing your support

Quote
Other than that, it is indeed a bad thing to allow people to like or  dislike posts. In the same way that polls here are useless, that directly goes up for likes and dislikes as well.
totally agree, having people dislike posts will deter members from sharing valuable opinions or ideas and will also be as good as been negative(red) tagged if you have so many dislikes Roll Eyes

1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: April 11, 2017, 08:58:51 PM
i dont know if this is a good idea...dont you think having this day some how contradicts with the  basic principles of cryptocurrencies like anonymity, besides we already have the bitcoin pizza day which a very few of us commemorate.....what difference will this day have?

1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 11, 2017, 10:47:32 AM
i have recently read the whole words in the front page but still haven't register yet and seems it promising but i would looking forward to see next update for this exchange however low fees, speed of transactions seems these words good for me
I don't think low fees and fast transaction doesn't fit for each other. Better if this site makes an of whether how much fees to be putted so that the higher the fees, the faster the transaction.

this is debatable on whether applying high tx fees will resullt in faster transactions, as it will depend on how much demand is coming through .

1520  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 💳 Virtual VISA Card 💵 0.50$ 🚀 Instant delivery 🅿️ PayPal-compatible on: April 10, 2017, 07:41:11 PM
snip
I tried your service created a virtual visa card but when I tried to link it with paypal it does not allow me to link.Paypal ask me that it will deduct a small amount and I will have to enter deducted amount in my paypal account. Now how can I do it with your card?

If the only problem you are facing is having the amount deducted then you should deposit a small amount, say 3$-4$ in the virtual card then allow PayPal to take the amount from your card, the amount taken should be visible in your transaction list in your Coinizy account, you just type it to confirm that you control that card and the link should be successful. The amount they took will go back to the card after doing so.

maybe adding an extra dollar should do the trick
as there might be some conversion fees to be paid depending on which paypal currency your account is registered in
or paypal is registering the card in great British pound (GBP) denomination.
