1201  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 14, 2023, 06:46:24 AM
Seems have misunderstanding with justbit.io KYC procedure, there are not required with KYC for deposit only and you need KYC for withdrawing, check back with Justbit.io policy about withdrawing fund on second points there are clearly explain about the rule for withdrawing,

"To withdraw funds from the account, the User is required to complete identity verification through KYC procedure at his User’s Account".

You can upload your ID and back later after KYC approving then try to withdraw will process or not, if have problem after success KYC but not ability for withdrawing you can back later here and complaint about Justbit.io policy.

https://justbit.io/pl/policy/payment/

They stated that KYC is required according to the piece of text and link you provided, yet if you initiate a session with their live chat it will confirm that you don't need kyc meanwhile they're requesting for kyc and that's what is confusing us and also the reason why Op is mad at the casino, it's more like they baited him.
Yes, and as a gambler who don't want to pass KYC and just play on casinos. However, it there is some confusion and it seems that it's very misleading for them, then I don't know, I might not trust that casino.

The problem is that when you have a good winnings and wanted to withdraw that and you can't because the casino without your knowledge, will ask for a KYC. So going to be a dilemma whether we want to pass KYC or not and let that winnings like just being confiscated by them.

1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: April 13, 2023, 11:50:28 AM
^ Fury was an actual boxer though. Nate Diaz is not. He’s most skilled in jiu jitsu which he will not be able to use. This is a step back for Jake, but it will be a more entertaining fight. Nate Diaz has so much scar tissue in his face he’s going to be bleeding like a stuck pig by the end of the second round. The pictures will be epic. I’m sure it’ll be the biggest payday of his life too.
But Nate has a good stand up skills, so he might not be or have the boxing skills like Fury, but he could still be a good threat as the fight is going to be boxing. But yeah, two brandish and two loud mouth, what can we ask for more in this fight.

Kudos to Fury for going after Nate Diaz, most likely he was offered millions so it's could be the biggest payday for him and so he can't refuse this fight.
So this is going to be fun and entertaining fight and for sure, there are fans willing to buy this hype.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 13, 2023, 11:31:03 AM

I have no expectations from Casimero's opponent because he is an unknown fighter, but I am more interested in how Casimero will deliver an impressive win. However, as you said, Casimero should not be careless and underestimate his opponent. If the result is not in his favor, it could potentially affect his future journey. Remember that he wants to be a champion again, and the only way for that to happen is if he keeps winning fights.

That's true, but let's hope that Nghitumbwa will not be a different fighter in the ring. His records indicate that he is an aggressive fighter, but sometimes boxers change their style when they face a superior opponent. This fight is going to be entertaining, and we are expecting to see Casimero face a challenging fight. So, Nghitumbwa better live up to that challenge.
I hope he does not change his style radically, after all the moment he does he is already admitting that he cannot beat his opponent with his main style and strength, and if that is the case then how can he expect to beat Casimero if he will need to use a completely different strategy than what he usually uses? Now some minor adjustments are fine, but a radical adjustment spells doom for most boxers, no matter how skilled and talented they are.
Whatever strategy Nghitumbwa chooses to use, it is his choice. However, he needs to understand that he is facing an ex-champion who has not lost in a championship fight in an action-packed fight when he became popular. Casimero is not an easy opponent, and this is a special fight for Nghitumbwa as Casimero is a world-class boxer while he is still trying to become one.
Usually though this type of fighters are going all in if they are going to face a banger like Casimero. So I will assume that Nghitumbwa wil not play soft in this fight. And we try his best to go toe to toe with Casimero and test the champion if he can take his power and vice versa.

But the problem with fighters who go on this route are going to be knockout out being knock down. So it's just a matter on what he will take the power of Casimero. If he taste and knows that he can take it then it's going to be war.
1205  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 13, 2023, 10:18:45 AM
If you look at it, this casino site is centralized, not decentralized. In fact, this has been explained by other friends in this thread. Please visit the link provided by friends. It leads to the rules and requirements at the casino. At any time, the casino has the right to ask for your KYC. basically you are not asked for KYC because you use crypto to gamble, this is just a communication error so it could be you who don't really know which casino is KYC free or not or you don't really read the rules and casino requirements as a whole.

If you really want to withdraw your money and they ask for it, you should just give it, after all, it's only KYC and actually it won't hurt you as long as you play honestly there, in my opinion there's no problem, the casino might just carry out procedures or your account is under suspicion, so my advice just do KYC unless they give you a hard time, feel free to share your progress again in this thread  Wink
Maybe the problem is that the OP doesn't want to pass his full information on this casino. And that's why he/she was attracted on it to play on that platform because of the "promise" of no KYC in the beginning and it's screaming on their page.

But after some winnings and OP wanted to withdraw, suddenly the casinos ask for a KYC.

So obviously there is a issue between the OP and the platform as there could be some misleading statements from the gambling site itself.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you withdraw bitcoin this week? on: April 13, 2023, 10:06:58 AM
I'm sured people who invest on bitcoin early March will likely get increase as of last month the price was lower compared to ending. Early March it around $23,400 but today is up to $28,600. I know impatient investors will grab the hot cake and run out of the fry pan Lol. But still hoping to use the fry pan again. This little pump shows the possibility of huge pump coming. If you're holding hold tiet and if you don't have and if wish to buy is still good ideas. Also if you withdraw is your money enjoy.

Keep the record that it will pump no matter the delay.
And after you post this, the price is really taking off, as the price goes above $30k, and yeah, maybe there are investors who sold or not. But for those who are looking for long term profit, I doubt that they might even thinking of selling their bitcoin at $30k. If there is a price that I can think of selling some of my stash, if will be in the next bull run and probably in the 6 digits.

Although the price could be expensive for the majority of us, we can still buy some with our capital.

Just accumulate as much BTC as we can. It's like just a year before the next block halving. So take advantage of the current price.
1207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where next for Bitcoin: $20K or $50K? on: April 12, 2023, 09:27:51 AM
I don't think there is any chance of $20k happening. That was well into the bottom of the bear market and bear market is over so it won't ever go down there again unless in the near future there is some sort of horribly traumatic event for the market. So $20k I'd put at <1% chance of ever happening again just cuz nothing is ever 0%. So definitely $50k, but it won't be soon. $50k could possibly happen by end of the year, and almost certainly in the next 12 months.
So the probably the worst scenario is $20k, and next is $25k which I think is going to be the biggest support line is the current sentiments that we have right now. But it might take a lot of going to $50k, maybe several corrections along the way, and possible that it could be breach at the end of 2nd quarter or start of the first quarter.

And after that $50k then we are all set for the bitcoin halving early next year. I still on the fence if we can hit a new all time high this year. The cycle is that the ATH will be after the halving. But who knows, if there is FTX collapse that change the course of the prices then maybe we will see something new as well.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 12, 2023, 09:11:14 AM
We might see a fight between Inoue and Donaire in the future, but this time it won't be Naoya. Donaire needs to win his championship fight to become a champion again, and if he does, there's a chance for a unification fight. I'm confident that Donaire will not go down against Takuma Inoue since he doesn't have the same level of skills and power as his brother.
Yeah high likely and it's true Takuma is really different with Naoya, I think Naoya have trained Takuma to become a better boxer, but based on the record they're different. Takuma biggest fight was against Nordine Oubaali and it's an one sided match where Oubaali dominating Takuma.

Takuma haven't fight outside from Japan too, so he will be under pressure if he fight outside from Japan.
Yes, he is very different from his brother, but as of late, I've seen glimpse of his recent fight and there are some flashes of Naoya too. However, he is too cocky as compare to his brother and maybe this will be his downturn just saying.

As for the Marlon Tapales upset, he riding high on a 3 fight winning streak, including the eliminator as who is going to face Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

You can call it upset, but for me Tapales is somewhat on his prime right now, it might be very short for him but as least he has taken advantage of and his next fight could really define his career.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 12, 2023, 08:21:19 AM

I also don't want to give a finality of opinion on this fight as most of the time, it is the preparation that matters once inside the ring.
As both boxers are studying the weaknesses and strengths of each other, they will come up with a good plan or good training plan.
But we will only see if their plans and strategies will work once they are already fighting, because some plans can be scrape if it won't work on their opponent.
Over-all, this fight is gaining hype from boxing fans, so the likelihood of selling out gate tickets would be fast. But for most of us, we can just always wait for the live streaming.
Garcia is stil the underdog on this fight. So that would be a good motivation for him to train harder. The very reason why Davis should not take this fight for granted.

Being an underdog can be used as your motivation as you wanted to prove something, especially in the eyes of the fans. With how they throw trash talks together and you are facing the champ, inside him he really wanted to bring him down and be on top. Let see if how both of them will execute all the plan and preparation inside the ring.

Both can surprise the fans. Even Tank got the favor from the bookies, as he was the champ here, but Garcia can also bring something to upset him if the timing is right.

Garcia probably hasn't felt like an underdog before, as he has been mostly the favorite in his previous fights, if not all. So it's not a big deal to him. He will prove that he deserves bigger respect, and the only way to do that is to beat Tank Davis. Everyone is anticipating this big fight as it is the biggest fight that will happen this year so far.
I guess every fighter will have to go this experienced, become a underdog, but then win the fight. So everyone is on the hands of Ryan Garcia now, even if he is the underdog and for sure he knows this, but he has been clamoring for this fight even before the pandemic and he calls out Tank because he wanted to get the respect by beating him.

So regardless of him being the underdog, doesn't matter for him. In his might this is a winnable fight. By the way he goes to the media and saying that he will knockout Tank Davis.

He always loves to talk, but that's another thing to prove. Even a newcomer can say that they KO any champ, something that we usually hear when there's an upcoming fight. There are many trash talks that will be published to bring the attention of the fans. Two things can happen. Either he will prove those words or it will backfire on him and he will be the one that will going to be KO.

Knowing Davis, he loves playing and he will take the ring as his playground. Anything is possible to happen. Let see how both fighters will showcase their skills and capabilities.
Yes, but Ryan has proven himself that he can back up his trash talking. So we will see, the fight is nearing, he is posting a lot on social media and this two have a lot of interviews as well going on public.

@bbc.reporter - yeah old trick and Alex still fall for it, although he thought that he got Izzy already, boom, two quick punch and it was over.

Not sure who will do that strategy, both loves to fight in the middle. But if there is one, then it should be Ryan staying in the corner and try to time Davis.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 08:00:12 AM
Well, we almost got 2 surprise home losses, almost.

Too bad Timberwolfes couldn't pull it off even though they were leading by as many as 15 in the middle of the 3rd and 10 at the beginning of the 4th. Really bad game from Edwards. Sad

Atlanta winning in Miami was rather surprising. Miami dug a deep hole in the first half where they couldn't get out of. Lucky for Miami they have another shot vs the Raptors or the Bull. If they face the Raptors this might be the exit for them, against the Bulls I think they will advance.

Excited for tomorrow to see the other 2 games. Anything can happen!
Yeah, it was an upset by the Hawks, but they really played solid games in the road. They build a huge lead, and when the Heat tries to make a comeback, in the 3rd and in the 4th, cutting the lead to 6-7, they will have their own run and push the lead to 10-11 points and then the Heat gets tired. No spectacular games from Jimmy Butler, it was all Hero and Lowry. Most likely we will see huge changes in the Miami Heat next season, maybe it's time for them to trade their pieces like Bam Adebayo as a bait.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 09:43:38 PM

In the past few weeks, most cryptocurrencies have been doing great: Bitcoin price increasing from below $20,000 to above $28,000, ETH following to increase to the level of above $18,000, same as some other big name altcoins. Even the new listed ARB has enjoyed an ATH around $1.3(if I am not wrong), and Dogecoin price was suddenly reaching an ATH at almost $0.1 after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo as Dogecoin. However, the market correction happened after the little hype endured a short period. What can we conclude from all these market fluctuation ? Until the next bull market comes, is this hype considered over now ? Please let me know your thoughts. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.
You spoke too soon though, bitcoin is now over $30k if you haven't check the price in the last 24 hours.  And all major altcoins have also increased because of the trickle effect of bitcoin.

So the moral lesson here is that the market is very volatile, when you thought that there is no hype as we have been trading sideways for the past 10 days, comes this huge uptick in the price due the news of the CPI report coming in the next couple of days the the feds are going to cut the rate or it could be the same as last month, which means the the economy is improving.

1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking the biggest limit since match price push on: April 11, 2023, 07:44:03 PM
Since the beginning of the year 2023, bitcoin has been on a steady but slow uptrend movement with a lot of resistance along the way and in the month of February struggle all through to attain and sustain a $23,000+ price but in mid-match to the ending of the same month Bitcoin finally, break that barrier to reach around $27,000-$28,000 with wide wind of resistance that keeps BTC price at that level for a long while.

Put seeing that bitcoin has pushed ahead of that resistance during the esther holiday to reach as high as $29,300+ which is a significant uptrend that will leave many to speculate what price bitcoin is going to reach in its current price trend, your speculation of the current market condition are all welcomed.
It has been around 10 to 11 days since Bitcoin has been just stable between the $27k to $28k range and hasn't either gone down or gone up, it has finally broken above the resistance around $29,300 and going up, as a lot of speculators have been predicting that the price will reach around $35k within the month of April, it finally seems it might be true.

What I think is that it wouldn't be a very big pump at this point, if we see a lot of buying pressure in the markets following this uptrend, we might see that pushing the price to maybe at most $32k before it will start dropping again.
Yes, at least 10 days of not moving, and trading sideways around the $28k price range. Now, this is the one that we are waiting for, breaking that whole numbers of $30k, and it seems it's going to continue. See the price at $30,500 the highest so far and everyone is very bullish once again.

Uptrend, we are looking at $32k'ish before we finally got tired and bulls exhausted. But let's see, we know that when the market is very bullish because of positive news, it's hard to stop it. And the good thing is that we have two weeks more this month, still plenty of days to go to the next barrier.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 11, 2023, 07:22:51 PM

They also acquired Gobert to help their team on the defensive side, and they were ready to play the twin towers but then this thing happened. Gobert did not understand how important his role was to the team, and he messed up their opportunity to make the playoffs. So with what happened, I doubt the team would still keep him.
Would be nice if Wolves win their games without Gobert and then start losing them, once he is back. That would mess him and the team up so much. It would be hilarious.

Nah, I’m looking forward to watching them get smashed tonight. I think the Lakers are going to be firing on all cylinders and they just picked up a point guard for the purpose of shutting down Ja Morant so they must feel pretty confident about tonight. I’ll definitely be watching.

The playoffs (ins) are here! Happy days ahead.
It's gonna be a fun series, with Ja vs Lebron and the whole team involved in trash talking. And without Gobert that can give the Wolves like 10+ rebounds, they Lakers will be happy about that. But the Wolves are still a very dangerous team so they shouldn't underestimate them, Edwards for sure will want this game, so I expect him to go like 30 points and try to make it as very close game.

They are the underdog 4:1 and -6.5 handicap. And there are reports that KAT is going to play as well.

How do you think the game 2048 is suitable for gambling in casinos? Before I started playing in casinos, in my free time I played 2048, I somehow think that in casinos this game will be a success, the game should be with a cashout.  What do you think about it? Huh

Oh ok, so this is a skill base game, so I doubt that this will be in casino floors for long time. It's business for this casinos, and if they can't make money and if they don't have the edge then they will not let this kind of games.

As others have said, it's very easy for individuals who are brainy enough. We have seen alot of attempts to cheat casino and they are not successful. So do you think that they will simply allow this game and have individuals win every time? Not gonna happen in the long run.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 11, 2023, 05:58:28 PM
I think every gambler has experienced this at one point, of course we always want to be in control of our emotions, but during long runs of playing, sooner or later you are going to tilt. The best way to deal with it is just to stop, and take a break easy as that.

Not just in games like poker, but even if you do sports betting, you are also going to experienced it. You become reckless, out of control and out of the norm you bet on teams or look for great odds. But at the back of your mind, you know that is is the worst teams to bet. So again, if you have this sign, it's not good to continue gambling as you are obviously going to lose.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 08, 2023, 12:36:35 AM
The Suns are expected to rest Booker, Durant, Paul, & Ayton tonight against the Lakers. This is a game the Lakers desperately need to win and with the Suns resting all their guys, they should be able to get it done. A shame because this would have been one hell of a matchup. I guess I don’t have to be sad anymore that I won’t be able to watch the game.

Still, maybe an opportunity to bet on the Lakers with some decent odds.
The Bucks is already resting Giannis and the rest of the starters against the Memphis.

While Memphis is going full force in this game with Ja Morant still in the floor in the first quarter. So far it's close, but I wouldn't be surprised if Memphis will take this game in the 4th quarter.

So time for this bench warmers to see action, gonna be good for them as they could be needed in playoffs.

Odds is 9.5/-9.5 in this game.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 08, 2023, 12:23:37 AM
Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

Not unless Nonito Donaire will lose this fight against Santiago, I will still stick to my personal belief that Donaire can stll dominate the bantamweight division despite his age now that Inoue is now out of the said division. Seeing the current rankings at the 122 across all boxing organizations, it's only Jason Moloney for can give a tough fight to Donaire.
I agree, Donaire even at his age, is going to be one of the biggest punchers in this division and most likely hard to beat byt those rank players. Only Moloney will have a chance by he doesn't want to fight Donaire yet, as you have said he might be waiting for Donaire to age more.

But seems Moloney still recognize Donaire's power and try to delay the time they will face soon by backing on the fight. It will result for them to meet each other at the possible unification fight if they will be both become champion but at that time will happened, Donaire is aging more.
We might see this fight down the road, there has been a huge shakeup in Probellum, the once Bob Arum is accusing that is being run by Irish Mafia and that's why he refused to work with them with Richard Schaeffer and Donaire was still under that promotional company.

Now that Richard is out of Probellum, he brings himself Donaire and Stanionis. So maybe if both will win their fight, we might see the unification fight in the future.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 07, 2023, 11:47:02 PM
^ It seems that Stevenson didn't go anything hard to make the cut in this division as he was below the limit. And as everyone is expecting how this fight will be, it could be one sided beating for the the Japanese.

He seems to be smiling though, not sure how to read this, could be he is confident that he can shock the world with a win here, or doesn't know the magnitude of this fight and will just go on with the motions against Shakur.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Champions prediction. on: April 07, 2023, 08:10:53 AM
I have the GSW and voted for them. Yes, they are not that complete this season, but they still managed to survived and land on 6th place right now. I thought that they are going to be eliminated, but then when Steph comes back from injuries, he bring the team to above .500 and now are able to maintain it.

They still have Wiggins to comeback, and the last time we heard, he will not be back in the regular season, but it doesn't mean he won't be playing in the playoff. And with GPII back in the lineup, it will be very difficult to whoever teams are going to face them in the playoff, and in a series. Sacramento is a good team no doubt, but if by chance they are match against the Warriors in the playoff, it will be very difficult for them.
