1221  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: April 07, 2023, 07:57:43 AM
I think a bull run can happen at any time, it doesn't matter that the current price looks lower than before, but as long as the whales are raging it will make it easy for the price to skyrocket, as happened before, in 2017 the price started the year under $ 1000 but the end of the year once touched $ 19k.

It's a cycle though, bulls and bear market, so in any case there will be a bull run, a final catalyst will be the block halving which is still still a year from now. We can look at bitcoin's previous history, like you have said, in 2017, it was under $1k and then goes off to $19k, that is a huge growth. But you can really compare it's massive growth every bull cycle though, because it's going to be very difficult to hit that multiplier. The growth will somewhat slow down. That's why the prediction might be a conservative 2x so maybe $120k in the next bull run, not that bad assuming we all have save a lot of bitcoin in this period or bear market.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 07, 2023, 04:22:19 AM
Meanwhile, Josh Taylor's rival Jack Catterall just signed with Matchroom Boxing. He is looking forward to shaking the dust off being also inactive for a year after delayed negotiations and cancellations to the supposed rematch with Josh Taylor. He also believed Teofimo Lopez will win over Josh. Although his prediction might be biased, he might be annoyed with Josh knowing most of the public thought he won the belts and then comes his inactivity after hoping for the rematch to happen.
Good, I think at this point, whether US or London based fighters, Matchroom has done so much with it's fighter and we have to commend Eddie Hearn. Not sure if I heard it that he will be fighting Prograis next and the schedule is May 27? or his opponent is not name yet?

Josh Taylor on the other hand seemed to be too confident despite his inactivity and poor performance in his last fight against Catterall. I can feel that he is belittling Teofimo Lopez's ability to win as he is predicting the big possibility of him taking out Teofimo in the early rounds.
Most likely his confident is based on the fact that he has face tougher opponents in the 140 lbs, like Ramirez, Prograis and even Catterall himself. And Teo has no business in 140 lbs. And base on Teo's fight, I don't think he has carry his power to this new division, just saying.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 07, 2023, 03:12:02 AM
Yes, I'm with the majority here, yes there are a lot of trusted casino's, those platform that we have played for years already and has a lot of competitions and even whales who join.

But there's no way for us to verify has transparent they are as far as giving those bonuses or rewards to it's players. Only they have the numbers and no one can verify if they really gave that huge amount of money to the winners or not. And with that, the only thing we can do is to accept what they said base on face value alone.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 07, 2023, 02:31:50 AM
I just caught the tail end of the game between the Spurs vs Portland. San Antonio has a huge 13-0 round late in the game and take the lead from the Trailblazers. And they just hold on that lead, 4 players with 20 plus or more for the Spurs and then Tre Jones, continuing his good stats, with 18 points and 10 assists.

Heat winning against the Sixers, but then again, as I check the minutes of Joel Embiid, he just played 30 minutes and Harden 28 minutes, so maybe they just decided to just let this game be taken away from them by the Miami Heat and not risk of injuries from both of their star players.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 06, 2023, 05:45:01 AM
True, we don't want to preempt things again, and I wouldn't be excited yet, until we really make the official announcement about this fight as we have seen what happen on the first fight, or supposedly negotiations that fell because Crawford is saying that it's all the fault of Al Haymon.

On the other hand, we haven't heard any updates on the Thurman vs Spence fight, and maybe this is one reason though.

They want to make it quiet and not to leaked anything on the media just yet. So crossing my fingers here that they are going to make this fight because we have been waiting for this.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 06, 2023, 05:00:15 AM
Yeah right, better to wait for whatever it's awaits him after winning the fight, let Maloney push his way to challenge or ask for the fight as long as Donaire will get decent earnings then so be it.

Taking care of his finances while there's still plenty of time for him is the best decision for the Donaire,
win the fight and take a good amount of offer next.
Yeah but most of us will be a lot happier if he will going to win this fight. We all know donaire from his wins to his losses, though sometimes I am thinking that maybe he should rest, but then if he still can fight other boxers and his team is still able to improve his stats before then no problem at all. I just say that he is already a winner to us, a champion whether he wins or he lose Donaire is Donaire.

Just the same with all those legends who continue to bring pride even they are no longer on their primes but still manage to win a fight and become a champ it's really a good way of showing love to the sports.

On Donaire's end, it's another edge if he will take the belt I mean if he become a champion again then
expect to have another money fight before he will retire his gloves right?

I don't think Donaire will retire as long as he can still make money. As long as he remains a champion, he will see it as an opportunity to earn more before retiring. Most boxers retire when they can no longer win and sell their fights, but Donaire's journey may be different since he is still considered a dominant fighter despite his age.
I might have to agree but there is a thin line between making money and risking your health. Floyd for example has this philosophy of "health comes first, and truly blessed to be one of the legend in boxing who didn't get hurt in his career because of his good defense.

On the other hand, Donaire has his fair share of losses and just like in his last fight with Inoue, he was knockout cold.

So him and his wife should make the right decision as to continue or not as it might take a toll on him later in life, just saying. No amount of money can pay if your body and mind will be affected by boxing when Donaire age.
1227  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommend your preffered slot games or game provider on: April 06, 2023, 04:26:10 AM
Recently, I fell in love with Wanted Dead or A Wild by Hacksaw gaming. I mean it's very volatile but it seems that I'm lucky hitting bonus with good wins, 2x in a row already. So I might as well go with this game and continue my winning streak.

My former favorite is Anubis by the same gaming provider. And for sure many of us here loves what Hacksaw is developing and giving us the user experience. Of course, there are a lot of gaming providers with different themes and I might as well try them also. But for now, or at least if I'm going to continue winning, then I will stick to Wanted Dead or A Wild.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another cross chain Hack on: April 06, 2023, 04:00:25 AM
I guess in the beginning when DEFI has hype, everyone wants to get on board on it and try to make money. But it seems it has been the target of most criminals as well, whether state sponsored or just individuals or groups who want to make money by exploiting it.

The thing though is that it's not big of a hack and Allbridge says that they are going to compensate those who lost their money in this hacked.

And for some strange reasons, the hackers are returning 1500 BNB, and remaining will be tag as white bounty compensation to the hackers.

You can follow them on their official twitter account, https://twitter.com/Allbridge_io
1229  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 06, 2023, 03:33:33 AM
Next stop 30k - 32k range.  That's double the price of where it was during the lows of November.  Leeez gooo!

Lol, loving the poll this time. No option for bearish  Grin

I think you're expectations are quite accurate. Even some bears who are expecting sub $15K after anticipating a move to $30 to $23K before further downside, which says a lot.

Personally I "only" voted bullish, as opposed to super/uber bullish, as notably this year so far we have seen a substantial gain in Jan, followed by consolidation in Feb, followed by a another considerable gain in Mar. So while I think it's likely to re-test $30K level that was previous support, I also expect it is likely to act as some form of resistance (at least initially) leading to more of a consolidation style month similar to February.

Rofl yeah, nope, no bearish options this time.  Cheesy

And asking for a sub 15k move now is just a pipe dream at this point in the game.  Something reeeaally bad has to happen somewhere to spook the whole market out in a yuuuge way.  Like how the pandemic happened and brought everything down.  I'm not discounting anything but with the way things are, everything is looking good.  So far...
Yeah, probably we have seen the the lowest low for this bear market at $15,500 and the new lows perhaps is $20k++.

But what are the chance though that we might have a black swan event this year? hmm...

Although at the start of the week this month there is no sudden movement of the price, we are still stuck in the $28k'ish and we might be in the sideway pattern. Let's just hope that this month might be another positive growth, if not, no major retracement again. And who knows maybe we can see that $30k price that everyone is looking for.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 06, 2023, 03:12:42 AM
This Lakers versus Clippers game is off to a pretty crazy start. The Lakers are down 15 to 3 and have looked terrible out there. Westbrook hit an open 3… Not off to the best start. Most of the Lakers shots have been blocked and AD is already crying for fouls. This could be a long game. Hopefully this is the worst of it for the Lake Show.
I still believe that the Lakers will win this game, and I see this as an opportunity to place a live bet on them. The LA ML odds are currently profitable, assuming they win. However, it's still early, and many things could happen in the game. One thing is for sure, though - it's going to be a fun game.

Currently they are down in the first half, 71-52. Kahwi and Westbrook are leading the way for the Clippers.

But another 24 minutes for us to see if the Lakers can turn this game around. This is a must win for both, but more on the Lakers side to really carry themselves in the playoff and not wait for the outcome of other games to decide their faith.

Lebron started slow, and it was Austin Reaves again and D'Lo for the Lakers.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 05, 2023, 08:54:04 PM

I don't see logic in your analysis that since both Tank and Garcia have similar powerful punches, it is impossible for the fight to finish early. On the contrary, it is that exact reason why the fight will probably finish early.

Perhaps the fight won't end early since both boxers are likely to respect each other and not engage in an all-out war from the beginning. Despite their claims of being able to knock each other down easily, both boxers are capable of delivering powerful punches. However, I believe that once they are in the ring, they will feel the strength of their opponent and become more cautious, avoiding a solid punch that could potentially end the fight.

In my opinion, the fight could still end early if it finishes within the first six rounds.
Tank said that he respect Ryan's power, so he might not engage early and be cautious, just like in his fight against Romero. Rolly has some power and Tank knows that, that's why he try to have distance and just let Rolly come in to him until that one mistake and then boom, Rolly got knock out.

So both will be cautious here for sure, it's not going to be like they are going toe to toe. This two are smart to do that early on, maybe a couple of rounds of feeling each other, getting the distance and touching each other. That's how I see this fight and maybe in the latter rounds they will go at each other and look for a knock out win.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 05, 2023, 08:42:37 PM

Good day, everyone I want to share a little idea about gambling, and the idea is about WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GAMBLE? On my schedule I mostly gamble in the afternoon 🔅 but letter I was with my friends and we were discussing the best time for gambling so many people says is evening then also checked google and it was the same answer then I also want to share the view with you guys
https://www.askgamblers.com/gambling-news/blog/best-time-to-play-slots/
So now the evening is the best time to gamble because of your daily activities
I personally don't have any time schedule on my gambling sessions, I can play it any time on the day but usually my mind is telling me to just play during evening where it is really quite and no one is disturbing me. I don't really track or taken an interest in putting a strict time schedule on playing gambling. I also think that time isn't important in doing gambling especially if the games you are playing is not real people. As long as I'm in a light mood or I doesn't have anything to do, That's the time that I like doing some gambling.
Yeah, with what we got right now, smart phones and internet connection anywhere, we can gamble as much as we want. I will share a personal experience wherein me and some friends where just chilling in some coffee shops and I decided to just play some slots of my phone. Fortunately for him I was able to double my capital in short amount of time. My point is that if you are lucky, then there's not best time to play. I might agree that some plays at night to relax before they go to bed. But if I feel like playing, I will do it anytime.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprise back!!!! on: April 04, 2023, 11:16:44 AM
Obviously, he still has some influence on Doge for this matter, but the thing is how long can he influence the price?

Will it go down again after the hype has gone? We've seen this a lot from the past so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case. Everyone is jumping on board, but the one that is going to make money here is the one who is the first one to ride and then exit when the price is still up. And the one that will suffer the most is those who think that this price action is real and that the price will go on parabolic rise again because of Elon, just saying. So just be careful as this looks like artificial to me pump to me.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (Bitcoin payment success) 3-month statistics on: April 04, 2023, 09:45:57 AM
Offering a 10% discount for customers are good in my opinion, I mean it will incentivized them to at least used their bitcoin, or if they are not familiar with it, then maybe they will get themselves involved on it and who knows, they could be a investor in the future.

So yeah, it everything is going very well in your end accepting bitcoin as payment then just continue with it.

In the future it could really be a win-win situation as well specially if you are just going to hold on that bitcoin and just sell in the next bull run.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 04, 2023, 07:34:53 AM
Yes, instead of making these fights easier to avoid conflicts in politics, Crawford's got the opposite outcome because his decision to leave the stable of Bob Arum seems to become his biggest nightmare now because he's not getting any good deals after that. I don't know what's the plan of Crawford because the last rumor months back was that he might sign under Eddie Hearn but nothing happened until now.

As far as I remember, Crawford being under the shadow of Top Rank, he is always actively fighting but the only problem is, Crawford didn't get what he wants of fighting a top-ranked boxer which he wants for a long time. Since he parted ways with Bob, not just he ends up fighting a non-popular boxer but also not active much in the ring compared to his Top Rank days.

Now that wee the outcome of his decision, does his decision to leave Arum, a good choice or not?

Although it may not seem like a good decision at the moment, he's still in his prime and could potentially negotiate bigger fights in the future. I'm sure he has no regrets about his decision since staying wouldn't have made him happy. It was a gamble that hasn't paid off yet, but as I mentioned earlier, there's still plenty of time for him to succeed.
In all fairness to Bob, he did try to protect Crawford that time and made him a undisputed champion at 140 lbs. So he did good while Crawford was still under him. But Bob tells the public one time that Crawford is not a PPV star and that might hurt Crawford, pushing him to leave Bob Arum for good.

But after that, he still didn't get the fight he wanted, so we all think that it might be a bad move for him to negotiate with Spence and PBC without any manager and promoter because that's what happen as Haymon wanted to take advantage of that by low balling Crawford.

In the case of Spence though, it seems that they are the one avoiding the biggest fight at 147 lbs and instead now chasing Thurman.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 04, 2023, 07:02:42 AM
Take note that the Mavericks need to win all of their remaining games, then after that, it will all depends on the other teams whether they will enter or not. Just winning 3 straight games is hard for the Mavericks already.

It's possible for the Mavericks to win against the Kings, Bulls, and Spurs, but it's unlikely that they'll win all three matches. The Kings and Bulls have been playing well compared to the Mavericks, so winning against them will be a challenge. Even if the Mavericks win all three matches, they still have to contend with other teams competing for a play-in spot who will also be fighting hard to win. In my opinion, the Mavericks' chances at the moment are very low, and they have a tough road ahead of them.

Kings will be very difficult to beat unless Sacramento will take a dive on this game, but I doubt that they will as they want to win as well to get that momentum entering the playoff because this is the first time that they will be in after many years. The Bulls is inconsistent, but in any night, Zach Lavine and DeRozan could be the most formidable duo in the league, and if that is the case, then it's going to be a problem for the Mavs. Spurs, is at the tail end of the standing, and this is the only game that I can think of that Mavs have a good chance to win, but it won't be enough for them.

Before the Kyrie trade, the Mavericks had a promising record, but it ultimately led to disappointment, and it seems unlikely that they will make it to the playoffs this season. As for the Suns, who were previously upset by the Mavericks in the Western Semi-Finals, they may feel relieved to avoid facing them this year.

It's better to accept the reality that the Mavericks are unlikely to achieve a miraculous turnaround, rather than continuing to hold onto unrealistic expectations.
That's why it's a gruelling 82 games per games in the regular season, because teams are really going to be tested here and it really takes a lot to become a champion. As we can see that there are a lot of emotions for teams winning the trophy because they know it takes a lot of hard work. As what you have said, they did good early prior to the trade and not their chances are slim to make it this year.

Unlike last year wherein Luka was just toying with everyone including the Suns who they beat them easy. But not this year, in fairness to the Mavs, there are also teams that started hot like Portland or even Utah but with injuries, they are going to be eliminated again.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 04, 2023, 06:32:49 AM
[Casimero is aware that there's still a lot of work to be done to reach the top, but he continues to fight in his own style, entertaining his fans in the process. As he continues to dominate, it's not surprising that he'll gain even more followers in the future.
And to remind us about how he can be an entertaining fighter, here is the full fight against Akaho.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEJrBcfoqyQ
It didn't end well as the fight was stopped by the referee due to a punch in the nape. But I really doubt it was hit, it's a slip. Then, Akaho saw the referee pointing at the nape so he got the idea to use his acting skills.
Upon watching it over and over, obviously, he was ready to protect himself again with the barrage of punches that Quadro Alas had thrown at him. But, he claimed until the end that he was hurt even though he was given enough time to rest.

A change in style might happen, and Casimero might avoid those kinds of punches while the opponent's head is down to prevent a "no contest". But, we all know he has that power punch that could end the fight as quickly as possible and I know Akaho felt it that's why he didn't go back to fighting him.
Any boxer who respects Casimero's power will be cautious in the fight. Despite not throwing many punches, his accurate timing and ability to land one punch could turn the fight around. I can't forget his impressive victory over Zolani Tete, who underestimated Casimero and already scheduled his next fight against Inoue. Casimero's TKO resulted in the downfall of Tete's career.
Casimero has been underestimated by many boxers and Tete didn't learn from the past. Casimero has traveled a lot and fought champions in their homes soil and bet them and there are even riots during his fight.

What I'm trying to say is that he is battle tested already and with that, if you did underestimate him like what Tete did, you have to pay the price. And just like that, Tete was not the same anymore after his fight with Casimero before the way he was knockout was brutal.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 04, 2023, 05:21:15 AM
Inoue is unlikely to move down to bantamweight again, creating a great opportunity for anyone to become a champion in this division.

Agreed, Inoue is unlikely to return to the bantamweight division as he has already dominated it and become an undisputed champion. With his exceptional boxing skills, he is more likely to achieve greater success in a higher division, where there is also more money to be made. Inoue is still pushing his limits and has a long career ahead of him. His focus should be on winning every fight and following in the footsteps of legends like Pacquiao, who has achieved both success and wealth through their boxing careers.
I don't know why the issue of him going down in weight in bantamweight has surface, even if he losses to Fulton, he should stick to super bantamweight as his body can't make it to 118 lbs and it will just cause him more problems in his health if he decided to go down again.

So I do agree that if he really wanted to become another legend like Manny, he should be moving up in weight and chasing those belts. However, personally, I don't see him moving further, maybe 126 lbs in the future, but that's going to be very hard unless his body will still continue to grow or he just add more pounds, but it's different if you can't bring you power to the new weight class that he is targeting.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: April 01, 2023, 01:50:16 AM
Not easy, as Fulton is heavier than all those previous fights that he has before, but knowing him, he will adjust and he will try to showcase everything to make things happened in his favor.

Naoya Inoue already considered and recognized Stephen Fulton as the big opponent he will face in his career right now. Therefore, expect that Inoue will obviously adjust once they meet each other in the ring. Likewise, Fulton of course will do the same.

Both boxers are champions in their respective league. They truly know how to adjust and it's just that, who will have the better adjustment.

I'm looking forward to a close fight with these champions and that's more entertaining to watch instead of a landslide victory.
Yes, this is still a big challenge for Inoue, no matter what we say because this is a new division for him and he will be facing the best champion at 122 lbs. And that's why maybe Inoue really pushing himself in this training and got injured.

This could be the closest fight after the 1st Nonito match for Inoue.

Fulton might be the underdog, but sure enough, he knows it and is willing to stake all the belts on the line just to face one of the biggest puncher in lower division and test himself.
1240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 01, 2023, 01:35:49 AM
Ouch, Anthony Davis is down again in the 3rd quarter against the Wolves. Hopefully it's not that serious, otherwise if they lost this game in the road, it could be over for the team.

They are just down though by 6 points against the Wolves, and Lebron should start now if they wanted to win if Davis is not able to come back.

Lebron just 10 points, while Davis is the leading scoring for the Lakers before that unfortunate injury.

Edit: AD is back on the floor.
