Well I'll answer the question that obviously you don't have to be an attorney to answer A person commits theft of property if, with intent to deprive the owner of property, the person knowingly obtains or exercises control over the property without the owner's effective consent. So obviously, if you jack someone's wallet.dat, and they didn't tell you you could have it, you just committed the crime of theft. You're also going to be liable in tort for conversion.

Just added two new gpus to another rig, and now when I am trying to run cgminer it hangs at [2012-11-16 18:42:56] Started cgminer 2.9.3
Crashed with signal 11! Will attempt to restart [2012-11-16 18:43:29] Started cgminer 2.9.3
Thoughts? I can't find any information on what signal 11 means. Segmentation fault first hit in a Google search tells you that. https://encrypted.google.com/search?as_q=Crashed%20with%20signal%2011! Yes. You must have missed the second post where I pointed out I discovered what the cause was. Don't be a dick, you get dick back. Well idiot you said ram was the problem in second post so if you want to be smart ass at least get your facts straight. lol which is what often leads to a segmentation fault according to the link you posted. "idiot" lol Come on man, be civil. No reason to be a jerk when someone asks a question.

Since I can't delete the thread, I'll post the solution I discovered. Don't try to run 4 GPUs off of 512MB of RAM. What a dumbass I can be sometimes...

The cheapest I have seen was a wire dish rack from Target. Something like $15 and you are done.
If I can find the thread again I will edit.
I thought about that, and then just zip tying the cards to it. But I'm concerned about the metal of the rack hitting the cards.
|
|
|
I made a frame out of wood... I then drilled holes on each side of the wood using rubber covered garden stakes to hold up the cards... Give me a minute and I'll show you a picture.. How do you keep the cards from falling over? Are they stable just sitting there on that stake?

I need a quick cheap solution to mount 4 GPUS on extenders above the motherboard. Only requirements are that it is cheap and stable. One GPU must remain in the motherboard, so any kind of rack over the motherboard must be atleast tall enough to pass over that one.
I'm a visual guy so pictures would be great. All I've found searching the forum are a bunch of custom made aluminum type setups. Not really looking to put that much time or effort into this. Something out of wood or something that is already premade would be preferable.

Looks like tmac doesn't plan on manning up.
Most scumbags never do. He's probably found some kind of way to rationalize to himself what he's doing to you guys is ok.

I can't believe he thinks 50% refund is acceptable.
Let's try this example out: I order a new TV from Walmart.com for $1,200. I get an email that says, "We regret to inform you that our supplier has not delivered the television to us in accordance with our contract terms, and we therefore will not be sending it to you. Please accept a refund of $600. Thanks for choosing Walmart.com!"
Good luck with that.

I got that working, but I also found a GUI for it, but the GUI just sits there when opened. It doesn't seem to find any connections to start downloading the blockchain from.
Seed nodes were down for a while today, which means any new node would not be able to connect to the network (0 connections). Now they are operational. That was it. I have it up and running now. Thanks! Here's my address: PKZ69LSD2rLToPrCPxZ5GXRtJ44bJ5nyCM

I never use the GUI, so I'm no help. Someone here knows though. Are you getting info when you run ppcoind getinfo? Yep I am. But it says "Warning: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download or notify developers of the issue." How do I know it is downloading the blockchain?

"Error could not connect to server". What should I put in the config file to fix this?
Oh, you have to run ppcoind.exe first, located in the daemon directory. Then open up another command prompt, navigate to the daemon directory, then you should be good to run ppcoind commands. I got that working, but I also found a GUI for it, but the GUI just sits there when opened. It doesn't seem to find any connections to start downloading the blockchain from.

Ok, explain to me how to set this up. I downloaded it, installed it. Ran the Daemon, and I get a message that says you have to set a password. I created the config file from the wiki, but do I have to use a specific username and password? After just typing in a random username and password, now the Daemon doesn't do anything.
Now open up Another command prompt, navigate to the daemon path and you'll be able to run ppcoind commands. ppcoind getinfo ppcoind backupwallet ppcoind getnewaddress etc. "Error could not connect to server". What should I put in the config file to fix this?

How do you intend to go about the pumping the water out part? The pressure the plumbing has to withstand is directly related to the depth. You'd need to hire some pretty rare to come by people to help you out with that.... My engineer, Pierre, is on top of that, and he assures me that it's not a concern. Without disclosing too much of MDM LLC's secrets, the water from the top of the well will be pumped out first. Our competition is probably planning on pumping the water from the bottom of the well first, but their attempt will be futile. We at MDM LLC believe they are planning on using the LadyByte Pump, whereas we will be using the NaNa Pump. So far, here is the list of people who have pre-ordered our diamonds:- Al the Alpaca (1-3" & 2-3.5")
- Nikki (7-4")
- Bitcoin100 (1-2")
- QUarkk (17-5.03")
- SunnnnnnY (3-201mm & 5-5")
- IamBOb (14-2")
All our diamonds can be traded in, given full credit for an upgrade at any time. MD Mines_Bruno
