162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There Is No War Against Bitcoin! Stop The Fud! on: July 29, 2019, 07:15:24 AM
Some people can't take criticism. These people think that every criticism is a declaration of war against them. Wake up. We cannot improve without any criticism. Bitcoin needs some regulation in order to move forward. That is not war. It is just a bitter pill to make things better.
163  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 09, 2019, 01:34:30 AM
I have question is anyone case like this, I have a friend who have level 2 account in coins.ph and yesterday his sim card lost and that sim card are connected to the coins.ph and the problem now they open his account and they regustered only number not including email so now they will not able to open his account in coins.ph and I suggested to contact the coins.ph what do you think the requirements to recover his account or any chances or don't have?

Is your sim card from philippine provider? If so, it is very easy to have your sim card replaced as long as the sim is just recently lost. If it made any transactions within the month, text, call or load, then just go your telco outlet and have them replace your sim. It is free.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook launching libracoin, what happen will 2020? on: June 28, 2019, 03:44:15 AM
2. The U.S. government has asked facebook to halt all developments of the coin until they've had a chance to look further into it.
This is just a small hurdle for facebook and I think they can overcome this. If Libra continues, it is a big exposure for cryptocurrency and blockchain. Hopefully, this will also have a positive effect on adoption to bitcoin.
165  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 27, 2019, 02:15:31 AM
Hayop talaga yan coins pro na yan after mag down from june 21 to  june 26 at finally nag up na today nag try ako mag transfer cash out  ng BTC ko from coins pro to my coins.ph wallet kahit anong amount maliit or malaking amount ayaw magpa transfer!!!!!

166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let me introduce "Ending Game" on: April 22, 2019, 04:12:56 PM
On a serious note, the odds of winning in the game that you suggested still seem pretty low which is why I am not really interested in what you are offering, but it is a good attempt nevertheless.

The odds of winning is 1% but the reward is x70. That is a very large profit actually if you chanced to win the game. I won this game a couple of times already. It is very popular to Filipino gamblers maybe because of it's high-risk high rewards characteristic and maybe because it is always more enjoyable to watch basketball games when you have a bet on it.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is no hard fork, will the real value of Bitcoin be higher now or lower on: April 22, 2019, 08:56:56 AM
If I remember it right, when BCH splits from BTC, the price of bitcoin went higher. The logic is, after claiming BCH, holders of BCH sold their coins to bitcoin thus pushing the price up. So even though there is a split of support, the fork also gave purchasing power to those who believe in bitcoin.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Trusted Managers Don't Accept Red Trusted Participants on: April 22, 2019, 07:54:39 AM
Isn't it unfair?

Most of the bounty managers has red trust but they never accept red trusted participants mostly on their signature campaign. If ico making this decision so why are they hiring a red trusted manager?

I disagree. It is absolutely fair.
It is the ICO owner's decision to hire a red tagged Campaign Manager. That is fair. They have all the right to hire anyone they chose to manage their bounty campaign.
It is the Campaign Manager's decision not to hire red tagged bounty campaigners. That is fair. They have all the right to reject anyone they deemed not fit for their bounty campaign.
You also have a choice. You have the right not to join a campaign managed by a red tagged manager for your own safety.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 22, 2019, 05:39:03 AM
Unexpected money like bonuses and the like, I spend it for my family like to eat out together or have a vacation somewhere. This money can be used that way because it is not part of my budget.

But my gambling money, though I only gamble minimal, comes from my regular earnings -- from my job. It is included in my weekly budget so I will not overspend in gambling. I set a fixed amount I can use for dice or poker and if I used it up, I wait for the next payroll to have some funds again.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 22, 2019, 04:55:51 AM
We used to host card games in our house when I was young. We invite friends and relatives during weekends to play poker and other card games in our house. It is usually long hours, from the afternoon until dawn the next day. It is just a way to get together and enjoy good company. I think if you have self-control, you will not get addicted to it. We turned out okay.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with greed whilst trading? on: April 22, 2019, 01:59:03 AM
How do you deal with this particular emotion in trading?
I'm trying to be as mindful as possible - but i get really excited.. and start getting reckless.

It seems that you are new to trading that is why you are still making those types of mistakes. There is no short cut in doing this. There is no way you can totally remove it but you can lessen the occurrence of it.

There is no replacement for practice and experience. You just need to trade more and learn from all your mistakes. Eventually, you will get more objective on your trades and you will separate greed and emotions from it. The more experience you have the better you get.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money you use for gambling? Crypto gambling market profiling survey! on: April 21, 2019, 11:56:14 PM
1. I always limit my gambling to $50 and below. I always feel that if I spend more, it would be irresponsible.

2. The most I won is 0.01 btc in sports betting but that was when bitcoin is still below 1k.

3. Mostly bitcoin, sometimes eth on dice.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: April 21, 2019, 10:36:27 PM
Here in my area, finding spiders and making them fight is a kid's play. They go out in groups at night to find spiders in farm areas and forest. But it is not uncommon for adults to bet on them. They buy spiders from children and they make bet on whose spider will win in a fight. This is just a seasonal event for us. Only during the time when spiders are abundant.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 21, 2019, 10:14:00 PM
There is still a large demand for fiat to crypto exchange that is why centralized exchanges still dominate crypto space.

There is also a lack of knowledge in using dex exchanges. Another one is trusting your keys to dex exchanges. There is fear since you are submitting your keys to dex, your funds can be easily stolen.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamato to be revealed " claims on: April 21, 2019, 09:25:55 AM
The real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been a hot topic ever since bitcoin became familiar. A lot had already claimed they were Satoshi but no one ever proved it.

I am also interested in knowing who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is.

If Mcafee can shed a light on who he is, then I am happy to hear it. But of course, we must consider this as just a publicity stunt and I doubt he really knows anything. We should scrutinize every information he will reveal.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: April 20, 2019, 11:14:10 PM
I have read a lot of threads the past few days but infortunately I was trying to look upon discussions that talk about cock fighting. Why? because this event is one of the old gambling activities way back and up to present. I do not know if it is known by other country but for sure in Mexico, Spain and Philippines cock fighting is widely spread. Sometimes it is legal but sometimes men operated it illegal.

Does you country know about this cock fight betting?

this kind of gambling is really popular in the Philippines and I already seen a lot of people who are taking care a plenty of Rooster and then taking it to the cock fighting arena like they are undergoing a boxing fight. this is very widespread especially in the provincial areas and most of them are not legally operating.
Indeed mate and sometimes they took care of those chickens as family members, with vitamins and foods shelters and if they can put some clothings i think they will do lol

But this was illegally operated thats why many of the place are being raid from time to time by authority

This is what I do not understand with gamblers. Why do they go to illegal cock fights when there is obviously an arena in every town in the Philippines? And you do not pay entrance fees if you bring a fighting cock with you. I go to cock fights but only on legal ones. I do not want to be arrested on illegal cock fights, too risky.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto was known in person on: April 20, 2019, 09:15:51 PM
It is a known fact that no one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is in person and no one can point at who he is.
This made me to wonder that, if he was known and seen physically, would cryptocurrency survive till now.

Satoshi not revealing himself has nothing to do with the success of cryptocurrency and bitcoin. The success of bitcoin was all about the technology behind it.

If you were him, what would you have done? Huh

I would also have done the same. At the early days of bitcoin, it is only used at black market in the deep web, so it is kindy illegal. The government will be interest to it. It is logical to make yourself anonymous.
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you see cryptocurrency 10 years from now? on: April 20, 2019, 09:53:04 AM
Hey guys,

I was watching some documentaries the other day about our monetary system. I'm convinced that crypto currency is the future money and fiat currency will be erase in the future. How long do you think can it take?

Thanks!

They will  co-exist in my opinion. Fiat will always have the backing of the government. Maybe crypto will replace all online payment methods but it will not replace fiat. The government will protect it. And there will be regulations and laws that will limit the use of crypto, so it will be hard to erase fiat.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Track and Trace on: April 20, 2019, 06:41:12 AM
It is the call of the exchanges. They are supposed to be secure against hackers. If they need outside operators to check and enhance their security, then so be it. Exchanges should be proactive and not allow weak spot on their securitY to deter hackers. Anyway, an unsecure exchange will die anyway because users will withdraw from them.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: April 20, 2019, 02:33:18 AM
If it is just poker, I guess yes. The game does require skills you will ultimately hone over time and practice. There still a hint of luck you need because it's a deck of cards being dealt. But since there is bluff, poker face and reading your opponents, you can minimize the effect of luck on your success. There are poker players winning tournaments through bluffs.
