121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 22, 2019, 04:27:58 PM
Currently, ETH price is at 127$. ETH has not done that well this year. And the altcoin market is very much dependent on the ETH price. So what value are you expecting during the upcoming year? Is there any possibility of recovery or it will keep continuing to go down?

I am hoping that the price of ETH will recover when the price of bitcoin recovers late in 2020. I do not know if switching to pos will help but I hope it does. The price has plummeted so deep now and if the upgrade does nothing then I have no hope for ETH.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 21, 2019, 05:26:56 PM
So, how if there is no significant move on Bitcoin price in the upcoming halving? What is your plan as a Bitcoin holder?

First, I think the pattern will hold true. There will be a significant move in the price of bitcoin after the halving.

But if the opposite happens, then the plan is to continue what I have always been doing. Earn bitcoins, spend some and save the most for HODLING. There will be another halving after this one, and if the price doesn't move to our favor on this one, maybe on the next it will.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 21, 2019, 04:24:30 PM
Aim small, miss small.

That should be your goal right now. The market makes small swings right now. You can still profit from that. But if your goal is to win big, then you have to wait longer. Take advantage of the small swings then even now, making a profit will not be that hard.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 10 (Celebrating the 10th Week!) on: December 21, 2019, 02:56:46 PM
What if,...
Before this year ends you finally get to win a Jackpot then suddenly a big disaster came up out of nowhere then brings an outrage for people outside. Would you care to enjoy your winnings for yourself? Or be a good human being to help to save others.

If you're going to be a good fellow human, what's the first thing you'll gonna do?

I just won a jackpot. That means a lot of money and there nothing better than sharing your blessings to everyone, especially those who need it the most. Of course, I will help but  I will not donate them all that prize. I will give maybe half of it for donation and the other half I will enjoy for myself.

What if,... you're just watching someone on a Casino that suddenly keeps winning for a streak then after that he notice you and gave some money as a tip for his luck. Would you use the money he gave you to try your luck on that game (or any game you like) ? Or just keep the money for yourself for a good cause?

So tell me, what's gonna be...

It is free money. I will use it to have some fun. I do not think that "someone" intends that money to be used for a good cause since we are in a casino. I am sure he expects me to use it in the casino and enjoy it, so that is what I am gonna do.

128  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Selling on: December 18, 2019, 07:18:26 AM
Be greedy when others are fearful.

NOt actually greedy but wiser. We all know that Bitcoin is a good investment that is why it is wise to put some money in while everyone else is pulling it out.

We cannot pinpoint the real and direct reason why the price is tanking. But it happened before in bitcoin and the price bounces back. That could be the same scenario right now.

130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 16, 2019, 01:54:32 PM
Give me conclusive data that bitcoin is being controlled by the Chinese, then I will believe you. Otherwise, stop creating a fuss over nothing. If you want to support Ethereum, do so. You do not have to force your opinion to anyone because no one is forcing their opinion to you.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rally of $9,000 ain’t enough? on: December 16, 2019, 06:17:51 AM
I think he is right, we need more than that to reverse this bear run and restart the bull trend. We reached 12K this year and that was not enough to have a sustained bull run. It is still nosediving after that. Slowly but surely going down.
132  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Stock market: P127B lost after Duterte hits water firms on: December 14, 2019, 06:30:54 PM
[1] This is actually more of a local issue. This is an issue that directly affects the people within Metro Manila and some nearby towns and cities, not the entire archipelago. Sometimes, I ask myself why the news on our national televisions, radio stations, and newspapers are all about this issue when the rest of Philippines is not connected to it.

I think PRRD already answered this in one of his speeches. It is not a local issue when it concerns the money of the whole country.

[2] The contracts of the two concessionaires involved were signed in 1997 and, because of the recent cancellation, will end on 2022. There is not much to improve here because they are close to their end. There were onerous provisions but these provisions have been in effect for more than 20 years already. What is the point of changing them today when it is only a few years time before the contract will expire?
The concern does not end in this contract alone. There are more and will be more contracts that the governments will make to private companies, PPP. If this goes unpunished, this onerous contract can repeat on other partnerships the governments will enter with private companies.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Anniversary from the bottom 3k and 2 years from the 20k top on: December 14, 2019, 05:27:12 PM
Those dates are just a coincidence in my opinion.

In the past week, there is no large price movement. I expect it to be the same until Dec 15/16. I do not see a spike that will resemble to the ATH or a dump for the 3k low.

137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Week (Dec 22-28) on: December 10, 2019, 01:20:00 PM
There is no concrete data that will support your claim.

If there will be a Bitcoin week, it should be celebrated during the week the Genesis block solved. It is like the birth of bitcoin. SO I recommend it to be celebrated during January 3 - 9.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is over? Shut up! on: December 08, 2019, 11:17:42 PM
Many people keep saying bounty is over, the bounty has no future! I just want to say shut up your mouth, please. You know nothing. Bounty is still good, a regular bounty hunter is still earning good money from it. Just research this year. From the first month of this year, a regular bounty hunter got money from IRONX, VANTA, MiraCletele, Harmony, Coinhe, SERO, Tokoin, and so on. They are leading their life through bounty earnings. Bounty reward is not like before, you have to forget the golden time of it and try to use to with the present condition and keep doing good bounties. Good Luck Hunters.
It is good that bounty hunting is still working for you but you do not have to push your ideas to others. It is not every day that you will find a good bounty to work with. And actually, pushing bounty hunting is counter-productive to the remaining bounty hunters still making a profit from it. If bounty hunters grow on number again, it will become saturated again, will be less profitable and may be filled with scammers.

140  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 06, 2019, 03:19:40 PM
Yes it's a gamble and a stupid one at that.  If they're ending the campaign, would it kill them to just say that?  Why do participants have to play this guessing game with them as to whether they should continue or remove the signature?

I'm not dependent on these paltry yobit earnings for anything, as I participate just for the fun of earning some bitcoin and spending some time writing on bitcointalk.
You seem not to be having fun anymore since you're complaining. Just drop the signature. You will still have the same fun composing replies and posts without the hazzle of worrying if you're getting paid.

At the same time, yobit owes me something like 0.0042BTC and goddamit I want to claim it.  lol
That balance ain't going anywhere. Claim it when you see here that they are paying again. Have been a participant of the first yobit sig campaign and this is not a new issue.
