1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for esport? on: December 02, 2021, 02:24:55 PM
•Nitrogensports
•Cloudbet
•Onehash
•Sportsbet
•Playbetr
•Stake

I do recommend all of these since i do have experience on using up these bookies and i dont have
any problems.

I do recommend
-Nitrogen Sports
-Stake

Please do remember that the rules and regulations of betting in all the sites are different pertaining to the VPN usage as well. Some players have used VPN on Cloudbet and nothing happened but at the same time you have to check for the rules personally as well.

You are not allowed to use multiple accounts as well on Nitrogen. Please be careful and look for the countries they are working legally in.

https://www.google.com/search?q=vpn+in+nitrogen+betting&oq=vpn+in+nitrogen+betting&aqs=chrome..69i57j33i22i29i30l5.3564j0j9&client=ms-android-oppo-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
For example this particular player was using VPN and is now in this entire problem as well therefore you have to understand the rules and regulations for everything.

But all these sites mentioned here are good. But cloud bet I think banned players from US as well.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin allows tax evaders, Please pay attention.... on: December 02, 2021, 01:43:02 PM
Honestly in most countries you are paying higher taxes if you are holding bitcoins and at the same time you have to also realize that, it's more or so impossible to evade the taxes because most of the wallets now require KYC done which does mean that without KYC you would not be able to do anything else and the government would know about your investments as well.

- In very few countries bitcoins is not taxed and there as well, the rules and regulations are changing as well, therefore the government is now doing everything they can to catch such people.

If you do KYC then you have to submit your documents which does mean that it would be connected to your tax payer id which would be connected to your bank account as well.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casino key features!? Looking for a players advice! on: December 02, 2021, 07:05:39 AM
Hello,

I'm currently developing a crypto casino, I need an advice.

 - What's they key features that you are looking for when joining a new Crypto casino?
 - What set's you off from joining new casino?
 - Main cryptocurrencies that you like to gamble with?
 - Your favorite games?

Thanks!

For me there are some things that I would like to mention :
1. Very high transaction fee, when you go to withdraw they charge ridiculous amount of money therefore I try and gamble with the casino where I can actually choose my transactions, fast/slow whatever but at the end the player should have a say in this for sure.
2. Some casinos do not ask for KYC which I do think is important, sometimes it's not just not providing documents, but it's also a bother as well for a new casino, when you join and is asked to submit documents, overall it's not that easy and I haven't yet played in a casino which asks for all of them.
3. Instead of a lot of games casinos who focus on the quality of games, that I do find extremely helpful since at the end of the day quality beats quantity ofcourse.
-For me these things are extremely important.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin seen as 'Risk On' Asset instead of Gold's 'Risk Off' Status? on: December 01, 2021, 06:09:00 PM
Isn't Bitcoin like the best investment right now? The best thing to ever happen during the pandemic for people. There were literally a lot of uproar about cryptocurrencies like bitcoins being the worst kind of assets but not only did it leave Gold behind but it has already earned its own status.

- Comparison between Bitcoins and gold is futile since at the end of the day they both have different aspects..

Bitcoins is a decentralized volatile cryptocurrency.
Gold is pretty much controlled and volatility is not very pronounced. You can't compare a virtual asset with a traditional one.

Bitcoins have already outperformed stocks as well as gold. Not a lot to compare.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can people in Afganistan use crypto? on: December 01, 2021, 05:19:32 PM
Cryptocurrencies like bitcoins for right now do not have any rules pertaining to the legal issues therefore there has been a current rise in people using cryptocurrencies there, which does mean that instead of using exchanges, you can ask people you know. P2P would work best, but for that you would have to inquire and at the same time see what people are interested in and that would help you a lot.

Then again if the guy doesn't wanna do KYC he should know that he might not be getting the best rates and at the same time the government was showing security concerns regarding everything in Afghanistan pertaining to cryptocurrencies therefore you might find it hard to find exchanges which do not ask for KYC or anything, it's better that you look for simple and popular one's like binance and do your KYC, ofc you will get the best rates.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: December 01, 2021, 04:13:21 PM
The whales are taking advantage of the Bitcoin market and are buying the dip and Microstrategy one of the Bitcoin whales buys more than $414•4 million worth of bitcoin in addition to its present Bitcoin holding.

That is exactly why I do think that the dip is not going to last. The reason behind it being the big companies eager to purchase and hold some bitcoins any moment they get a chance to. I am pretty sure it's not just micro strategy but other companies as well. Some might be hiding their investments and some might be thinking of making their move soon.

- That's the good thing about volatility and that's why it's important to have patience during the low.

The dip is already going and the value is already rising therefore we can already assume that people did take advantage of this opportunity. We are slowly reaching the high of 8th November and I do think that we might be hitting a new high soon.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there still original ideas for innovation in Slot games? on: December 01, 2021, 03:09:41 PM
Might not be a popular opinion but I enjoy classic slot. Slot game is something that have been here since the beginning and innovations are ofcourse amazing but for me I prefer the normal one.

Plus slot machines are super classy and something that I played on as a kid as well in small fairs and parks, so for me it makes the whole experience more rewarding..

People are really high about the video slot games now a days which I do think are definately adequate and interesting, provides user with more hands on experience.

What I do think can be done is to :
Make it more realistic.
Make it more classy, rustic.
Give players the feeling that they are playing it in real life in an offline casino, for me that would be great.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: November 30, 2021, 06:35:41 PM
It's not just Slovakia but in Ukraine as well, generally parents are enrolling their kids in courses in where they learn about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and they also learn how to use cryptocurrencies, transactions, how the whole ecosystem is working as well, plus kids as young as 4-5 are enrolling in such courses, I was pretty shocked to see that happening. In India generally people are required to pass some courses on cryptocurrencies and bitcoins in their university if they are doing engineering degrees as well which I do think is really good from a professional standpoint..
Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and everyone knows that therefore I do feel like these things are going to grow and more and more people are going to get involved with them.. Amazing to see the progress of cryptocurrencies in professional sector.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Macau Casino's shares falls against illegal gambling arrest. on: November 30, 2021, 05:51:05 PM
Police arrested 11 people regarding:
Money laundering
Illegal Cross border Gambling

Apparently A person was accused of running illegal Cross border Gambling ( Mr. Chau). The Gambling is illegal in China but legal in Macau.

Quote
Mr Chau is the chairman of Suncity Group Holdings. He is also the founder of Suncity - Macau's biggest "junket operator", which organises trips to Asian casinos for wealthy gamblers.

Shares in Suncity Group were suspended from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Monday. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the BBC.

Some of the city's biggest operators were also affected, with MGM China down 10%, Wynn Macau losing 8% and Sands China more than 6% lower.

It was all a part of cross border Gambling sindicate Where they had 12,000 gambling agents and 80,000 members all across China which goes to great lengths to show that even if the government bans such things at the end of the day people are gonna find a way and illegal activities are going to harm them more.

What do you think ?.
I think the Chinese authorities should change their ways for sure.

1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are some government officials like saying what they don't understand on: November 30, 2021, 05:11:25 PM
I do think that the government, might try to make people go towards CBDC'S by saying such things but I do think that people should understand the fact that these things are not just wrong but also is guiding people towards accepting something which is not even what they promised it to be. They are not cryptocurrencies, they are just another thing close to fiat. Which would not even be volatile, it would be backed as well, which means that they are not at all different from fiat itself.

Government should actually understand that people are not stupid and they literally have to stop trying to impose such things. Very irresponsible statement made by the government.

They are not a tool to fight against cryptocurrencies, they are not even close to them, let's just let it sink it for the moment, Especially for them.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to accumulate more bitcoin other than buying with FIAT. on: November 30, 2021, 03:49:24 PM
How are people accumulating more bitcoin other than buying it with fiat?

I’m watching videos on Youtube and reading forums and i see a commonality of people saying to accumulate more bitcoin and not to day trade. But how does this work? Or are there other ways to grow your bitcoin portfolio? Can you explain a little bit in detail?

There are few things you can do for sure :

1. Day trading is super successful for most people, but at the same time the volatility of the market can cause a lot of probelms for the people who are not really consistent with their trading and finance. Therefore you have to be super alert at that point

2. You can always sell your services as well we have a whole section dedicated for it.

3. You can honestly participate in signature campaigns and support the companies you might be working for, it can be really rewarding for the long run

4. You can try and do small jobs, video making, reviews and get paid for it on the forum as well.

There are many things you can do to accumulate bitcoins, but it would all depend on your skills.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Prospective retailer on: November 30, 2021, 01:09:32 PM
Crypto has opened up lots of self employment option to our present society ranging from investment to trading even down to staking and all this are made possible by both centralized and decentralized exchanges providing services through licensed procedure to ensure a secured transaction either through peer-to-peer or a completely centralized procedure

I was just wondering don't you think becoming a retail vendor through a well developed exchange can earn you passive income or you haven't thought in that direction. Or could there be an  untold/hidden mysteries behind setting up an exchange because we still need more exchanges so we can give crypto more boost beyond government regulations

Setting up an exchange seems like an interesting idea for sure. I helped few of my friends when bitcoins and cryptocurrencies were banned in my country to sell/buy, since I was living in some other country where the government did allow these transactions to be made. But as a whole I did not earn any profit. Just saved some dollars on the transaction fee. Therefore if you do want to do something like this then you have to realize that it would only work if it is working on a bigger platform, if you have already a set amount of customers since local businesses might be lucrative but they are hard to materialize as well in that future. Therefore you might have to think ahead before you can even open one.

Passive income would only be possible if you do hold some shares in already existing business because if it's local and you are doing it then you would have to work a lot for that, to keep it on the track.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The paradox of Bitcoin adoption on: November 29, 2021, 06:52:17 PM
Merchants don't adopt Bitcoin because their clients don't use it. Clients don't adopt it because merchants don't support it, and people want to have a payment method that can be used anywhere they go. How can this vicious circle be broken? Who will make the first move?

And by adopt I mean adopt for payments, not hodl it as an investment.

That's not entirely true.
Most of the times :
The government doesn't really comply with these terms. The merchants and the clients might not even have a hand in this.
When you see the price of Bitcoins rising, you won't use it as a payment method, why would you? Generally you would actually use it as an investment and hold it for a long period of time. That would decrease their demand as well which would prompt the sellers to choose not to engage in cryptocurrencies like bitcoins.
I do think that, merchants and clients would only accept Bitcoins when it would be more beneficial to use it for transactions for examples :
1. For international transactions
2. Transactions needing third parties
For the regular basis I do think that it would be more advisable for the clients to hold their bitcoins since right now it's more profitable. When the price is stable, it might be a good idea tho. It's a lot about situations as well.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Social Gambling Platform? on: November 29, 2021, 06:02:32 PM
Apparently now we are going to have something called a Social Gambling Platform. It have already secured a lot of funds apparently 2.6 million Euros already. The platform will have interactions not just between sports betting, money but at the same time the players would be able to challenge each other.

It was based on the concept of mini leagues as formed by friends therefore this platform is just going to take those things on a bigger level.

It would have real time data feeds by pickguru as well.
Quote
The platform is powered by real-time data feeds which PickGuru’s leaderboards update as the game progresses. PickGuru began as a manual spreadsheet-based tipping competition that was shared with friends and colleagues during the 2020 Masters tournament. The game spread across the UK becoming a “viral sensation” that brought sports fanatics together.

They said it would be fantasy sports + gaming+ live action all together.

It's all set to launch the funding ground in 2020.
What do you think about this idea?
Would it fail? Or would it succeed?? Would you ever use it ?

1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey far less decentralized exchange (tbDEX) on: November 29, 2021, 05:34:54 PM
I do think that the CEO did not know the meaning of the terms : Decentralized, Private. I do like the fact that you did read their terms and conditions since most of us usually do not go though that.

- There cannot be any decentralized exchange for sure which is more private than the already existing exchanges and them as well are being advised by the government to start taking the documents of the people using them and now to even go through a simple step, you might have to submit a lot of your documents, otherwise you won't be able to look at the rates as well.

It's still early stages for this tbDEX exchange but when you have Jack Dorsey investing in this than you know it's going to be something serious.
They posted whitepaper on guthub page and it's open for any suggestions and changes, but I would like for them to keep verifications levels like in centralized exchanges, enabling people to trade even without kyc with lower limits.
Jack also promised that Square will make hardware wallet before dex exchange, so let's wait and see if he is keeping his word.

I do not think any long term exchange would be working legally without them having verification now since the government takes these things very seriously and they are quite serious about being able to regulate the crypto market.

Therefore for once and for all we can understand that the regulations would always be there. We might have to submit the documents to make sure we are able to use it. Hopefully they are able to provide competitive rates.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Another One Bites the Dust: Entebbe Int. Airport falls to China's Debt Trap on: November 29, 2021, 05:02:59 PM
Quote
It found 42 low-to-middle income countries (LMICs) had debt exposure to China exceeding 10% of their GDP, including Laos, Papua New Guinea, the Maldives, Brunei, Cambodia and Myanmar. Laos had significant proportions of its debt classed by AidData as “hidden”, the report revealed.

That's 42 low to middle income countries that they are targeting. Which does mean that what happened to Uganda is something that can happen to any of them. Considering the situation that China is in its trying to dominate the world and they are actually on the right track. If am correct even the US owes debt to China which does mean that what they are doing right now : printing more money and taking more Loans it could soon mean that the power would shift in a couple of years.

-I do think that Uganda might have to pay a lot to get the airport back if they want but looking at the current situation of covid and the new strain they might be in probelms as well in the future.

What would China do with that airport? They should just be humble and help the country out.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 29, 2021, 04:11:08 PM
If we take every dollar in existence and make the existing quantity of BTC equal that amount of value, what will a coin cost in the (now-defunct) dollar?

Just wondering what will happen if a large economy switch to Bitcoin

There are many things that can happen, both positive and negative at the same time I do think some of the things that can impact the bitcoin environment are :

1. People switching to bitcoins means the Volatility have to go down, since they would be using it on a regular basis.

2. The government might try and centralize the whole economy, which would mean sooner or later there would be more impositions.

3. The value of Bitcoins might undergo price correction since now companies might switch to other cryptocurrencies which might provide them more benefits. Without volatility it might be hard keeping in the investors.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice or slot, Horse 🐎 ride on: November 29, 2021, 03:47:04 PM
I would recommend you to play *Dice*

My arguments would be as follows :

1. You can change the bet according to you, you can change the value which means it could help you to keep a track of your money better.

2. You can also reduce the risk on certain sites, the payout might not be that much but it's still relevant and you can go slow and continue earning.

3. The odds in slots and horse betting are far lower as compared to the odds in Dice.

Therefore I would recommend you to play Dice at sites which offers for the bets to be changed
1059  Economy / Economics / Re: Can civilization revert to a barter system on: November 28, 2021, 06:14:27 PM
I do not about the barter system being a retro since the village my parents live in India, they do have a barter system even now in place. Which does mean that some communities are not so eager to let the system go. This method could be so much more beneficial if done on a bigger scale definately. Using blockchain would also help a lot, people can also sign contracts there and at the same time farmers for example can exchange their vegetables or fruits for pesticides etc, this could be a small system still in place for sure. Not reverting but using the system as well. People already exchange cryptocurrencies using third parties, they can do that using this system as well. Might be fun to see tho.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: November 28, 2021, 05:40:02 PM
Adding the Bitcoin symbol to the keyboard will scream "ADOPTION". The question is where to put the key? I would suggest they replace the $ with the bitcoin symbol... just kidding. However, it gotta go somewhere, what do you think?

I don't think it would take just 1-2 years, I do think it would still take a lot of time for the Bitcoin symbol to be added to the keyboard, since this is something which is governed by highly centralized companies and them having such open thoughts might be a delusion.

You can't even find bitcoins in emojis tho. But another thing I got to know from google apparently :
Quote
The Bitcoin sign is part of Unicode 10.0 (released June 2017) with code point U+20BF (₿). As of June 2017, font support for the Bitcoin sign is in macOS Sierra, iOS, Android O beta, Windows 10 Creators Update and several Linux releases

/Taken from google/
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_symbol#:~:text=The%20Bitcoin%20sign%20is%20part,Update%20and%20several%20Linux%20releases.

Other than that I tried finding how to get it on your keyboard as well and apparently if you are using Microsoft word then you can very easily do that :

Quote
Hold the alt key and type 8383 using numeric keypad to type Bitcoin sign ₿. Remember to enable number lock key when using numeric pad. Type 20BF and press alt + x keys to convert the code into ₿ sign. This method works in Microsoft Word and you can use regular keyboard keys

/Taken from google/

That means that just few updates and it should be out in the market against dollars but the companies doesn't seem like they wanna do it. But we still have other ways to use it therefore not a big deal.
