941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Animal racing on: December 27, 2021, 04:21:33 PM
Ofcourse it is.
Animal racing is not only problematic for animal's rights but at the same time it causes long term issues for the animals who are in the part of the race for a long time, they end up dying on the race tracks or having other probelms as well, most of them does not have medical care as well. The horses are also drugged by some people and the cock fighting always end up Killing a lot of animals for fun. The bull fighting is very sad, people enjoy seeing the animal being killed publicly, it might put some long term impression on kids who accompany their parents for such fights as part of their culture. How about hamster races where they power the marbles ?? These are not only cute but it's also good for everyone!
942  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. population grew only 0.1% in 2021 lowest rate since nation's founding on: December 27, 2021, 03:53:55 PM
Honestly I do not understand the reason why Japan have been criticized for their negative population rate. If we do look at the big picture the whole world's population is still increasing therefore that doesn't even make sense, the 0.1% population growth is actually good not just for the environment but also for the world as a whole. Overpopulation is something that needed to be controlled and people are themselves doing that now and that's nothing short of amazing. The population is currently increasing but 1.05% per year and therefore if the developed countries do step forward and improve their quality of life, won't it be better ? Government can also work on making the policies better for the existing people, it's not about the quantity it's about the quality!! I think it's a good thing.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Corporations use inflation as an excuse to raise prices and fatten profits on: December 27, 2021, 03:20:05 PM
I believe all the developing nations are having the same issues. For example when I talk about my native country : India, the government does not just fail to handle corruption but at the same time they are unable to keep their currency at a stable rate. Poverty, pollution, education to name a few a lot of money is passed from the central government but at the end what the net profit for the people is even less than 1%, that makes these issues worse which causes problems with the crime, literacy, keeping the poor people in the web of poverty, the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. The printing is not a major issue, they have been discussing if it would be a good idea, therefore the government is literally not able to balance anything and the inflation is rising drastically. According to the state it can be 5-5.2% from the next year which is so much worse!! Right now it's around 6% and a healthy inflation rate should only be around 2%.
944  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sites to play poker game on: December 27, 2021, 12:52:12 PM
If you do want to play poker I would recommend you to check out :
Blackjack.fun
It's the site I have been promoting since a long time and they also have good ratings, satisfied customers and no scam accusations, at the same time the withdrawal is also timely and you have other games available there as well. There is a whole selection of card games that you can play there and you also have the opportunity to talk with the players and also participate in the free roll tournament, at the same time you can also win hourly biggest win competition, I saw a guy who won 0.025 BTC recently.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 26, 2021, 05:37:21 PM
I do think that it is very important to put bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in the perspective order and draw a demarcation line between the centralized and the decentali systems since at the end it's integrated: for sure but it's not essentially a part of it making it very resistance to the future ups and downs that might happen in the economy, if the US government collapses the bitcoins would be affected for sure but it would not just be able to bounce back up soon but it would not be affected that drastically as well, profits made using cryptocurrencies can definately benefit the government, taxes from the crypto gambling sites online are for sure generating good revenues, but I think the link is not that strong.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need a bull market blow off top ? on: December 26, 2021, 04:59:02 PM
The reason people are looking for the price to blow up is just to make some profits but I do think it's near Christmas and many of them would be taking out money to celebrate the festivals therefore the up and down of the price chart is quite viable. Now let's talk about how we can still earn money through cryptocurrencies :
1. Trading
Day trading is still beneficial
2. Long term holding
These are the few things that we can still do and the scenario that you described is something that is definitely not possible since bitcoins at the end of the day cannot really run around in boundaries, the limited supply makes the final price extremely unpredictable and at the same time with the current circumstances, I do think that it's highly unlikely that something like this is gonna happen.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling rating 2021 on: December 26, 2021, 04:18:42 PM
Most of the casinos working with the players on the platform are amazing there are few things I would like to point out:

1. Both duelbits and roobet organized competitions for the players to participate in win and till this day roobet continues to do that which is amazing for many people.

2. Other casinos like blackjack.fun also organized various competitions, there were many players who could have participated in the draw!! Which was indeed very fun and some of them also get timely bonuses on the site which is great hands down!

For me these three casinos are working not just without any probelms or scam accusations but at the same time they also have good ratings in the market!! I definately support them hands down. Hopefully they will continue to provide such support to the customers and the forum as well.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UPDATE: Am I Doing My Students a Disservice? on: December 26, 2021, 03:47:45 PM
This class sounds so much fun !
I do think that you are an absolutely amazing teacher, teaching kids the basics of certain things from the books are for sure your duty and are for sure very very important but would they remember it ?

Or would they remember the practical that they did? Which would definately help them out in the future as well, we all know that bitcoins is here to stay thus this makes even more sense that the new kids start learning about this, plus learn how to buy/sell! The kids who made outrageous purchases that's an ouch! For sure but I do hope most of the kids only took the good experience home with them and not a smirk of alleviating of your balance. I do wish my teachers could have taken some time and taught me this, that would have been amazing for sure! Hands down!
949  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans overestimate social mobility in their country on: December 26, 2021, 03:20:09 PM
The geographical location definately depends on the career that you are pursuing. For example:
1. If you are a doctor working in the US would be far more profitable than working in the UK. Working for the NHS does not have a lot of (+)'s for the people looking to be a millionaire but it also provides better security and stability.
2. US is capable of many things but certainly they are not capable of handling the new Covid strain and at the same time time, they are not able to provide proper care for the workers thus heading towards the great resignation.
I do think for me it's Europe for sure.
It's easier to find jobs and the diversity in the options available are also good. But US is not far behind, maybe they are just lagging by 1-2 points.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I recovered my wallet from 2014 and saw how close I was to being a millionaire on: December 26, 2021, 09:17:55 AM
We all have missed opportunities when it comes to Bitcoins, at the end of the day you should understand the fact that you did not just sell for fun, when people sell their bitcoins and are not able to make invest for the long term, most often, it's because they need this money, which does mean that their financial statement is not that good, therefore you can't regret that, I had 0.1 BTC which I sold before the high, in 3k's just because I needed to pay my fee, that does not mean that I do not regret it, but it did help me at that moment.
But we all definately had a lot of loaded opportunities, but now our scope is widened and we do understand cryptocurrencies better than ever, so hopefully we all would be wise about making any mistakes in the future.

953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino account ban cases on: December 23, 2021, 04:47:21 PM
In recent times several users from this forum have complained about the account being banned on most of the casinos, so am prompt to ask what caused this situation sometimes the fault is from the casino site, and other times it is from the user itself.

Most of the times if you are playing on a good, trusted casino then it is the fault of the player itself. Most of them I have seen them asking questions regarding:

Usage of VPN
Using two IDs

Other than that many people also get banned from the chat groups on the sites as well if they use improper language or display foul behavior.

Only the casino that scams people bans their accounts for no reason at all, I do think that you also have to learn about cheating like card counting in an offline casino or using bots, making two bets against your bet itself, things like that happens a lot of times.

Sometimes people also try to access the casino from an illegal location.
954  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 23, 2021, 04:07:10 PM
I do not understand the situation here, it's illegal to throw the money like that, at the end of the day thats still official money and the government does have the responsibility to protect it so that they do not get scammed in the first place. I do think that they might have been faulty notes or might not be real, but getting it the point:
Over printing is not just a probelm with people who are living in a country like Venezuela, but also the biggest countries in the world like the US, at the end of the day you end up holding the dominant fiat, but the value dies down every day, which makes it eventually have weaknesses, but the government does not stop there now, even during covid when they do know what's happening, they have done nothing to help it. Plus if the biggest bodies collapsed so will be the small nations dependent on the already developed country. That's why we need some investment which is not backed by governmental organizations.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 23, 2021, 11:37:34 AM
Alright as I see here, there seems to be a major disregard for problem gambling out there, I do think they do not understand how big that issue is for certain people and certain families and at the end of the day, they should have apologized and taken it more seriously. On the other hand you should have also reported the mail as spam and blocked it, but as a recovering addict I do understand that it might be hard to do that.
I do think you should seek professional help, it doesn't even have to be expensive since most of the times, the government and the insurance company would pay for it, making it easier for people to approach with. It's a serious issue and can cause long term damage, not just on your economic status but on your mental health as well.
I hope you get better soon.
This forum is all about responsible gambling, it's a community and there are people like you who have gone though a lot and have successfully taken hardest steps. Best of luck!
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2021, 06:35:25 PM
There was this faucet site that used to pay money in Bitcoins and also this site which usually paid you to watch the videos, therefore I was trying to earn some money online so I would hang around these sites and then gamble my money in slots, ended up using a lot, lol, I did not know much about it then, my friend joined the forum and then he introduced me to it, it definitely too time to get used to everything and at the same time, I do remember having some probelms with transactions to other countries then I tried using bitcoins, it worked perfectly well! I even tried downloading the mining software on the computers, well it didn't work, slowly I got to know more about bitcoins and also about the campaigns, explored the services section and at the end of all of it, now am encouraging people to adopt bitcoins and make their accounts on the forum to keep track of the whole community.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz Need help getting my deposit back/credited on: December 22, 2021, 05:25:09 PM
Even if you go on trustpilot you will see that a number of players have had the same problem as you, did you check their reputation before going on about it ? Even though they have a legal license, the way they treat their customers should only be taken seriously when a customer is giving their review. Plus now a days there are numerous bots on the telegram which pays people to write reviews about God knows what and pays them for that or even to make some videos and etc.. therefore I think you should ask them again, since they have a license you should try and file a complaint against them and at the end of the day, you do need to look into a different casino certainly, sorry for your loss.
-Make a seperate post in the scam section I do hope they listen to you and help you out in this case.

Secondly If it's the minimum deposit thing, you should be more careful and do state that as well, because you won't be able to get that back certainly. Sorry
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a "Global Unit of Account"? on: December 22, 2021, 04:45:27 PM
Short answer: No
The following are my reasons to support my argument:
1. Not every country will allow bitcoins, ex: North Korea
2. Volatility will cause massive trouble for certain occasions
3. Not everyone does have access to internet or even a simple mobile phone
4. Local markets would not work in countries with economic probelms
5. Not everyone would be able to use it, it does need a minimum technical knowledge
6. Banks can't become obsolete, no matter what they are important to maintain healthy economic balance
7. There would be a fight for power and dominance admist countries and they would try and own bitcoins themselves
8. There would be too many regulations
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Local leagues on: December 22, 2021, 04:08:13 PM
I found some sites mentioned online by players:

Betway
Parimatch
Bet9ja
Wazobet
1xbet
22bet

Well I looked around and found a site mentioning the sites not only that their +/- as well which might be profitable for many people as well, so if you want to check it out you can definitely do that, since am not from Nigeria therefore I can't really say anything about it.

960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My second purchase with bitcoin on: December 22, 2021, 03:34:38 PM
Bitcoins being legal in Ukraine are now showing a trend where the sellers are legally accepting: bitcoins and ETH, I have not seen any other cryptocurrencies being accepted here, but at the same time it's not as common as buying a coffee with Bitcoins but rather you can try and get some household things from certain places if you do look closely. So before I did buy some dog food and pet products which is very very common but seeing the guy accept Bitcoins online was quite a big deal. I do think you did an amazing job here!! Using bitcoins as a currency far overlooked by many people but can work wonders for some, now you can even pay mortgage with Bitcoins soon or buy houses!
