961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No..China Does NOT Have 0% of the Hashrate on: December 22, 2021, 01:45:09 PM
It's not legal there anymore which does mean that at the end of the day you cannot sit down and talk about how people are still mining illegally. That's the whole point of decentralized system, the government can never control it and therefore instead of banning they should work on actually regulating it profitably for everyone!! This is not a joke and there are people whose life are dependent upon bitcoins/mining or something related to cryptocurrencies, they won't really sell everything and move to other countries. But at the end of the day the government does not have a control over them, if they did, we won't have this news all together, A failed system that's what it is. Let us take this as a strong example that the government can try but can barely control bitcoins.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Are you going to try this free to play platform? on: December 21, 2021, 04:59:30 PM
According to the news headlines, Maximbets is all set to launch Free to Play platform for people in time for the college bowl season, they want to make customers experience all the fun, plus they won't even have to pay anything, not only that :
There will be other prizes and rewards available
The platform is developed by splash tech
It's a collaboration between, maxim and carousel group!! I do think this is a bit exciting news for everyone since we seldom see such big offers being made in the community. Therefore you must try it if they are legal in your region.

(The college bowl game starts on December 28th and players will be making bets on the teams)
963  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 21, 2021, 04:33:47 PM
Bitcoins already increased by quite a bit over time and at the same time we can see that other cryptocurrencies are also looking good. People who were holding them and did not panic sell can have a sense of relief. At the same time I always find that during the holiday season it's best to exploit the discounts, putting off something like : microwave?? Viola! Christmas discount! So I put off buying things till the holidays and they usually work really well therefore I do think that people who can manage money wisely at the same time keep a track of discounts and how they can use it for the best can actually not only go through with presents in each hand but also save for the longer term.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin legal tender in UAE (Dubai) ? on: December 21, 2021, 04:01:15 PM
Short answer is : No
It's not a Legal Tender in Dubai, but the government is taking steps to ensure that bitcoins as a whole is accepted more and more. It's more of a crypto friendly nation and I do think if everything goes well then in few years they might think of doing that but right now unfortunately they are not accepting it as a legal tender. Also if you must know, they are not *that friendly* towards bitcoins, they are keen on regulating it and setting up a space where it can be exchanged and invested, at the same time the laws are not much super positive as well, the government nearly does not recognize the transactions in any virtual currencies. It still needs a lot of time there.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who’s who in the gambling subforum? on: December 21, 2021, 03:34:12 PM
Following one's advice is a good idea when they know more about it than you, but I do think we should remember that it might give them some sense of responsibility towards the same and at the same time gambling is a luck based game, sports gambling is certainly a green area and even online you can find the top picks and expert advice to gamble on certain players, certain sports. I do think you should try and make bets yourself. Pointing someone out would not necessarily be a good thing, I do think that you should just follow the general threads which are updated everyday as well.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United Wholesale Mortgage To Accept Bitcoin This Year on: December 21, 2021, 03:06:24 PM
Bitcoins have already been used for several times to make payments for purchasing properties but timely mortgage payments?? It would be something that should be thoroughly planned and executed as well. The company mentioned above does want to execute the same but they have still not made any promises and therefore I do think that we might have to wait for few months before we can see any changes. They can also use smart contracts as well in the same and it would further make it more secure and upto the mark. I do think that it would be a great idea because bitcoins would work well in heavy transactions, the key would be keeping it profitable.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Fixed Supply Tokens Can't Become True Currencies on: December 21, 2021, 02:32:45 PM
What if there is someone who actually prefers using bitcoins as a currency, since the governmental issues are a bit too much to deal with?
- International transactions are much easier with Bitcoins
- Transactions beyond a certain amount actually does take a while and ofcourse there are so many steps before as well, using cryptocurrencies like bitcoins, excludes the concept of third parties making it easier.

I understand there are people who prefer using Bitcoins as an investment, but that does not change the fact that, cryptocurrencies like bitcoins can also be used as a currency, something that can be taken as a *world currency*, with the collapse of US, surge of Omicron we might desperately need the bitcoins.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 20, 2021, 06:56:29 PM
Another end of the year for the UFC as we look forward to January 15, the venue is yet to be announced by uncle Dana, but I think it might be Moscow as well.
- I think Calvin Kattar is looking to redeem himself against his main event before where he was outclased even with his endurance and now he must make some adjustments to his fighting.

Therefore I think I will place bets on him.
They are not filled with highlights name, but expect a good show. This week was a brutal match, the main event, I did expect to finish fast and at last it did as well, it was enjoyable.

Sad there won't be any match till 15th of January.
969  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 20, 2021, 06:10:06 PM
Let's wait for a second and ponder upon the thought:
Aren't we already experiencing the market crash??
Aren't we already in an economic crisis?
Don't you remember when one mast sold for like 10$ or something??
Aren't people already jobless, homeless, unable to recieve private or public care in the hospitals??

-We are already in an economic crisis, the governments can collapse any second of the day and the thing is, all of this is kind of hidden therefore there is no way to figure out when the things will take turn for the worst. I do think that you should also look into the debt and printing money regarding the US government as well.
970  Economy / Economics / Re: Not correct news about omicron and eu stocks on: December 20, 2021, 05:26:54 PM
I don't think no one smart enough would be basing their investment decisions on CNBC "articles". Their job isn't necessarily to spread decent information, but for the headlines and the main gist of the article just to be easily graspable for the masses so they share it on social media.
I do think that one might understand the fact that most of the headlines are made up by the companies to influence the decisions of the general investors therefore you cannot check their credibility for sure. What you can do is : Monitor the market yourself!! At the same time, media usually does not do a good job.

-stay out of media headlines
-recognize the FUD's
-track the market yourself
-find better places to look for financial advices rather than the CNBC itself

You can't really expect thing to be 100% on the line when it's a pandemic now therefore you should just do what you think is right and hope for the best.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia's 0% Tax on foreigners and digital nomads on: December 20, 2021, 04:35:47 PM
Indonesia does provide visa on entry and their visa process is not too difficult therefore at the end of the day I do think that, it would be a nice idea only if people try and use the volcanic power, which would inturn make it a new renewal source of energy, which can be used by miners, at the end of the day it is important to have sustainable environment as well.
The government lists it as a *trading commodity* therefore there is still a long way to go since, they have to make it legal first, it's a beautiful country and I do think many people would like to start their new crypto friendly life there if the government approves, please stop spreading things like *who wouldn't wanna live near a volcano* plus internet speeds can always be upgraded.
972  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT and art theft on: December 20, 2021, 12:24:18 PM
Reproduction of any artwork is quite possible, there are people who can very easily just add a layer and copy the whole thing and sell it like it's theirs. I do think this very post proves us the essential requirement of having your own NFT for your artwork. See the thing is, these things have been happening since time immemorial, people take advantage and you can't decide who is the owner, at last we have a tool that can help us label the owner and give him his rights, he would own his own art. Making an NFT is easy as well, now few sites are offering the gas fee being paid after the seller buys it therefore with minimal technical knowledge you can actually get your own NFT in the market and get recognition.
973  Economy / Economics / Re: It been said about usa economy many times now its here on: December 19, 2021, 06:35:56 PM
If the US , a strong economic country is not able to take care of the situation then I doubt what other countries will do in the long run, I do think that, we should understand the fact that if US is in trouble, many small countries which are dependent upon US would collapse as well. Not all countries for sure but some definitely.

The new variant is the least of the concern, there would be future mutations as well, which inturn can cause massive issues for the long run, the countries are not able to cope up with anything for the moment.

That's why investing in Bitcoins is a big thing because with the governments collapsing there must be a back up.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin full integration in payment systems on: December 19, 2021, 05:26:21 PM
Not a tech expert but I do think that :
- They need to have basic technical knowledge and staff
- They need to have specific wallets integrated with lightning network
- The right knowledge to combact volatility
- Customer Demand
- Upgradations in their site or shops, adding qr code for payments etc
- Fine order processing and printing of online receipt 🧾 as well
These are the things that pop up in my mind when I think about companies who want to integrate the bitcoins in their system, it's essentially easy but people must be careful since one wrong step and the blame would be on the whole network. Plus they need people who are already accustomed with Bitcoins to be handling that.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing with dices on: December 19, 2021, 04:34:28 PM
See I remember watching video of a YouTuber who already did all of that, he made the arguments as well at least and he did not really gain anything and did loose a lot as well, therefore I do think you should have tried to look at the videos before tho.

Understanding mathematics and being good at gambling is quite different, counting cards is one of the thing that you can compare to it but here in the dice using the martingale which does not work and we all know that, that's why I think it would be futile making analysis regarding that.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Data-driven or Emotional driven Bitcoin holder? on: December 19, 2021, 04:05:36 PM
The emotional holders generally get out of the market quite fast ⏩ since either they :
Believe FUD's
Panic sell
Therefore they are not going to last in the market. But on the other hand we have investors based on the data science as well for them I do think that :
They usually do well with trading and investing
They don't spread FUD's and give right information ℹ️
They understand that as long as they *don't encash they don't loose*
They keep a track of the market as well and news 🗞️ which is extremely important.

/Then comes the passive holders as well who have investments in Bitcoins and then they forget about them/
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUDS started against Bitcoin as asusual on: December 19, 2021, 03:13:43 PM
This is honestly something that happens Everytime, sometimes even the experienced users Panic sell during such times, the Volatility of the market is what makes it different than other currencies backed up by something important. The volatility is what makes the market profitable and more alluring for the new investors, therefore this is honestly the right time to invest and put your money in the bitcoins and hold it for the long term, taking the money out does mean that you are not really doing anything but you are just loosing your money and your bitcoins as well. As long as you don't encash you don't loose.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Usdt safe heaven on: December 18, 2021, 06:17:15 PM
The reason why one might choose USDT over USD is simply because:
It's easier for trading with other cryptocurrencies

Why would you try and hold USDT? I do not understand the concept. Plus it's not a safe heaven:
Have you seen the excessive printing of money?? By the US government, even if you don't know about it you should try and rescarch.
Do you know how much debt there is on the government itself?? It's not simple.
Do you know that the current government is still taking on big projects perse with a massive debt and excessive printing of money, which as it turns out is awful for their economy. People are not taking jobs the mass resignation shows that they need big amends, it's only a matter of time till the country collapses, they can only hold that much.
Be your own judge and do the research first.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: December 18, 2021, 05:46:34 PM
I don't have much to invest therefore I generally hold my bitcoins, whatever extra money I save, then take it out every once in a while to pay for basic amenities. Holder and traders are two opposite sides. Generally the traders are going all in a risky platform and at the end they might end up either making a lot of money or loosing a lot. Their income is active and it involves getting aquatinted with the market every single second, it's a hard job and one needs experience, there are sites online that can help you predict the price but I highly doubt their authenticity, but traders can study the graph and sometimes predict, plus you gotta be huge on the news as well, all the FUD's, the whale alerts etc.. on the other hand a Holder is a person who shuts down looking at their wallets when the price is declining and just hope for the best, the passive income is quite impressive if one has the ability to invest a certain amount and hold for a while.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Sharing and helping others on: December 18, 2021, 05:12:51 PM
Rightly said, the people who are aquatinted with cryptocurrencies have the opportunity to extend their knowledge to their family and friends. For example:- This Christmas me and my boyfriend are planning to visit each other but apparently it's a hard task to transfer money via bank accounts, the visa I had to pay for apparently needed credit card and I had to ask him to lend me his, then I transferred the money in form of *Bitcoins*, he had to make a whole wallet and then he also started investing a bit into it. I could have transferred via bank account but I wanted him to start using bitcoins, plus it worked and now every now and then he asks me questions about how it all works, which I try and answer to the best if my knowledge.  Other than that me and my brother also invested our money in other cryptocurrencies together, which was a big deal since he was never interested in cryptocurrencies and I feel at least he took a step after me nagging him for a while.
