why don't we just call them bits? it rolls off the tongue, and also implies that they're not full bitcoins. who knows, maybe in time it'll all be bits and coins, with 1000 bits in a coin rather than 1000mBTC in 1BTC. sure seems a lot less clumsy. just a thought.

On top of that, we are paying HST and brokerage when we get the package. But I still prefer my order to be sent Fedex. USPS is good but you'll be getting it who knows when and if your package is flagged by Customs, you'll wait weeks before you get it. It happened to me once, where incoming USPS package (handled by CanadaPost on our side) was stopped in Customs; CanadaPost and Customs played "it is not me it is him" game to two weeks. I called Canada Customs, they referred me to CanadaPost. When I called CanadaPost, they referred me to Canada Customs. Total nightmare.
I hope your USPS package gets in without a hassle.
gulp! now you've got me worried. never dealt much specifically with USPS (or FedEx, for that matter); i'm just thinking of my positive experiences with canada post, and the extortionate brokerage fees that UPS slaps on cross-border packages. this actually raises an interesting point -- what's the value of these things for customs declarations? my bitcoins were a LOT cheaper than $128 each.

mine with the replacement parts and compensate people for the unexpected delays.
as someone who participated in a different group buy, but has been watching this thread since page 50 or so, this sounds like a reasonable solution. do you compensate everyone whose miner was mailed out after the 23rd, though? if not, where's the cutoff? there's an eyebrow-raising number of apologists in this thread. OP organized a $130,000 group buy and didn't even start printing shipping labels until the units arrived! i mean, wouldn't ya start prepping when the orders started climbing into the hundreds? i know everyone's happy to get their units, but let's not pretend this group buy has been something it hasn't

Was this driving anyone else nuts for the past 90 days? I feel like I can finally relax What do you mean? What was driving you nuts? The massive cliff on the chart caused by the 10:1 split on March 1. It rendered the chart useless for the past three months, but it just rolled off today.

after several PMs requesting this, here you go:
2013-05-29: add .12 for next day shipping if your order is less than 10 units and you want next day instead of priority.
Does the same offer (or a similar one at a different price) apply to Canadian orders? no, fedex is quoting me $75 to ship next day to Canada... so it would be .57 bitcoins oof! that's rich. i'll wait

I'm in the GTA, not a hero, but have been around for a while.
If you guys want I can start a group buy thread. I guess ExpressPost would be the way to go.
Sorry about your mayor. Your location is good for redistribution costs... regional xpresspost from Ontario covers a much wider area than regional xpresspost from NL I'd be interested in 1 unit (I already have 5 on the way), depending on how quickly things come together.
