Is there difference in ICO price of RICO mint I, II and III like early adopter bonus

Here you go:

Sending XAU early or later on does not give any advantage as the rate will still be the same 1XAU = 8000XAUR.

However the advantage of investing fiat and other crypto early on, is the minting cost: Minting cost in RICO Mint I will be the lowest because for each mint the minting cost is greater or equal to the minting cost of the previous mint. For example here are the minting costs for Mint I and II:

RICO Mint I minting cost: 0.03638375$
RICO Mint II minting cost: 0.03812457009$

RICO Mint III minting cost will be greater or equal to RICO Mint II minting cost and so on.

what happen with the fund for RicoI and II?

The funds for RICO Mint I were used to buy gold (and mint new XAURs), the same will be done with RICO Mint II funds, and so on.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: CHESSCOIN - 32% POS - COIN FOR CHESS COMMUNITY on: July 24, 2016, 11:11:20 AM
Hi,

I run into an issue some minutes ago, my wallet lost some 40k to 50k coins.

So I am running my wallet on my Windows laptop, I think the lost coins were in Stake. An error occurs (the Windows old bleu screen) and my laptop restarts, I run my wallet and I am missing lots of coins, I wait a little but they don't come back Smiley. Lucky for me, I had a backup of AppData\Roaming\ChessCoin from three days ago, I ran my wallet using the backup files, my wallet synched and it seems I got all my coins back.

Has anyone run into a similar issue before? Does anyone know of a way to prevent this from happening?

Thank you.

Hmm i never had such a problem. Does it always happen to you ?

Well the Windows blue screen yes ^^ but the loss of Chess, that was the first time (and finally I didn't lose any). I keep a backup because I change laptops from time to time.

1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: XAURUM Signature Campaign [FULL] on: July 23, 2016, 07:53:39 AM
As I understand it, either users completely left the campaign which means there are slots available (up to 100) or there are people who are disqualified but only for the previous week (week 1), meaning they still can qualify for week 2 and 3, the reward will just be less. For instance users who didn't qualify for week 1 (and qualify for week 2 and 3), will have 825XAUR as a reward:

Anyone who joins past 23:59 UTC tonight posts will be counted towards next week and the rate will go down to 825 XUAR.

So, as far as I understand it, qualifications are per week and the rate is function of the number of week you qualify for.

Hello,

I would like to create a new local board (for a language that still has no local board). Can anyone tell me how to proceed? (I might have missed the guidelines for that, if any were in the original post, and I'm sorry for that). Thank you.

They will only be created if there's demmand for one. Create a thread in Meta if you would like to further discuss your proposal.

Thx for the reply, okay then I might create a topic in Meta to discuss that. So, there will be demand if users replied on the potentiel thread I'll create and said "Yes, it would be a good idea" or are there some other measures to quantifiy demand?

So when is the next minting due?

A Mint happens each three days. RICO Mint I took place on 21/07/2016 12:00 CET, so I suppose RICO Mint II will take place on 24/07/2016 12:00 CET.

Is the FIAT currency amount reset back to 0? I see calculation for the BTC & USD, but what the rate for 1 ETH or 1 LISK to XAUR in Mint 1?

Maybe it is just 0 for now and it will be updated soon ... We'll see about that soon enough.

What do you mean by "calculation for the BTC & USD"? I don't see communication about the rates used to convert crypto to dollars, maybe they used coinmarketcap ... It seems to me that at the end, to buy gold, everything is converted to dollars.

Try posting in the RICO thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1546279, it seems more active, you may have more answers there.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum RICO [OPEN] on: July 22, 2016, 09:21:18 AM

I still do not understand how it is beneficial to buy earlier than later within the ICO. The following statements seem oppositional. If the conversion rate from XAU to XAUR stays the same, how does it make a difference when to buy? I guess I somehow still do not understand something here. Smiley

Few questions

1) What's the benefit of buying now instead of last day of the RICO?
After minting, Xaurum ratio will increase, this means the base value of each xaurum will increase, and will consequently be more costly to create. Nobody can know how much more the cost will increase in advance, yet it is certain to increase, as it depends on the number of funds collected and number of new xaurum coined. After the first mint, a new minting price will be published.

Are mint 2 transaction ratios different than mint #1? Can't believe I missed the first one, and I was saving all that XAU for this Sad

Sorry Im at work & don't have time to check the site - thanks in advance.
The existing XAU will be converted to XAUR at the same rate, 1 XAU = 8000 XAUR.

i don't understand it either. they should have give some bonuses for the first few people who bought XAUR in the first days and then bonuses gradually depreciates until the last days. This will give  the pressure to buy earlier. i would assume however that people will still buy more in the last days. its 8 days left! Good luck to us.

1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum RICO [OPEN] on: July 22, 2016, 09:10:59 AM

I came across that and indeed the project doesn't seem that solid ... Xaurum seems to already have gold reserves and they want to buy more. DeColouds doesn't have any ...
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum RICO [OPEN] on: July 22, 2016, 09:07:34 AM
I'm just curious, but need to throw some hypothetical situations out there:

Let's say I send 100,000 XAU to the RICO address.

What I receive in return....is 800,000,000 XAUR? What is the purpose of XAUR, and how much XAUR = 1oz gold?

Another hypothetical:

Let's say I send 100,000 XAU to the RICO address.  While I get 800,000,000 XAUR (?) the XAUR devs will be selling this XAU and purchasing gold with the profit?  Aren't we getting any of the shiny stuff?  And how can you prove it...

...because that's a large amount of fiat received in Mint I, which is already over - but nothing to show for it....?

Yes, any sent XAU will be converted into XAUR immediately at the ratio of 1XAU = 8000XAUR.

Now, the gold base for a XAUR is 0.00036835432g (see previous comment):

1 XAUR = 0.00036835432 g

This base value may change after each mint.

It seems to me that one of the purposes of XAUR is to increase liquidity, XAU is relatively expensive and maybe difficult to exchange, by splitting it into 8000 XAUR, it will probably be easily exchangeable ...

The XAU is not sold (it is exchanged for XAUR), only fiat and other crypto is sold to buy new gold and add it to the existing reserve. You can get gold only if you want to exchange XAU/XAUR for it (and you will get the base value), this is called melting. For the time being, it is not profitable at all to melt a XAU and in the near future it wouldn't be profitable to melt a XAUR unless the market price is under the price of the base value. This has never happened before.

I hope we get some contract, some purchase order and some pictures to show for that ...

Quelques statistiques concernant RICO Mint I :

Valeur des fonds utilisés pour le monnayage : 597755,8446 $
Xaurum généré : 15679018,6272 XAUR
Or correspondant aux fonds (acheté au prix de 54,8$/g) : 10907,95337 g

Réserve monétaire de Xaurum (XAUR généré + XAUR issu de XAU) : 75672214,5632 XAUR
Réserve d'or (or existant + or acheté avec les fonds) : 27874,1875 g

If you want to empty your wallet, use Send Coins > Options > Empty wallet. It's impossible to calculate the exact amount manually.

Thank you very much. I didn't even know this option existed. I tried it and it seemed (I didn't send bitcoins yet) to be working. I'll be locking this thread.

HI Help Me. I Sent  the C-CEX XAU and BTC on RICO. BTC come.
XAU did not come. Written in support of the C-CEX. While silence.
I sent in the first hour of the beginning of the RICO.

Can you a attach a screen shot of your Xaurum dashboard ?

Normally any sent XAU will be directly converted to XAUR (it will appear in your XAUR balance).
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xaurum RICO on: July 21, 2016, 02:29:56 PM
2.27093139107 XAU comes from 661/291.07 (BTC price divided by minting cost), minting cost is actually what costs an investor to mint a XAU (you invest 291,07$ and you get 1 XAU).

If the price of 1g of gold is 54.80$ then 661$ would buy 661/54.8 = 12.06g. Can you please explain why you mentioned 11.6g?

Can you also please elaborate more on:

so the ratio of gold to xaurum increases.

Thx.

Xaurum ratio is determined by gold reserves/Xaurum money supply, because the gold reserves increase more than the money supply, the base value of all xaurum grows.

Does this mean that for the given example, the base value of a XAU will be 12.06/2.27093139107 = 5.31g ? (Whereas it was 2.26g before the RICO)

No. the additional quantity is divided between all xaurum coins.

OK, I just completely forgot about the XAU in circulation that will be exchanged for XAUR ... So we have XAUR from XAU, minted XAUR from invested crypto and fiat, and gold reserves bought using invested crypto and fiat.
