1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 29, 2017, 01:48:53 PM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?

Maybe I can quit gambling if I decide totally to quit gambling.I will make a way to get busy of something so that I can focus on what Im doing.Maybe in that way I'll never go back to gambling. Its very difficult to do this but all I have to do is to decide so yhat I can quit on gambling totally.
Why do people want to quit if it doesn't cause them any problems? Like if you have some extra money and it is super small around 0.001btc and bet with that, what's so wrong?
The people that should quit are those that are extremely addicted and are losing a lot of their money. The money they should not be gambling with but gambles with anyway, should be the people that quit.

It was their choice, their choice to stop gambling. We do not need to know the reasons why they want to stop because of it's privacy. All they need here is a suggestion to stop gambling forever, not get another question. And do not wait until we get addicted to stop.

We should not really let ourself to come into the point on where gambling addiction is already stick into us.Therefore in earlier times we should really be wary on the possible effects on playing too much gambling. It would really mold us into one if we just neglect on those possible risk.Stopping gambling is somehow do have the same reason on which we dont like to mess up our financial status and our entire life too.

If you even have noticed it and read some of online casino reminders where they really promote responsible gambling among the players on their casino. I even chat with one of the staff of a certain online casinos where he said that if it no longer fun, I better quit an once and be back again in a few hours or day.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 29, 2017, 01:45:07 PM
Bitcoin is strong, and it is supported by a lot of people all around the world. But to think that bitcoin could be a doom for banks... well i do not know. To be honest banks are very strong too, most of people depend on banks for living, therefor banks will stay in our life for a long long time. What is more possible to happen is that the banks will start dealing with bitcoin and accept bitcoin, that is more possible than bitcoin destroying banks.

Banks are already an institution and well regulated by the government. It would be nearly impossible for banks to disappear because of bitcoin but I can really think that when bitcoin will be more accepted by number of people and investors, I think bank can incorporate bitcoin service for their clientele and not necessarily going to be disappeared.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 29, 2017, 01:26:57 PM
I think the best to have a steady income in cryptocurrency is investing on Alt-coins while earning some BTCs. You can't expect to have a steady cash flow if you are lazy. Learn how to trade, invest and be wise in spending what you have earned. Most of the "small & secure" methods tend to fail to deliver when you needed it most while "big & risky" methods are sure to keep you at high hopes but keep in mind the potential losses that come along with it. Always think ahead and anticipate the market. Cheesy

You are correct that you need to work hard to earn some money and not be super lazy. Even when you think that earning some bitcoins requires just lesser amount of time and effort, still you need to work on it in order for you to earn significant money. Better aim at not getting fixed income but rather aim at developing your skills like trading skills in order for you to earn greater amount in the near future once you get the hang on it.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: September 29, 2017, 01:14:32 PM
At a younger age I liked slot machines, but now they do not bring me such pleasure as playing roulette, poker or sports betting. I think gambling machines are good only for beginners.
Slot is played by many people. It is fun. The results don't take long and the moment when you get the same object in the last slot is the most exciting moment that one can experience in his entire life.

The winnings may not be big ones but it does not really matter because in life, money is not everything. I like to play dice also for the exact same reason.

You hit it there mate that money is not everything in life. In fact, I am really willing to buy time with my money if given a chance. Gambling, whether it is dice or slot games (games that are based on luck) should be treated for fun and entertainment. With this in mind, you don't really care whether you will going to gain money or not - the most important thing is you are having fun and entertainment.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 29, 2017, 09:54:16 AM
because now gambling is already a necessity, with the switch of the function then the gambling will be the opiate for the players, because they do not rethink the big risks that will be gained if continue to play gambling.

with due respect, I don't think so that gambling is already a necessity nowadays because there is still majority number of people that do not gamble. However, I could say that due to casinos that are accepting bitcoin as a mode of deposit and cashing out, not to mention that it is very easy to join online casinos that are accepting bitcoin, there will be many people that will be going to gamble in one way or another.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: September 29, 2017, 09:50:24 AM
Bitcoin is the identical as a drug, when a bitcoin person makes use of it properly, then bitcoin will continue to be good. Likewise when used in damaging, bitcoin will be bad. This kind of as cash laundering, payment of criminal offense services and a lot of other point
Wherever there is money there will always be evil following it. As we see bitcoin and its progress, surely there will be many people who are jealous of it and many corrupt people will try and shut it down illegally.

Plus hackers these days are so advanced that they will try and hunt down bitcoin. We need to be careful about it.

the current price of bitcoin and its promising increase in the near future actually lures both good and bad holders of bitcoin. There will always, and we cannot get away with it, people that will transact illegal transactions using bitcoin just like using fiat money.
1047  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 29, 2017, 09:48:14 AM
hen we compare gold and bitcoin, they both seem to be evenly matched.  Bitcoin is ideal for everyday transactions and given the limited amount of bitcoin in circulation, bitcoin will work based on a sound demand and supply concept as any good money should.

Anyway, the exchange prices of Bitcoin seems to be independent of the supply-demand mechanism now. It is mostly news regarding the legalization and forks which is having a maximum effect in the exchange rates. But I am sure that the exchange rates are going to increase in the future, as the number of users is increasing at a rapid pace.

I could not agree with you more mate - news are really the prime movers of significant bitcoin price but when it already stabilizes, we are seeing that bitcoin price is still doin good and has really potential. I also learned my lesson: never ever get affected by the news out there because you are already holding a piece of a fortune already (bitcoin).
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: September 29, 2017, 09:45:49 AM
I simply make money by playing my fave slot game produced by Netent - starburst slot . I cannot boast making hundreds of dollars, nevertheless $100 - 200 is my stable income from that game on a month basis.

wow.. you mean you have this stable income on a monthly basis playing slot games? Although it is just a small amount of money, the fact that you are winning consistently every month by playing dice is something that is amazing. I am wondering how the house edge advantage is at work when you were playing or you just an exceptional lucky guy mate Wink
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: September 29, 2017, 09:43:19 AM
Work is one of the main sources to make money.we can choose any work if we can do it sincerely but can produce,  be it work offline and online. talking about online jobs in the current era we already know the existence of bitcoin, where bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used for payment transactions. with the development of technology created by developers called Shatosi Nakamoto is able to make bitcoin as the best income source, so many people who believe in the features of bitcoin itself. many people are successful with bitcoin because they believe the value of bitcoin will continue to increase so they continue to focus on their online work just to get bitcoin.
Many people focus on bitcoin trading to earn their regular income, they only do basic trading techniques, strategies and always monitor the market price movements so they can quickly generate profits.

making more money means more income sources on 1 source that would pay very well will also make you a lot or more money. regarding the work as the main source of income, I agree to that but I need also to qualify that you can earn a tremendous amount of money when you do business or if you do good with crypto trading versus working. For a start, working is good to get you some capital and when you have some, you can start your own venture and earn even more.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 28, 2017, 12:01:44 PM
Yes, I think Bitcoin can make banks disappear, banks in general are used by people to transfer and receive money, store money (and gain interest by indirectly giving loans to other) and taking loans. Since the introduction of Bitcoin, we have seen some similar service that is going to give people loans in Bitcoin, and those who gives loan will gain interest. The flaw in this system is that there is no collateral (there is collateral at some loans, but majority of it doesn't have collateral instead the loan is taken and given by trust).

I think in the future there will be a dedicated feature in the blockchain that will hold the collateral of the lenders. So yes, Bitcoin may make banks disappear.

I doubt that a lot. What types of collateral will blockchain accept? There are lending sites like BTCJam and I had an interest in investing in sites that are like that. I read, though, that it's not a good idea to do so. People are just using fake IDs. In case someone defaulted on the loan, even though he posted his ID and a picture of him holding the ID, then what? You are not going to fly to another country or do all of the trouble just to chase a couple of bucks, would you? In this forum, there are collateral being accepted but most of the time, it's only the way of the other person to get rid of that collateral. It's like a way to sell that item. And so we ended up in the way loans are given by trust alone. The lender thinks that a hero member wouldn't risk his account getting negged for a couple of bucks but sometimes that is just not the case.

There are even trusted members here that destroyed their trust by getting a loan and not paying.

You have the point there mate. In so far as lending some btc to other people here, no matter what the level of account rank, the risk is there when you are the one offers someone to lend you some btc.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 27, 2017, 06:17:35 PM
IMO, that is how it is in this forum.
Risk is equal to profit or loss.
The higher the risk the higher the profit. I dont think there is more riskier than gambling. Trading have some safety belts that could let you save some of your invested money.
The double your money service, I dont think they are real so erase that from the list. Thise are just scams.

Trade or gamble it is your choice.

Trading is more of finding money and gambling is about having fun. These two are very different because we are not going to have fun while trading but both could make us lose money. The risk is higher with gambling because there is no certainty in it but of course we can win alot of money as well so it depends wether some want to try their luck or not
in term of making money i think both are pretty same , almost there is no difference.

trading gives you some skills to understand how the market moves , how the economics situation influence your daily life etc. it gives you tons good things , and gambling itself just gives you a lot of problem rather than the good one. pretty clear which one you should choose.

gambling should be played just for fun and entertainment only and not a source of your income unless you are playing with games that involves skills like poker and sportsbetting. With trading, it is really kind of fun as well especially if you already know what you are doing and skilled enough to trade in cryptocurrency world.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: September 26, 2017, 10:29:15 AM
The main reason is certainly more practical, we all know that bitcoin is easier to use for online transactions compared to bank transfers, besides bitcoin also become the hope of future investment.

you are correct there.. bitcoin, being a limited resources, offers a good value versus like the fiat money where the government has really no limit of producing it and so inflation happens.. With bitcoin, it won't happen because it will stop producing once it reaches its max cap.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 26, 2017, 10:25:29 AM
Investing in gambling sites is a passive gamble. We can reduce our emotional involvement in this form of gambling so that the opportunity to get the best out of it will be greater. One thing for sure in investing, do not be too often monitor the development of our investment. It'll be better to leave it for a bit longer.
I didn’t get the main idea of this thread. Is it talking about which one is better in gambling vs investing in bitcoins or it is asking about investing in gambling. Is there any investing in gambling too as we have in bitcoins with profit and loss. Anyone can clarify it. Would be thankful for the response.
The question he is asking is weather people should gamble or invest. Gambling we all know is based on luck and also if the site is actually fair while investing is sharing profits with the site when you invest in a site if someone wins big you pay for his profit but at the same time when someone losses you get a shate of the lost amount

In fairness, there are gambling games that are not based on pure luck - it has some skill factors involved in order to win just like the game of poker and sports betting. When you also invest to casino sites, there is also risk in it but that risk is not as high when you are playing as a gambler on that casino.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 26, 2017, 10:22:14 AM
I think most of us are getting hook or addicted to it because we want an easy way to make a money.
And as a result we would mostly be too greedy to gain some profit from it .
Lazy on working, want to earn easy money without moving your own body . Only clicking bla bla bla and easy money. That how people get addicted to gambling. Most of them are lazy working and not responsible person. Gambling isn't for responsible person. Cause they will stay away from it.
Like you said, it is only about making money without doing anything in most cases. Some people do play it for the sake of fun but still majority consider it a source of income. Greed also plays a major role in this. Winning money for once or twice gives hopes to the gamblers that they can accumulate a lot of wealth this way. Ultimately, they ruin themselves.

That is really the start of the problem when people get blinded of the fact that there is a house edge advantage and that you will really most of the time will going to lose in gambling than winning. Hence, you should only play with a little amount of money or money that you can afford to lose.
1055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: September 26, 2017, 10:19:37 AM
I have the common question. How do you understand whn you should to sell your coin? How do you determine it?

I sell the coin when she gave me the profit I planned to get. Then again I buy it if the price is very low. So I get a profit with one coin permanently

The very established and undying principle of buying low and selling high should always prevail in your trading.. Although this is very basic, there are really many traders who fall short in following this due to emotional trading.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: September 26, 2017, 10:17:21 AM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?
There are many ways to earn bitcoin do thats why many people became rich by using this bitcoin. Like signature campaign , twitter , fb campaign it will help to us to earn a lot of bitcoin just do workhard everyday to earn a lot of bitcoin and be patience and have a courage  to use bitcoin.

You are right - there are really many ways to earn and accumulate bitcoins.. for new to the industry and has no big capitals to buy bitcoins, signature campaign is the best place to start with and then you can go to trading and doing some services in exchange of bitcoin.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: September 26, 2017, 10:12:34 AM
It's fun when you have profit... Not so fun when you don't have profit. Find a strategy and stick with it.

You can really have fun even without profit as long as your mindset is just focused on the game and not on earning. You can do this if you play money that you can afford to lose and just play on without minding whether or not you will have some earnings after the gaming session.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 26, 2017, 10:10:55 AM
i would say gambling few months back but as i started trading becauss of too many losses with gambling i now find trading more profitable and more easier than gambling in starting i used to panic when price well but slowly understood how the markets work and now make better money than i make from gambling
Trading is very good domain, It's more better than gambling for me, because when we talk about gambling we talk more about luck and not experience and skills, but in Trading we need an experience and knowledge about altcoins and the markets moves, So I think that Trading is a very good choice comapred to gambling, but we should learn how we can trades first, because without learning we can also lose a lot with trading.

You cant compare trading and gambling. Both have advantages and disadvantages and both attract different types of customers. Traders are mostly professional and they trade to earn a living. Gambling is a game which is play by most people in leisure time and it is not necessarily a fixed income for most of the gamblers.
this is slightly true that in gambling people are more likely to rely on their luck although sometimes use strategy to do so and trading normally skill are necessary because more skilled you then the chance to get profit is very much better but the risk are almost equally same because i have been seen there is a person could lost their money instantly in trading because he was trapped to someone had suggested him to buy the particular coin

the good thing with trading is that, as long as you are trading with high volume altcoins, you will not going to lose until you sell it. So, basically, we can just hold the altcoin we bought if the price is going to go down right after we bought it and will just wait before it increases again and then sell.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 26, 2017, 10:08:30 AM
I think bitcoin  doesnt have a power to destroy banks and even in future  banks will not disappear.   Banks are  strong financial structures and also  are connected  with goverment. goverment  will protect banks if  goverment  take a decision  to do it))))
i think yes that bitcoin is not here to destroy banks, but i am sure that in future bitcoin and banks will worth together, in fact banks are depending on their governments, if their governments will accept bitcoin as legal currency the surely they will also start accepting bitcoin for depositing in banks, and will surely make a system for it, and i am sure that in future we can expect that banks and bitcoin will work together.

That could one of the main problem actually.
If banks will just have to wait for the government actions then it might take a long time. If only they could do it by their own then it could be a good addition to their services to make everything faster instead of seeing a long line of people doing transaction in their banks.

I am pretty sure that banks will wait for the bitcoin being regulated by the government before they even open a service with bitcoin - they want to play it safe because the number or amount of bitcoins that will be transacted to them will surely be insane amount - and if they make it wrong, they will going to lost a fortune for sure.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 26, 2017, 10:04:28 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?

We can be smart players if our opponents are fools or dont know how to play the game well. If all of the players are smart including you then you will just rely on luck to win the game. So if you are not skilled or unfamiliar with that gambling game better you make some observations and practice well first before you enter that gambling or else you will surely lose your money.

In gambling except for card games in other games, we will not have our opponents. One we have to play against the house in casino games or we have to play with our skills in sports betting. So here if we compare house most of the time, we will become fools. so we can't make house fool better way to gambling is when the house started to win and you will be getting loss stop the game and play some other time.

There's actually no smart way except we discipline ourselves and play with rules and limits in order to stand a chance against the house. In such a case you're being smart with your gambling habit and it can lead to a rewarding gambling lifestyle and this is the only smart way apart from that you cannot outsmart the house.

I am not sure what you mean here but yes, there are some strategies employed by professional gamblers which by the way, involved a great deal of discipline to follow. Discipline to control your emotions, discipline to control your greed, discipline to follow strictly your pre-bets strategy, discipline to manage your bankroll into pieces of sessions, and the like.
