3141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you explain the Hard Fork on BTC? on: March 18, 2017, 03:33:08 PM
ok let's make it more simple. you told us york 15 mln x 2 etc...

now let's say someone has 100 BTC in his wallet. as we speak happens the hard fork. what will be the result for this someone?

EDIT: roland we had the same question  to be answered Smiley

Basically it depends where your wallet/coins are.

1. If you use a online wallet/service, you are locked into chain that they choose.  Your coins will be valid still but on that single new chain.

2. If you use a wallet you control, depends on what chain you connect to.  But, just using a local wallet, or a hardware wallet, at least you'll in time be able to choose a chain or other wallet provider you chose by configuration or by restoring your private key seed to a service on the chain you want to transact on.

Technically you could on both I guess if they remain forked after a while and there is not safeguards in place by exchanges/exit ramps to broadcast on both.

you will have 100 BTC  and also you will have 100 BU.

You two are contradicting each other, aren't you??

Say i use blockchain as my webwallet, will i receive BU coins, or BTC coins? is there any statement regarding which chain they will choose?
Same goes for Electrum, what will they choose?

I don't understand the rise of popularity in a hardfork, it looks extremely dumb to me, and with me alot of other traders it looks like, if we see the current prices. Why do they keep pushing it?
3142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping like a stone on: March 18, 2017, 03:06:00 PM
This is just a correction. The price will rise again after it hits bottom. The problem is that we don't know where the bottom is. It could be $1000 or $900 or even lower.
Doesn't look like it yet. Bitcoin has been steadily falling for the last couple days, and we just hit 990$. This is not good, I wonder if this is solely because of the BU hard fork that they are trying to push? Could anyone further explain it?

Looks like it will go further down to atleast 950$.

I'm waiting for $800-900 to sell my house and buy BTC...

That's going to be a very risky investment.  Cheesy
3143  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, what's up with the price? on: March 18, 2017, 02:00:26 PM
But then i sell my core bitcoin for Segwit bitcoin and the amount of coins stays the same right? How can i increase my coin then?

you are mixing things up. the "battle" is between segwit (core) and bucoin (bu). bucoin will be nothing more than an altcoin. if you calculate from there, then it's basically free money in case the fork creates 2 seperate blockchains and you sell bucoin.

But is this why the price drops so much right now?
Am i missing something?

I see that the price went from 1250$ to 1000$ in less then 2 days. Does this all have to day with the battle between SegWit and BU?

3145  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebtc.website needs new PAYING faucets! on: March 18, 2017, 11:31:35 AM
Hi everyone,

After purging a bunch of non-paying faucets from my bitcoin faucet rotator, I realize I really need to build up the list again. If you have any faucets that actually pay out to their users, consistently have a decent balance, and isn't full of popups and scam adverts, feel free to email me your requests or just comment on my rotator list's comment section.

Cheers, and enjoy St Patricks Day Smiley.

Take a look at faucethub.io's faucets. Most of them offer 20-30% referral earnings.

Also almost every premium faucet there pays out instantly, which means there is no way they can't pay, unless they're out of funds, in which case you can wait till they refill, or remove them.

I don't understand why people these days still claim on faucets with minimum 10k withdraw, there is absolutely no need for it with all these better options out there + You're just collecting dust.

let's play the whole weekend  Cool
Smiley Smiley great game to play Cheesy
Do you think that posting with  your alt accounts is going to make it look more legit? 1 Post? 31 posts? Sure thing.

Don't fall for it guys. This is just another ponzi, and once he has enough funds, he is going to run, and you'll never see anything back.

Also, how is this provably fair in any way? I don't think you understand what the meaning is of that sentence. It is used in Dice, and nothing else really. You are already promising to pay back, therefore i don't see a reason to use those terms.

OBVIOUS PONZI SCAMMER. HE IS NOT GOING TO PAY!
3148  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: X - Binary New Scam Site Or Paying - Share Your Experience With This Site on: March 17, 2017, 05:43:44 PM
There is new either scam site or paying - https://x-binary.com/, which promise up to 2500 refferals in downline. Most probably it is simple scam site. Please share your experience with this site.
Whenever i see that they're using a template with proof that they are registered in the UK, i almost puke.

For a review/proof that the site is a scam; http://binaryscamwatchmonitor.com/x-binary-review-scam-hyip/

This site explains in-depth why this site is and can never be legit. It is a clear Ponzi, and it hurts so much that people fail to see/understand it. Please educate yourself before investing.
3149  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcointalk.org Account shop! on: March 17, 2017, 03:54:48 PM
I want to buy #1 senior member account for $7 let me know

Don't. These accounts can not be legit, and it is highly frowned upon.

7$ for a senior account? Seriously?
Why should he sell that when he could make 5x that amount in one week.

He has no signed messages.

He also uses "FOUND ADRESS" Which indicates he did not made the accounts himself, otherwise his grammar would've been something along the lines of "Adresses on Account"

I also find it quite odd that his english grammar is that bad.

"What you buying:"
Seriously? And you are selling highly trusted green accounts? Shut the fuck up.

"All sales are final". Which means you can walk to hell after you bought the account. He has 1 post. Who says he isn't going to run away with your funds?

Im selling dark green trust account legendary and hero pm me if you want it ill be giving the passphrase for sign message aswell

And this is how you defeat the purpose of the trust system on this forum.
3150  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin For Sell! | No Fee | No Documentation Verify | Limited Offer! on: March 17, 2017, 03:04:42 PM
Hello am selling bitcoins!

No Fee!
No Documentation like (ID,Identity Card etc)
Accepted payment method : PayPal (Verified & Unverified is not a problem)

PM me  Wink

You are accepting unverified paypal accounts. Without any other proof/ extra fee?

This is asking for getting scammed.

I am really not sure if you are THAT dumb, or that there is something else going on.

We all know you are a ponzi operator, and willing to scam other users for their pennies. I would advise everyone to NOT deal with him. He has no dignity.

Is there any discounts in your deal? Otherwise, there are many other mediums to buy bitcoins

Actually no, if this was legit, it would've been a ludicrous deal, buying bitcoins without any additional fees (in normal trades this could go up to 25%), using UNverified paypal accounts. but this is not the case.
3151  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AdSense banned on major faucets? on: March 17, 2017, 02:24:08 PM
Yup, this was the thing that happend. But it seems that even if it was invisible, it still wasn't working. Pretty silly that google pushed an update like this this way.
3152  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AdSense banned on major faucets? on: March 16, 2017, 06:37:44 PM
I also noticed recaptcha wants from me to solve multiple captchas, but i dont think this is only for faucets, I would say its global ...

That is just an anti-bot countermeasure,

I am talking about captcha's not showing up on certain sites such as faucethub.io, which made it impossibly to login.

Did anyone else experienced similar issues?
3153  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AdSense banned on major faucets? on: March 16, 2017, 04:02:11 PM
It looks like google trying to block captcha for faucets. The war continue, If faucets stop working there is no please where to earn easy cryptos. I hope this just a small short time bug

Are you sure? You think that recaptcha is having problem ONLY for faucets sites?

No. Captcha's haven't been working on alot of sites today, including advertising networks, and also faucets. It looks like they're working again, which is great

Strange to bump a post from several months ago for such a minor contribution, but ReCaptcha isn't the only captcha service available.  Having now blocked AdSense for faucets, faucets have just moved to other solutions (which do pay less but that's OK, frankly people will use faucets no matter how close they pay to nothing), and equally if ReCaptcha is blocked faucets will find other ways to check if people are robots.

Solvemedia does the job aswell. Not sure why everyone thinks recaptcha is so much better.
3154  Economy / Services / Re: Loading paypals 50/50! Make $1k a day - $3.4k per day! on: March 16, 2017, 02:06:24 PM
I am loading USA PayPals with business debit card!

Requirements:
- Business PayPal Account!
- Business PayPal Debit Card!
- NEW OR AGED PAYPAL!

Contact me:

ICQ: 706444733
Skype: dayz.seller1

what do you service, you can load another people use youre debit card
youre debit card balance is legal or not, because paypal is high secure and can freeze account , if ilegal balance
I load your PayPal with CC's. Instant $3.4k. You then cash that out the way i tell you, via Walmart money-centre and keep $1k to yourself.
No chargebacks will happen for atleast a week, almost guaranteed. Rarely ever get chargebacks, sometimes never do, as the money is from old, limited paypals and aged cc's.

So we are commiting fraud by doing this? I'm pretty sure these cards aren't yours, are they?

Carding is  against the forum rules. I would advise to lock this thread, and move it.

This is not the right forum to do such things on, as you can get into serious legal issues by doing this, and chances of being scammed by this user with 3 posts is extremely high aswell.
3155  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: coinmedia login issue on: March 15, 2017, 10:34:50 PM
I have received an e-mail with Password recovery on coinmedia but I didn't ask for Password recovery!

3156  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: double-my-btc.com - legit opportunity or scam? on: March 15, 2017, 09:56:33 PM
Hi,

I've just invested 0.01 coins on http://double-my-btc.com and they sent me 0.02 back (12 hours later).
I guess they did that because they want me to invest more and finally rip me off? I'm not sure but I think it has to be a scam or ponzi?!

Does someone know this site?

Thanks!

I am really not sure if this is a legit question, or, that you are indirectly trying to promote this site by saying it is paying you 0.01, which, is quite a lot for ponzi's nowadays.

And yes, ofcourse they want you to invest more and more and more, because it is a HYIP/PONZI
Look up the meaning if you haven't already.

Soon you'll discover that these end up scamming you. Don't reinvest in them. You've been very lucky to get paid.

About this site;

Site uses what looks to me just another iffy-diffy template, but it has been around for longer. Still doesn't mean they don't use whaleing techniques. (= Paying out small investors and only catching the big ones-)

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/double-my-btc.com

See their traffic stats, They're mostly from their advertising campaigns, and some yt/google clicks.

WHO.IS is protected aswell as their about post giving 0 concrete proof of being a legit business.

Stay out! IT IS A SCAM
3157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinman1 real thread. Erasing posts to make him look like a freaking saint! on: March 15, 2017, 09:13:28 PM
Well, I have been in conversation with Mixan on the issue and I found that he has no accusation besides the  one with coinman1 who himself is alt of some scammer.
If both the parties want the issue to be settled ten I can be mediator and help them.

Not sure what still can be settled?

Mixan has proven to be an ignorant child, who instead of looking for a solution for his 50 bucks, starts screaming and yelling, trying to DOX him, threathening him, harassing him.

It could be true what he is telling, but this is not the way to get us on your side, it only weakens your message and your arguments.

And this is just an outsider look on it, i don't know either of those parties.
