2341  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan for a surgery, serious topic. on: November 15, 2017, 06:08:00 PM
I have a problem with my left arm, my medic says its a tumor (non cancerous) that should be removed as soon as possible to evade further infections.
Normally the surgery in my country can be done for free using the medical card and social security but i am not in my home country right now and can't get back because my home was foreclosed and i am still fighting with the bank for it. Will be back in 1 or 2 months before the trial, it can get worse before that time.

I need to operate it in at least 5 days and i don't have enough money because i just paid my monthly bills and my rented apartment and only have money for basic needs as food. I need 300 EURO and will pay a 10% of interests in 2 weeks after my payday. My monthly income is 900 EURO.

I found this forum on google while looking for a lend, i saw a lot of results but with very high interests so i registered here to ask.
I don't like begging money/donations for a surgery, i prefer to lend the money and pay medical bills for my own, this is not an urgent surgery but rather preventive.
I tried to duplicate what you did, typed lend in Google and it didn't give me the same results that you have that lead you to this forum. This kind of sob story has been heard of so many times and unfortunately this will not work here any more. if you need immediate help then go to your friends or relatives to help you out because you will need a collateral before someone will lend you money here.
By relatives you mean your mother?
By collateral you mean her vibrator?

2342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: google search term: mining on: November 15, 2017, 04:32:34 PM
Ok im totally new here because i arrived searching what means to have a miner id on a downloading site:
it is safe it takes all ur internet speed?
google is very poor information about this
the only related information was bitcoin mining guess its similar stuff?

Download faster by mining download traffic.
You receive 1024 bytes per share.
With mined traffic you can download at full speed.

Mining uses your cpu power to solve mathematical problems

You need to choose a miner id and remember it.

Be careful with the amount of threads. Set it too high and your computer could freeze.

again im new so forgive me for just making a topic(this forum is huge+rich stuff to read)

This seems like some website is trying to limit your download speed, unless you mine ( Monero ) for them, which seems a bit ridiculous to me.

They basically use your hardware, in exchange for a "higher" / non-limited download speed. The script they used was probably -> https://coinhive.com/

May i ask you what site you were trying to download something from? Piratebay?

If you're inclined to know what bitcoin mining is all about, give this a read,

2343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: forgot my wallet! on: November 15, 2017, 03:54:34 PM
Hi everyone,
my name is chris and i,m a absolute beginner in the world of cryptocurrency!
I think i have a problem,i bought a few litecoins, and the only thing i have is the receive address off the wallet, and not the name off the wallet,i sent the company where i bought te Litecoins a message if the can find the wallet maybe, but the can not.
I looked in my browser history, but i cant find it. Undecided
Is there a other way to find out where my litecoins are at this moment?
I have only the receive adress and date, i know it sound stupid but it was my first buy, now i have a harware wallet so no more problems withe that.

Thnxs,

Chris

If your wallet was on an exchange / service / mining pool / gambling site, it could be that you would be able to find it through this site, https://www.walletexplorer.com/

You stated that you have a hardware wallet NOW, which indicates that you didn't have one back then??

Which makes it much more likely that you might have stored it on an exchange. See if it gets you any results.

2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins in corrupted wallet.dat with transactions shown? on: November 14, 2017, 09:09:50 PM
Here's the deal.  I haven't been able to dump private key for any version of the wallet.dat that I have.  The problem seems to be that the wallet from my old installation of Windows HAS A LAST MODIFIED DATE THAT IS OLDER than the transactions which funded the wallet address in question. Since the backup of the wallet seems to be prior to receiving the BTC, is this why I have no key for this address?  AND WHAT DO I DO ABOUT IT? I'm desperately looking to recover a wallet file (if it exists) from my drive using recovery software.

Have you written down the seed of your wallet somewhere? Would be much easier to just recover everything using that.

Also, i'm assuming you're using Bitcoin Core?
2345  Other / Meta / Re: Someone is selling bitcointalk database? on: November 14, 2017, 07:41:45 PM
Hello I was looking for a registration link for an online game in my spam box until i notice this email saying that he's selling bitcoin database and it was sent to me 4 hours ago is this true? if in that case i should change my password now here is the link if the image didin't worked https://imgur.com/a/AVVJV

Yes, this could be true, the bitcoin database got hacked back in 2013 and its content were being sold on the deep web, https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/hacked-bitcointalk-org-user-data-goes-up-for-sale-on-dark-web/

If you had an account back in 2013 with a weak password, it would be wise to change it as they could easily be cracked.

2346  Economy / Services / Re: Searching for someone who can make a professional website on: November 14, 2017, 06:53:45 PM
Hello,

iam searching for someone that can make a professional website.

Because i have no idea how to make a website.

It is a company that convey people to other companys where the people work.

Some other companys in that part of business sector has sites like this:

http://www.elsen-pm.com/de/startseite.html
http://www.headway-group.com/
http://www.workservice.de/

What would be cost to make a full extraordinary site?

Something like this you mean? https://bootstrapmade.com/demo/Knight/

You could get it for as much as 0$ actually, plus you can edit any file to your liking. Simply remove or change things you don't like, and keep what you want. It's for commercial use aswell.

There's hundreds of these kinds of templates out there, check https://bootstrapmade.com/

Hello,

Thank you Smiley Grin

Hi, how much would you charge for installing some custom PHP scripts, they need MySQL aswell. Please PM me with your price, and we might be able to make a deal.

I do want to see your portfolio / previous work.

2348  Other / Meta / Re: Image invalid on: November 14, 2017, 05:27:21 PM
Hi,

I have an issue with my picture not showing up in a thread. That's pretty annoying cause it's almost all the informations that are in this picture.
I'm a newbie, so I asked someone to quote me, but than it says "image proxy, invalid image"

I hosted them on 3 differents website, but the result is the same.

here's the thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2389812.0

that's the code :
["img"]http://https://i.imgur.com/HzPPB1h.jpg["/img"]

is it because it's include in an url, which is :
["url=https://biometrids.io/"]
["img"]http://https://i.imgur.com/HzPPB1h.jpg["/img"]
["/url"]

thanks for your help

The link seems dead to me, http://www.https.com//i.imgur.com/HzPPB1h.jpg gives a 404 not found.

Try reuploading the image, and let them quote your new url, it should work just fine with a working url.

EDIT: remove the http://{{www.https.com//}} part. its absolutely unnecessary.

Simply use https://i.imgur.com/HzPPB1h.jpg

but then with ['img']['/img']

thank you for the quick and wise answer
I must be tired, I never noticed the double "http"

I have changed that now lets see, had to find someone to quote (newbie are picture-banned Grin)

No problem, not sure if you knew this, but if you really want to be able to post pictures as a newbie member, ( for hosting ICO's / sale threads etc ), you can buy a Copper membership here ->

2350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CASH sent from Hashnest but never arrived in wallet! on: November 14, 2017, 04:12:39 PM
Hi,

so I have sent some BCH from a Hashnest wallet to an Electron Cash Wallet on my own computer - the funds never arrived.
On the Hashnest it says "Confirm"

I have checked my address on https://blockchair.com/ = and it confirms that the balance is what it should be - but the coins I sent last night are not in my wallet.

Could this be an Electron Cash wallet issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try to check if this is also the case on other bitcoin cash blockexplorers.
If it states that it indeed arrived to your wallet, then yes, there is probably an error with your wallet, ( might not be updated ).

Would you mind posting your TX id so i could look into it a bit further?
2351  Other / Meta / Re: I'm getting a cloudflare error on Bitcointalk.com on: November 14, 2017, 03:39:43 PM
I'm posting this on Bitcointalk.org, as I assume that is a mirror site. The error I'm getting is -
 Error 502 Ray ID: 3bdaa8d6f3583683 • 2017-11-14 14:28:50 UTC

This is with two different WiFi providers in different geographic locations.

Is this a server problem, and am I OK posting to the .org forum?

I guess so, I've never even used Bitcointalk.com, and i assume that the domain has nothing to do with the bitcointalk.org, since the who.is are different, see

https://who.is/whois/bitcointalk.com
https://who.is/whois/bitcointalk.org

I don't think bitcointalk.com is owned by bitcointalk.org, and wouldn't trust it.
2352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe not to pay miners fee? on: November 13, 2017, 09:04:51 PM
your btc won't be delivered unless you pay a fee. 0.0028 btc is too much but your transaction will be returned after some time if you don't pay a fee.

Is sending only 0.00001 btc enough instead of the dynamic fee of 0.0028 btc?

This really depends on the memory pool, when it is/ would be almost empty, you could get a confirm within 1-3 days.

Unfortunately for you, it is currently absurdly high, there's a backlog of over 200k transactions i believe. See https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-size?

You could try it, but i doubt it that your TX will get confirmed.
2353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie: How to reply messages on: November 13, 2017, 08:33:21 PM

I am new here. I really need to get started.

I want to reply messages,  just stuck.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know why they make it so hard for newbies!
It's really hard, kinda confusing, sort of frustrating. I hope it gets better soon.
These are the instructions:

1. Click "reply" above the post you want to reply to
2. Write your message
3. Click "Post"
______________________________________________________________
Thanks. I just hope this helps.

Is this your first day on the internet, or are you really that desparate to get activity for another newbie account? Geez. You should take a minute to read what you just typed. It makes absolutely no sense.

Hell, it is on the verge of being funny at this point, My god.

Also, you're copy pasting, only 1 report would already net you a permanent ban, so i'm already convinced that you aren't going to last very long, together with your other 2 accounts..
2354  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Relatively* new to mining, recommendations? on: November 13, 2017, 08:25:22 PM
1) It depends on what you want to spend, and what your return could be in the meantime, From what I hear if you buy it from a re seller the Warranty disappears (you would need to ask them about that)
2) No this means that all orders from this batch will ship on the 11th or there abouts. If you miss this batch  you would be waiting for the next batch. They are out of stock when it doesn't give you the option to buy.
3) That's up to you to decide, going back to my first point. I also haven't heard much in the way that Bitmain has a new product launch expected.
4)If you search the Forum you will find a few recommendations for quality PSU's, but like NotFuzzy said, don't cheap out. My advice also would be do not get multiple psu's, powering one board by each, usually leads to headaches.

New to mining and yet have 504 activity and 1292 posts here Huh  I take it you bought this account?

I guess relatively is relative, lol.

Thanks, this clears up alot of questions i had about BITMAIN and resellers in general. Batches don't have a timeframe, but rather a rate limited, out of stock -/- out of stock. Kind of annoying that they are so non-transparent about it. It bugs me a bit knowing that every day i wait with buying one that i might need to wait another 3 months to get it shipped.

I've done some GPU-mining with nicehash, But i wouldn't count that as real mining, hence the title  Wink
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unspent on BlockCypher on: November 13, 2017, 07:14:12 PM
Hi guys,

I bought some BTC on Coinbase and sent it to Bittres, Coinbase confirmed the transaction but I was wondering what was taken so long. I followed the address on BlockCyher and I can see that 1. I sent it to the wrong address and 2. My BTC is UNSPENT. How can I get them back to my wallet? BlockCypher does not have customer service. Not that I know of. Can you help?
Thanks so much!

If BlockCypher does not offer customer support, and you sent them to the wrong adress, there is nothing that can be done.

Unspent simply means that it is "Available" in the adress/wallet that it is sitting on, eg, not being spent.

How did you manage to sent it to the wrong adress? You copy pasted it?

Also, Blockcypher is simply a block explorer. There's absolutely nothing they can do about your transaction being received on the wrong adress.. I think you were referring to http://bittrex.com ?
2356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Dumping Hidden Bitcoin Core Addresses on: November 13, 2017, 03:27:25 PM
I sent some BTC to myself and the address came up n/a.

Then I sent some BTC (which is locked up for a while unconfirmed) and I can see what the receiving address is from the n/a but it's not in my list on my wallet so I figure it's one of my 100?

Can I just dump all hidden addresses somehow to get that private address, or can I just hit make new address until it shows?

Thanks.

Since you're sending to yourself, bitcoin Core thinks it is "change"
Quote
What you are seeing is a "change address". When you send an amount that is less than you originally received, it sends the whole amount, and returns the difference to your wallet as "change". This change may not be spendable until the transaction is confirmed. The change address is different each time, which makes it harder for a third party to tell for sure how much is sent to which wallet. If you are not interested in privacy, you can use a different wallet (such as Electrum) which has an option to not use change addresses -- in that case the change would go back to your original address instead of to a new change address.

Quote
walletpassphrase 600 dumporivkey "Receivingadress"
// To get the receiving adress, use "listaddressgroupings" and it should list all of the adresses on which it could possibly be stored -- the "change"

Or, bitcoind listaddressgroupings
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin fullnode error on: November 13, 2017, 03:05:49 PM
After import private key - error -6, what happens?

Try to do it again with the debug.log open, and see what result it generates, and then post that here. -error -6 doesn't tell me anything.

Or if you already have the debug.log, remove the IP adresses and post it here, so we can exactly see what the problem is.
2358  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Relatively* new to mining, recommendations? on: November 13, 2017, 02:58:19 PM
I am going to start mining in the near future. I was thinking about buying a Antminer S9-13.5TH/s directly from BITMAIN.

https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020171110160546640l4g92i60062E

I have a couple questions,

1. Is it smart to buy directly from them or should i search for a reseller in europe?

2. Their next shipping is Jan 11. Does this mean that every order before Jan 11. will be shipped to me, and if not, how do i know that they're out of stock?

3. Wouldn't it be smarter to wait untill they release a newer version of their miner, or shouldn't i worry about that?

4. They recommend using their APW3++ for  ATX PSU, which is another 100-200$, including shipping to europe, see https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020171107201722598O4kMWe280658

Isn't there something that does this job for cheaper on eBay? Is it really necessary?

Thanks for your time!
2359  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB Verified Gmail account on: November 12, 2017, 09:09:36 PM
Looking for a verified Gmail account. Will pay $3 for it.  Shoot me a PM if you have one and are willing to sell.  No red trust members please.

Verified by phone you mean?

3$ is overkill man, you can sent 3$ to http://smspva.com/ and verify 30 gmail accounts with them. Mostly RU numbers, but they aren't VOIP and work pretty good.

Not sure if it's allowed by their TOS though, so use it at own risk.
2360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! Bitcoin sent to Bitcoin cash wallet on: November 12, 2017, 09:04:46 PM
If you can get a private key of the Bittrex address you sent the coins to then yes. Otherwise, no.

I don't think bittrex is going to give you their privatekeys.
Best bet would be to contact their support, but as you've stated they told you they couldn't ( didn't want to ) do anything, so yeah, your money // BCH is indeed indefinitely lost.
