2641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoinchain.com is it a dead website? on: August 27, 2017, 03:25:13 PM
Hi all,

I'm new here and new to bitcoin world altogether and I want to mention my recent experience with this website: bitcoinchain.com

I opened an online wallet on it and I started test mining for couple of days on my current gaming hardware before investing in a new rig. So I got my payment in bitcoin and to my surprise the wallet wasn't updating the amount even after 24 hours.

Of course I was able to find the deposit on blockchain.info against my address. I tried finding the wallets private key but there isn't any hint of it on the wallet's web interface. I do have a 12 word passphrase and I'm able to access the wallet.
If you go to the blockchain explorer on bitcoinchain.com you'll find that the latest blockchain date was on 04/30/2017. How can people abandon their website like this?

Am I doing something wrong? does my description make any sense?

Yes. If you still have the 12 word passphrase from your wallet, you should install "mycelium wallet", or "electrum wallet" and import the seed there.

It indeed seems like their site stopped working, they're stuck on block 464185.
If you haven't already moved your wallet out, i would do it as soon as possible, and create another, and sent the funds to that one of which you are sure isn't shared with any 3rd party, since this site may also know your seed, since you are telling us you created your wallet there, right?
2642  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Account activations by SMS on: August 26, 2017, 04:05:48 PM
I am interested. Please PM me free number.  Smiley
That's not how it works. PM me for what service you need the number for.

I need verification for vk.com and telegram. RESERVED 1 verification.

PM'd you. Tell me when you're ready to verify for telegram. There's a specific timeframe in which it needs to happen, therefor you need to PM me back.
2643  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Account activations by SMS on: August 26, 2017, 11:37:19 AM
Sending an sms for any account , if needed in future won't create a backdoor for this kind of verification ? I am also interested to know if I could offer 0.4 usd per SMS verification then what will be the quantity of numbers you would be able to provide per day ? Let me know if you provide in bulk .
Yes. I do provide in bulk. You offer 0.4$ for what service exactly? Instagram, facebook, twitter.

As a note, i am using a 3rd party for this, so yes, this could indeed be used as a backdoor by them. - I have zero control over the number itself -, although i think this is highly unlikely, however, if you don't trust it, don't use it. I can't garantuee anything, but chances are very slim.

I have over 300 numbers available for most of the sites.

The service you are asking for is WeChat and infact I would need this for a third party too. But the quantity I would be eeding is way too high which is around 1000 numbers per day !
the third party i am using right now can provide 300+ numbers for WeChat immediately.. Not sure how often they "refuel" their numbers - my guess is that they check them daily -, but we might be able to work something out here?

Either way i'm online right now if anyone needs a verification.

2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A hacker stole $31M of Ether  on: August 24, 2017, 04:48:26 PM
Yesterday, a hacker pulled off the second biggest heist in the history of digital currencies.
Around 12:00 PST, an unknown attacker exploited a critical flaw in the Parity multi-signature wallet on the Ethereum network, draining three massive wallets of over $31,000,000 worth of Ether in a matter of minutes. Given a couple more hours, the hacker could’ve made off with over $180,000,000 from vulnerable wallets.
But someone stopped them.

Having sounded the alarm bells, a group of benevolent white-hat hackers from the Ethereum community rapidly organized. They analyzed the attack and realized that there was no way to reverse the thefts, yet many more wallets were vulnerable. Time was of the essence, so they saw only one available option: hack the remaining wallets before the attacker did.

By exploiting the same vulnerability, the white-hats hacked all of the remaining at-risk wallets and drained their accounts, effectively preventing the attacker from reaching any of the remaining $150,000,000.
Yes, you read that right.

To prevent the hacker from robbing any more banks, the white-hats wrote software to rob all of the remaining banks in the world. Once the money was safely stolen, they began the process of returning the funds to their respective account holders. The people who had their money saved by this heroic feat are now in the process of retrieving their funds.

It’s an extraordinary story, and it has significant implications for the world of cryptocurrencies.
It’s important to understand that this exploit was not a vulnerability in Ethereum or in Parity itself. Rather, it was a vulnerability in the default smart contract code that the Parity client gives the user for deploying multi-signature wallets.

This is all pretty complicated, so to make the details of this clear for everyone, this post is broken into three parts:
What exactly happened? An explanation of Ethereum, smart contracts, and multi-signature wallets.
How did they do it? A technical explanation of the attack (specifically for programmers).
What now? The attack’s implications about the future and security of smart contracts.

Is there any explanation online on how the hack could have happend? The technical details behind it? This seems pretty big to me. Wondering why i haven't really heard about it.

Come on guys. Go easy on the bait. Just take a look at his message history, and it will become very obvious that this is all a lie.

Some posts of him that made me giggle.

Here he is trying to buy a (probably) stolen spotify code.

Quote
nterested, sent pm!  but can you please guarantee that this is not hacked or stolen (i.e. stolen from store) codes? if I bought it and it would be like this then I'd feel like shit.

thank you buddy!

He has also translated multiple ICO's to his own language. ( German.). Does that sound like something a billionaire would do?

2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos ICO Invest or not? on: August 23, 2017, 03:55:21 PM
Where is Ann thread that is actively talking about tezos! I heard tezos have it's own blockchain! If this is true? How diffrent is tezos blockchain and will i be able to mine?
I don't think they have an official ICO/ ANN thread? the only think i could find was this, bare in mind, it's written in russian, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1923323.0

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/68hga1/tezos_red_flags/dgz8kmi/?st=j6p78t85&sh=2ad10f19

According to this thread, and the comment, they do indeed not have an ico thread. However this was 3 months ago. I might be missing something.

Also, Tezos is POS, which means you can't mine it. You get rewards for the amount of tezos you hold.
2649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: sorry poloniex I withdrew my alt coins from you on: August 22, 2017, 06:44:53 PM
Obviously i suggest you to use cryptopia and bittrex because last some days i am facing this kind of problem. There is withdrawal problem, support are not caring. For this i have already moved my majority coin cryptopia and bittrex. But after all hope this reputed organization will come back with strongly and actively.

Cryptopia? You really trust cryptopia over poloniex?

They have no balance, no support team, ( nothing compared to polo ), no volume.

Polo already has more volume then bittrex again, and i really despise the UI of bittrex.

If only bittrex would fix marginal trading, fix their UI, they would be the top exchange. but then again, won't they also get support issues once they get as big as polo?

I think poloniex is one of the best trading site. I cannot  really understand why there are many information  against their activities. I have been using poloniex.com and never have any problems with them. Is there any benefits other exchangers trading platform are enjoying that we are not enjoined at poloniex?

Same. I use both bittrex and polo with decent trading amounts, and never had any problems with any of the sites.

2650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ether now or wait? on: August 22, 2017, 06:18:28 PM
Right got a decent sum of money being transferred and should be ready to trade in 2 days.

Plan is to invest it into Ico's that i find interesting, maybe 10 ico's.

Should i be investing straight away due to the upcoming metroplolis updates next month?

How do you reckon the price will go over the next few weeks?

I'm seeing that Ethereum is getting dumped a bit now so it's not a bad time to invest even though if we check the price for a week or a month it's really high.

Dumped for the month being yes, if you're looking for longterm, i'd say anytime is a good time right now to buy eth. Due to relative currency strength it's value will rise with bitcoin in $ most of the time anyway.

My guess is that in a few months you could either pick it up for under 250$, or for over 500$. September is going to be a rough month for eth.

( FED gov bankruptcy and possible POS https://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-big-switch-the-new-roadmap-to-proof-of-stake/? ) could make the price of eth increase by ALOT.
2651  Economy / Services / Re: WeiMixer.com Ethereum Mixer | Signature Campaign | $3/post | Jr. and Above on: August 22, 2017, 05:11:27 PM
as yo are quite new to forum and dong signature camping can you add some fund in escrow because  as i cane see You paying $3 per post which is quite high right now and you allow max 50 user so so per day approx $100 you have to pay ..if all slot are booked ..so its better to do some escrow. hope you do tit soon
Quote
This campaign is automatic you don't have to wait for anyone to approve your application.
All you have to do is register your Bitcointalk userID on our website and you are ready to go.

3$ p. post for senior/hero. They can make up to 60 posts a week. That's 180$ per member. Lets say 50% is Sr. member and up.

25*180 = 4500$p/w.

Then we still have ~ 25 full members / members/ jr members.

Lets count another 500$.

That's 5000$, a week, if not more.

Now i am not here to trash your campaign, i just have my concerns about it, that anyone with a brain should have..

Your mixer is relatively new, and there is no escrow for the funds. Do you have any wallet you are going to be paying from which has funds in them?

Is it from your mixer's bankroll?

The fact that you are letting people in with a history of signature spamming, which have multiple alt accounts, or have scammed other people on this forum, and yet you pay them 3$ per post?

I really hope this is a legit campaign, but i have my doubts. We'll see in a week i guess.

2652  Economy / Services / Re: 🌟🌟🚀🔵🔵 Very targeted traffic! Ideal for your ICO! 🔵🔵🚀🌟🌟 on: August 22, 2017, 05:03:26 PM
I'm really intrested in customers that want to buy traffic not in promoting for ICO's

Is what you are doing blackhat? Because it sounds to me that these users don't want those popups for sure.

Are you buying traffic from "installs" aka people which are part of a botnet, or is this 100% legit, and it could be for sure, but why would they install a toolbar which continously gives them popups?

Also, how can we check you actually deliver anything? Your prices seem high for just 25k visitors, even if they are a 100% legit.. Conversion rates aren't that high.

I don't think it is blackhat! Yes people never ask for popups but they can uninstall the toolbars whenever they want!
If you would buy 500K visitors and you make 160.000 dollars in sales for your ICO thats not bad right?!
If you are seriously intrested we can arrange a try out or an escrow
Well, i don't have my own ICO yet. This might be something that could be very useful to me in the near future. I just don't get why people would use a toolbar which gives them random popups. (adware?).

I don't think you want that kind of publicity around your ICO, ( that you used adware to promote it.).

I'm interested to see some reviews about your services first, and conversion rates.

2654  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitCoin Mixer - BitMix.Biz on: August 22, 2017, 12:48:12 PM
chrome is blocking your site.
Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from bitmix.biz (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).
You almost sounded surprised mate, did you expect a newbie to be the professional mixer like the old Bitmixer? you should never trust a new service

Specially not a new mixing service claiming to be the legitimate replacement of a well known service such as Bitmixer. for now the best alternative is

Chipmixer and we should all wait at least 2-3 months before even opening this one.

As if time would prevent a service from turning into a scam. I don't think this service is legit, as it did not disclose everything about like how other bitcoin mixing service worked before. I would not trust a service out of the bat especially when there is no trustworthy person backing this up. I would just mix my coins in the old mixing services.

The fact that they do not give any information about their mixing / bankroll makes this seem like an obvious scam in an already dead project. What we really need is another mixer backed/operated by DT1/2 members of this community.
Thanks for check our site for vulnerabilities Grin we are working Smiley

Do you plan on lowering the 0.05BTC minimum mixing amount? Also is there any way we can ensure you're legit / how can we see your ""bankroll"".

Also, if i were to invest in your site, how would my funds be controlled? What do you mean by "endless"? You are going to give me 50% of your operating money each year/month/day/ ?

Also is it just you behind this project? How can we trust that you don't run away with these funds?

I don't think they are taking any investment as of now. And why anyone would mix anything below 0.05?
Seems like a good replacement of Bitmixer.
The site is well built with API support for external sites.

Problem is trust. I do not see how they can convince me yet. They have noone backing their services..
Smaller transactions? Not everything i buy is 200$, and to mix everything sounds stupid with the level of trust they currently have.
2655  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Pump & Dump Trading Bot | Free on: August 21, 2017, 05:20:33 PM
So what is this bot doing exactly? Buying / Selling at an insane rate or?

Is this bot compatible with yobit only or also polo/bittrex?
Do you maybe have a video of the bot and its features explained in it? That would be extremely useful.

i just want to know what is problem solving coin? do btc solve any problems?its just like gold, its value come from the belief instead of use

And why do you think there is any belief in bitcoin?

Because bitcoin solves problems which no other currency does.

That's where the value is coming from, not because its like gold. there's a reason behind it.

Bitcoin is semi-anonimous, can be used all over the world, without any restrictions made by government/ nor does the/ any government control bitcoin ( there are restrictions, but they can never enforce those, if you use bitcoin the right way..)
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INGT coin on: August 21, 2017, 09:18:07 AM
I looked at this coin and she immediately did not like me. I do not think that it deserves our attention. In it there is nothing special and it will not be expensive

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2105348.new#new
Here it is written that there will be an update. And they will change old coins to new ones. And there will be another course. Count yourself and understand my interest.

I see now. Seems a bit scummy from yobit to keep continuing with the trading of the old version of the coin. I see some people are buying these old coins in large amounts, sometimes for over 0.1BTC, and they get nothing in return.

Does yobit usually do this or? Should i contact them to get the coin removed or do they not care at all?
2659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INGT coin on: August 20, 2017, 05:55:33 PM
Are you talking about (INGT) = INGOT COIN? It's listed on yobit for 1 satoshi, https://yobit.net/en/trade/INGT/BTC but it really does look like a scam to me.

Here's some more info on the coin https://twitter.com/yobitexchange/status/891698204953202689

https://unityingot.com/

It seems that they are ""relaunching" their coin in 40 days.

That's some weird shit, i would be very careful with them if i was you.
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Successful ICOs? on: August 20, 2017, 05:42:37 PM
Tezos and Bancor are the most successful, because they gathered the most amount of $$$.

In terms of actual Dapp success, BAT seems to have formed some nice partnerships rather quickly, Golem has something working, TaaS and ICN are working as promised.

Not for customers/speculators.

Bancor is currently valued at 2.59$,  https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/bancor/ while the ico was 0.01 ETH = 4$ at the time.

I'm having trouble finding the original Tezos ICO Price, but it went from 0.006 to 0.003 this month alone. Crowdsale is just over a month, so i wouldn't call it that great.

Unless you view it from a companies side, i really wouldn't call these the best / most successful ico's.
