Has your address changed yet? What's weird is I got the same email, and as of today, all of my deposit addresses across all three coins are still the same as they were before the notice was put out. And I made a couple small deposits to them today to test and they are still being credited as they should.

I've been able to identify at least 3 deposits that did not get credited to my account. It may be that I've been using much 'older' addresses than you. I've been a Bitfinex customer for almost two years I think. Anyway, I used a new address today and it worked fine. Still, keep encountering issues like this withdrawal from Bitpoker.io that I would like to CANCEL and redirect to another wallet.

Got my withdrawal processed really quickly!

Also they recently did another audit and they have 22 more btc in their wallets.

And 24 hour volume is at 29k.

Your shilling is a bit too obvious Chris ... not necessarily reassuring.
1843  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Coinut.com - The only Bitcoin Options Exchange on: May 27, 2015, 05:03:24 AM
Withdrawals are quick, yes.

But it is currently impossible to download historical activity or current positions to excel ... and the site doesn't provide any performance stats.

These are basic features for a trading site guys. It is currently too unwieldy to keep track of any sizeable portfolio of positions.

And what is the formula for your index?Huh

How often is it recalculated?!?

If only your market makers know these details, you've built in an advantage for them ...
1844  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BitPoker.io - A New Poker Experience! - Levelled Faucet - LAUNCH GIVEAWAY ★ on: May 27, 2015, 04:22:24 AM
I have a similar issue, but my small withdrawal is hung up while the larger has gone through.

Admin - CAN YOU PLEASE CANCEL MY PENDING withdrawal from 20 May?!?

The address I provided is apparently compromised at Bitfinex' end, and feeds to some hacker's account ... lol. If you could cancel that pending transaction and make the chips available, I would be most appreciative.

My username is: Indamuck
This is in reference to a pending withdrawal from 20 May for 0.0135 btc.

This notice was put out by Bitfinex soon after i had submitted the withdrawal request:

"Urgent action required
Posted: 21 May 22:21

Dear Customer although we keep over 99.5% of users' BTC deposits in secure multisig wallets, the small remaining amount in coins in our hot wallet are theoretically vulnerable to attack. We believe that our hot wallet keys might have been compromised and ask that all of our customer cease depositing cryptocurrency to old deposits addresses. We are in the process of creating a new hot wallet and will advise within the next few hours. Although this incident is unfortunate, its scale is small and will be fully absorbed by the company. Thanks a lot for your patience and comprehension. Bitfinex Team"

It's amusing how 2 of the questions are about your mom Cool And what is the opposite definition of an ass clown?

The opposite of 'ass clown' is ... 'not an ass clown.'

Most players fall into that latter category.

You are welcome.

Pls change my deposit address - that address is for a Bitfinex account that apparently has been compromised. (BFX made an announcement recently, you may be aware.) Ugggh ...

New address: 34aCtYGJMM53YC4VV4scfjW2B4thFNuASk

You need to sign this message with that address.

Ok, guess I have to figure out how to sign a message with an address. (?!?!?!) I know I know ... but really, bitcoin is dead if grandma and aunt mary have to jump through hoops like this to keep their coins safe.

Meanwhile, please don't send any coins to that old address.

Take the quiz Troll, you know who you are.

Has there been any update since the compromise?!?

It seems I'm missing a couple 'dust deposits,' and I have several that are pending for my old address. Obvious concern is that all deposits to BFX are vulnerable ... what to do?
1850  Economy / Gambling / Are you a Poker Troll? Take this simple Quiz! on: May 26, 2015, 03:53:37 AM
1.   After felting in a tournament, do you hang around the room bad-mouthing the play of the remaining players, the very ones who crushed your soul and sent you packing?
2.   Do you regularly find yourself borrowing mom’s credit card after a particularly bad run?
3.   Do you find that many of your opponents seem to have some odd familiarity with your mother?
4.   Have your friends and opponents given you an affectionate nickname, such as ‘ass clown’ ?
5.   Do you spend hours churning freerolls on second-tier btc poker sites, extolling your phenomenal poker skills and experience?
6.   Were you directed to this quiz by your poker opponents?
7.   Do you regularly find yourself whining to poker site admin about other players?
8.   Do you feel an overwhelming need to refute, denigrate, or otherwise dismiss the results of this quiz?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to three or more of the questions above, you are a Poker Troll or, more affectionately, Ass Clown.

Now you know.

@Indamuch have you traded the 30 minute options? They're awesome.  Really good when we finally get volatility and move around.

It seems like the market maker needed to adjust their odds a bit too.

Well, for a couple days I had been raping the market maker on the 30-min binary options, so it doesn't surprise me that they have all but abandoned that effort. I'm saddened, but not surprised ...

Question for OP: Please tell us the algorithm for calculating your proprietary index:

How often is it re-calcuated?
What are the inputs?
What is the formula?

If you could be precise, that would be most appreciated.

1852  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Coinut.com - The only Bitcoin Options Exchange on: May 21, 2015, 08:57:08 PM
Hope you guys are working on a reiteration of the trading page. After only a handful of positions the 'open positions' window becomes unwieldy. Rather than listing every single transaction separately perhaps you can consolidate positions by using an 'average price' and allow customers to filter via expiration, etc. Ultimately for a trader that is what is important, not all the accounting detail you are cramming in their now. That can be presented or made available somewhere else, in my view.

Thanks.
1853  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Coinut.com - The only Bitcoin Options Exchange on: May 21, 2015, 08:51:38 PM
Question:

If I am long ~12 contracts (same contract), bought at various times and various prices, and then I execute a separate 'sell' order of that same contract, will one of my existing contracts be sold, or will I be left with +12 contracts and -1 contract tying up 13 contract's worth of margin?

In other words, in order to exit a position must I use the 'close' button in the 'open positions' window?

Thanks.

Alex,

User 'Indamuck' had a very small balance there. Please I donate it to your efforts to make all the players whole.
I relinquish all claims. Thanks for the service these couple years.
1855  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Every topic in this section is pure crap. on: May 21, 2015, 02:39:31 AM
Well, bitcoin itself is designed as this glorious ponzi scheme. So naturally the early adopters would lean toward launching, promoting, and participating in diversionary ponzi schemes as they wait for the btc scheme to build momentum.

But of course.

I'd be more apt to take the site seriously if the admins would actually read/respond to concerns. As it is, it's like they started the site and ditched it. Hard to give it ANY second thought at all when it's treated like this.

They are giving out free chips via faucet and poker freerolls, to anonymous players, no deposit required ... and you have 'concerns.'

This site is not for you buddy ...

1858  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPoker.gg - High Stakes. High Rewards - Secure Bitcoin Poker on: May 20, 2015, 06:37:29 AM
I hadn't heard about this site until now... looks like it's been up a little while so that's a good sign. A couple things aren't clear though:

1) What is a "chip?" Is it 1mBTC or?
2) What's the minimum deposit, withdrawal, and withdrawal fee (if any)?

1chip = 1mBTC
min withdrawal is 20 chips, no withdrawal fee.
*I think their website may state there is a withdrawal fee (?), but I've never been charged one after several withdrawals.
min deposit? Hell if I know ... lol.
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BitPoker.io - A New Poker Experience! - Levelled Faucet - LAUNCH GIVEAWAY ★ on: May 20, 2015, 05:36:01 AM
The 11:30pm EST Omaha Hi-Lo game had ~11 people signed up, but only three of us showed. I arrived late to find that 'Kevin' had felted another guy, and was in the process of blinding everybody else out. I battled him for about ~35 minutes to win the 10 chips. Only one place paid because only 3 people showed. Then I successfully cashed out my winnings, smooth as silk.

Please pop into this site each day, and sign up for the evening freerolls. You don't have to actually play ... I'll take care of that end ... lol.

Ummm, I don't get it. What is the value of an account anywhere? Accounts are free, no? Actually, I have too many accounts ... if I tell a joke, will you take some from me?

Ummm, do you have NYT or WSJ? Paid?
