1421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to have its biggest monthly gain since October 2021. on: August 30, 2022, 06:01:17 AM
This is really great news and you gave me the goose bumps and the chills from reading your prediction for bitcoins price.  Now we must wait and hope this is a reality and not just a wishful thinking scenario.

If it is true we will all be happy and rewarded for hodling our precious coins.

Some thriller classics I would suggest are The Departed with Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin, Ray Winstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, and Matt Damon- 2006
Fatal Attraction with Michael Douglas and Glenn Close- 1987
Basic Instinct with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone- 1992
Prisoners wit Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Paul Dano- 2013
Black Swan with Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, and Mila Kunis- 2010
Silence Of The Lambs with Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins- 1991
1425  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: August 26, 2022, 06:18:24 AM
When picking a vpn to use its important to remember that nothing is 100% secure even if they say so so be careful with visiting some websites.
I use different vpns and am connected to CyberGhost or Torguard most of the time when visiting any bitcoin-related sites.
1426  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: August 26, 2022, 06:11:00 AM
I absolutely think bitcoin's price will stabilize in time just be patient. Right now there are many factors contributing to BTC volatility. First, we are probably entering a recession due to massive government overspending and general mishandling of the pandemic.
Furthermore, the war in Ukraine has shaken the world economy up and it will take time for things to blow over. BTC price will be in a completely different place when the market conditions change. I just try and remain patient. I’m holding long anyway so I don’t even look at my wallet these days.

Just did a core straightening and I felt the exercise that made my abs and stomach sore.   The sense of feeling that I can keep continue to keep doing the core exercises more than 2 times a week  gives me a boost of confidence that I can work on my figure.

1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: August 25, 2022, 05:20:48 AM
Personally, I would not recommend leaving your coins on exchanges at the moment. With the recent turn of events with the market crash, I think there is too much risk locking up your crypto.

I'm fully aware of the rewards of tokens by staying in but I think there is just too much uncertainty in the global economy for that kind of move. Right now most of my portfolio is in BTC but perhaps I’m a rather conservative investor.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc not money on: August 23, 2022, 06:21:04 AM
I absolutely do consider Bitcoin money. I can easily convert my coins to fiat at any time and use it as a way to store value; the same as money. BTC is not physical money but it is a form of digital currency and functions much the same way.

Crypto is not yet exchangeable by central banks but I think that will change soon. I suspect more and more countries are going to follow El Salvador's lead and adopt BTC as legal tender.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: August 23, 2022, 06:12:42 AM
I get asked sometimes if I regret not selling my coins at the all time high and my answer is always the same. No, I do not regret it. You can’t have too many regrets in crypto since there are so many price swings and it’s impossible to know exactly where the bottom or top is.

How many successful swing traders do I know? Not many. My investment strategy is pretty consistent, I bet on winners that I truly believe in and I hold long. Eventually,  BTC will be worth 100k and that's what I focus on.

1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 18, 2022, 05:19:52 AM
There have been many missed opportunities but perhaps one of my biggest was when my friend recommended getting into Ethereum at $100. Now Ethereum is almost $2000.
At the time, I was heavily invested in Bitcoin and one of the benefits that I liked about BTC was the limited supply of coins.
Back in the day when I did my research on Ethereum, I was skeptical because I thought it would be easy to manipulate the price if the coins weren’t limited in supply.
Now, I’ve changed my tune and I do hold Ethereum in my portfolio but obviously I wish I had gotten in when my friend had given me the tip.
1436  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: August 18, 2022, 05:09:55 AM
I just caught Morbius (2022) and I really enjoyed it. I came in with such low expectations because the critics, online chatter and memes we’re so negative but I have to say it was such a pleasant surprise.
I thought Jared Leto did an amazing job and I enjoyed the action and story. If you’re a fan of Underworld, Resident evil or Blade, I highly recommend Morbius because it delivers all the thrills you can ask for in the genre. Maybe people were expecting a lighter Avengers story and were left feeling disappointed? Personally, I prefer a darker story so this was right up my ally.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: August 18, 2022, 04:56:46 AM
My most trusted Stable coin is Tether and USD coin. My portfolio is heavily weighed in BTC and I’m always looking to diversify. I consider these two to be the most trustworthy of them all.

My reasons for liking these tokens are they are some of the most traded in terms of daily volume and I see increased adoption for the foreseeable future. I think these two tokens offer the most upside potential for me but I’m holding long on both.
1438  Other / Off-topic / Re: Computer Monitor recommendations on: August 17, 2022, 06:30:29 AM
I can only afford an 100 dollar monitor now that the economy is so bad I want budget friendly.  I cant afford a nice curve one.

A 100 dollar monitor that can help me get my work done, doesn't need to be fancy and the screen size can be smaller then  bigger.  I will be using it for work and not to play computer games or anything like this.

1440  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: August 16, 2022, 06:06:47 AM
It would be hard to imagine if 50% of the world population were unemployed. I think it could be very bad to have so many out of work.

Currently, I suspect most of our governments social programs couldn’t support that level of people in need of assistance and I fear it could push us into a global economic depression.

The reality is I think UBI could fix a lot of these problems but we need to design a system to support so many in need.
