I suspect she has 'other ways' to obtain BTC rather than 'buy the dip'..just saying

Mt Gox giving out coins in the next few weeks? What gave you that idea?
Last I heard they were released in May 2019 from the settlement. https://bitcoinist.com/mt-gox-creditors-bitcoins-next-summer/well, says May/June 2019 for the above. Maybe more than a few weeks I guess...but still... Mt Gox giving out coins in the next few weeks? What gave you that idea?
yeah, Gox creditors aren't seeing shit till Q4...if then from what I understand the folk doing the liguidating are the ones wanting this wrapped up so they can get paid and move on....so who knows... but it has drag'd on now what 3 years? August would be better IMHO, we will see

It sure feels like we're gaining ground at settling over $5,000 for the longterm.
For me it feels like we are going to some big changes in the market either huge bump or dump on the upcoming days. The "up"coming days are critical. tmThey always are aren't they? Honestly I feel a small bump to 5,300 or a bit higher and a settle down to 5050 ish or low 5100 I think that it is too early for $5k to hold, even if we gt a pump into the $6,200 to $6,500 arena, I am still thinking that we get around a 30% or more correction.. and then at that point we se how long it takes to rebound. If we get a more wimpy pump, like you are suggesting, then our correction might be more whimpy too.. but I cannot foresee $5k holding under any realistic scenario in the short term. Of course, there are scenarios, like you suggest, in which $5k never gets breached again.. .but I am thinking that those kinds of scenarios are both less likely but also would become more realistic only if BTC could breach $6,500 and go at least to $7,140 or greater... which seems less likely but surely anything is possible in bitcoin... I just am averted from counting on in any kind of meaningful way (psychologically or financially) in the playing out of scenarios that are in the less likely arena. .... and, yes, "the next XXXXX time frame 'is critical' blah blah blah.." remains a common understanding way to to bring attention a point with a bit of flare & fun. I agree mainly due to mt. gox giving out btc in the next few weeks..however, that assumes that the persons that be 'dump' BTC...if not and they fell for FOMO...I could be wrong depends on just before the mt. gox hits what some major whales speculate on and dump first or not I guess BTC is now 5x what it was Jan 2017...so....suck it up I guess on the future brad

personally i think buying bitcoin is more safer than buying litecoin in the long run because everything good in the litecoin can be easily integrated in bitcoin good luck for all how are investing in litecoin
If you figure you have enough leveraged in BTC, LTC looks good to me for any extra in that I can't see it staying not in the ballpark (eventually) of say Bitcoin Cash (BCH). If that is the case then all crypto is 'smoke and mirrors' and I should eventually bail on all crypto to cash.

$4,883
I’m expecting a test of $4,200. Hopefully, it holds!
Ack! $4,200 ....hurts my eyes! The horror! Ack!

|
|
er...
jumping into the pool at $94.65 (when they were draining the pool) was probably not the right time to FOMO right into this
but hey, I'm in long term till, after the halving, I guess we will be the first to know huh?

Sorry guys, I doomed it.....did the old FOMO buy at $94.65 and of course killed the LTC rally dead in its tracks.
Actually, for reasons below figured it was time, (I always buy in on a long term HODL to high anyway...its a gift!)
I had NONE for LTC anymore, so went 'heck with it' and got a significant amount. So my theory goes if this was
the new ATH for LTC, and/or it goes down...not gonna sweat it much because all my other crypto endeavors would be
tulips at that point anyway.
But I mean really, LTC link in price with BTC price (maybe usually), mimblewimble and the halving happening in April (I think) 2020
I just think it has to beat $100 when you look at the sh*t coin prices of BCH and BCV.
We will see. I made my bet and let the wheel spin.

Good lord...almost time for gentleman posts...
"This is it, gentlemen unless it isn't in which case, this becomes a FOMO without a home, until you sell then it becomes "This is it, gentlemen, for someone else. (rinse/wash/repeat)

I saw another bunch for sale at $3.5k....not sure if these are worth mining at the present prices...comments?
It really just depends on what your view of the future looks like. Personally, I think things look positive. At 3.5K and hoping for a price pump at this point I'd probably just HODL coin...I'm just not that 'sunny' on this whole view...grrrrrr

When it truely happen I think thia is good because all we know that apple is an international company so they will not built any product to destroy their name and reputation. But I am really sure that it is very expensive because on it's brand name "apple". But we need to be realistic that mining is not a good source of earning coin.
Yes, this is unfortunately true of even 'April Fools Day' mining equipment in whatever fantasy senario...alas, mining is dead, unless like Bitmain is going to do this summer you contact the electric utilities due to the great rainy season and instead of the utils just wasting that electric you make a deal of 50/50 on what Bitmain can mine out of that overabundance of electricity...and it is a win/win (for them anyway) I suspect another 1/3 jump or more in difficulty...with only the China miners (for the summer anyway due to above) being able to mine... so yeah, April Fools on us ...long term...mining is dead....in fantasy and reality

Full article on how to build your own Apple ][ AI Crate for crypto-mining! https://juiced.gs/2019/04/juicybits-cryptocurrency/?fbclid=IwAR1DPNtTD0Zv8jAGFE8u1QM67UCofS2pPPgtdvEACNTtDFWreI7kJJW3V8YAPRIL 1, 2019 — LEOMINSTER, MA — Gamebits, renowned publisher of Juiced.GS and retailer of Apple II books and software, is introducing a new cryptocurrency for use exclusively in retrocomputing transactions. Juicybits™ will be a groundbreaking payment method powered by blockchain technology, adapted to run on 8-bit machines. Apple II users, known to hoard more vintage machines than they could ever possibly use, can finally set their collections to the task of recouping the investment in this expensive and otherwise purely nostalgic hobby. A tower of 16 networked Apple II computers The AppleCrate can mine as much as one Juicybit™ per month. As with any cryptocurrency, the more processing power available, the more Juicybits™ can be mined. As Juicybits™ can be produced only on Apple II hardware, Juiced.GS publisher Gamebits has partnered with Michael J. Mahon to sell AppleCrates to any parties interested in getting in on the ground floor. These towers of sixteen networked Apple II motherboards are expected to initially mine one Juicybit™ per month. An AppleCrate server farm is also currently being constructed at Rockhurst University, where KansasFest attendees can lease time on additional processors. Negotiations are ongoing to provide the school's Corcoran Hall with additional air-conditioning units. Individual users are welcome to participate in using their existing retrocomputing hardware via a broadband Internet connection. Consistent with the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency, blocks will be scattered across a number of telnet BBS message boards, waiting to be found and verified. Spectrum Internet Suite, the graphical web browser for which support was recently discontinued, will also be updated. When paired with the web-hosting software Silver Platter, Apple IIGS users will be able to deliver and engage in crypto jacking. Apple II users without an Uthernet card can elect for their next issue of Juiced.GS to be bundled with an encrypted block on a 5.25" floppy disk. When the block is verified, it can be mailed back to Gamebits to be added to the blockchain. Limited editions of Juiced.GS will also include printed blocks that can be typed into an Apple II to be verified. Juicybits™ logoWhether the blocks are delivered digitally or via physical media, Juicybits™' encryption and privacy are as strong as any other cryptocurrency, as the Apple II flies below the radar of most malevolent hackers. Mysterious cracker 4am has promised to set his sights on Juicybits™ as soon as the Internet Archive contains all Apple II floppies ever made — a threat ameliorated through the judicious application of Zeno's dichotomy paradox. Juicybits™ will prove an exciting financial opportunity for Apple II users. Other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum, can be exchanged for Juicybits™ on the free market. Due to the limited pool of Apple II computers available, Juicybits™ will have a high initial value, with an exchange rate of a dozen Juicybits™ per Bitcoin. Each Juicybit™ can then be used to extend a Juiced.GS subscription for one month. As Juicybits™ gain momentum, widespread market penetration is expected to occur by mid-2020. ReActiveMicro will not only be the second store to adopt Juicybits™, but will do so exclusively, abandoning other payment methods. Said an enthusiastic Henry Courbis, "If you thought our TransWarp processors were impressive, wait until you see our payment processors!" April Fools! Announcement:
Bitstreams have been released for Veriblock at 5Gh/s as well as updated versions of the Keccak bitstreams (Keccak 256, 0xToken, Zen Protocol).
With Veriblock expected to open at a price of $0.10 the current profitability of the Veriblock bitstream is $6/day. However the network hashrate is increasing rapidly and there won't be any exchanges operating for Veriblock until early April.
We have already updated all existing configurations that utilized the old keccak bitstreams over to the new releases. Your minerator instance will detect this and automatically start mining on the new version of the bitstream.
I saw another bunch for sale at $3.5k....not sure if these are worth mining at the present prices...comments?

The next 24 hours are critical.. that's for sure, and asking why is not part of "critical" assessments. For once that statement typed here is true! Can we stay above 4k or will we slip under it & go back to $3,8xx & start a run up to test resistance AGAIN..... well...I made my 'mental bet' in a previous post...I think the price (hope I'm dead wrong) that due to mt. gox dumping 1.25 billion or so USD worth of bitcoin...supposedly May 2019...the price will continue to go sideways (if lucky) from 3.9k to 4.1k as it has, till that shoe drops. Tossing it out there, so if an epic pump instead on these dark thoughts come to pass, at least everyone can give me crap about this... if I'm right, it will be like cousin's kissing..no one will ever talk about it.

You forgot we're in a winter since last year. Every people making too many predictions that bull run is coming and until now it is not yet happening. as an aside...in most places in the USA despite your elec rate per kWh....it will go up 1/3 for high demand summer rates.(or at least it is common in Midwest USA).. thus a 33% pop in price for LTC for most miners will simply be the same $$$ they made in the winter ....kinda sorta.....gonna get ugly if it keeps going sideways in price with that coming up around May 15th, 2019...in my area anyway. brad
