Hello, can I use wallet.dat from 2013? I see no transaction on new wallet. Peercoin was one of my first coins I bought.

Maybe it's just a syncing problem. But if it doesn't work, you could do the following:
- Backup the original old wallet.dat (just in case you didn't already)
- Download & install an old wallet (0.3 is from 2013)
- Export private keys (it's not necessary to sync) with dumpprivkey command for every address
- Create fresh wallet.dat for new wallet and then import the private keys there (importprivkey command)

PPC needs more PR, a fresh wind is absolutely necessary. The benefits to BTC and other crypto-currencies must necessarily be shared with the public. Hope the Peercoin team is working hard!

This is the first coin i invested in, and let me give you some insight on my experience

 took me about 5 hours to buy it (easier access more investors) i told about 20 of my friends its a great haul buy it and sit they all said the same thing took long to buy and while trying to buy they found other alts
 not many online wallets that support, i know that off line is the best way to go but for newbees its hard, i love this coin and i think with more exposure and more platforms to buy it on this is easily a $100 plus coin just listen to the name (Peer Coin) its awesome

I'm not saying that PPC doesn't have a future, but it certainly would help out with it's longevity.  I personally don't know what kind of life span PoS coins will have in the crypto space as it grows and evolves.

all business owners on this forum should start taking ppc payments, even if it is for promotional products, i have a coin payment wallet from coinpayments.net that allows me to take payments instantly from people so i am going to list we accept ppc on my door and give an incentive for paying with it, i am willing to do what ever i can to promote, maybe do @ cost diagnostic for small ppc payment, do i need permission to make a peercoin accepted here sticker?

Small businesses adopting it would really make this currency a serious contender. The problem with so many coins now is people are treating it as an investment, and will sell for fiat currency once the price is right. The currencies that will survive are the ones which are adopted by businesses. I would love to be able to spend some PPC in shops, using it for exactly what it was intended for , at that point it's not so much of an investment and more of a real currency.

well if there is no TM" on the peercoin logo i will get the sticker for my door .... because the payment through coinpayments is pretty quick i can see it as soon as it is done it pends on my account and you cannot reverse it so i will defiantly take it as a form of payment, if we could get some internet cafes to take it as payment for services i think that will bump even more, just the sign on doors will create a buzz and awareness from new crypto enthusiast
