I'm bullish PPC Smiley

I am too. Not sure what this means, but I compared the subreddits for ppcoin and namecoin and within the last 2 days, namecoin has gained 7 subscribers where ppcoin has gained 61. That's a huge gain in such a short amount of time. If this keeps up we'll pass namecoin in subscribers by the end of the week.

By the way, is this website legit? Does Sunny post there or is this thread the home of ppc discussion?

Its legit, Sentinel.  Its just that there was no traffic there a month ago nearly at all...its currently growing.  Many of us post to Reddit and here and there or some mixture of the three.  I think if ppcointalk.org was more active then its a better place than here (due to the nature of the forums here) for PPC.  Altcoins is a bit too crowded here, as many have noted.  Its really just a matter of making the migration.

Check out Amazon.com's design on their brand new "Amazon Coin".

The gold relief look is gorgeous. I think we should do the same thing with PPC.

It would blow all the other coins away.

I've got to say the amazon coin is amazing, that really shows what a true pro can achieve , I might have a play around to see I can capture a feel of it in sme way (tall order Smiley

Seems like your database is corrupted for some reason, possibly due to a crash of your computer or whatever.

First thing: Make a backup copy of your current wallet.dat file. Then attempt to just restart it.
If that doesn't help, try moving away all files from ppcoin's data directory (%APPDATA%\ppcoin or something like that) EXCEPT for wallet.dat and starting ppcoin again. That might take a while, as it will have to re-download the blockchain from the peer to peer network.
If it still crashes, your wallet is corrupted. Move it away, and restore an older backup copy of it (I hope you have one!). If the backup copy is somewhat recent (less than 100 addresses generated in the meantime), you shouldn't lose any funds.
If your wallet is corrupted and you don't have a backup, seek for professional assistance with wallet recovery. Depending on where exactly the damage is, your funds might be recoverable or not.

+1 on that. I checked out that page earlier today, and it was fairly irritating. Asking for a fee to list a service is also not a very clever move to get things started. At the very least make the first 100 listings free to provide some incentive to actually list something there. Barely anybody will pay you to list a service on a page that nobody knows about, looks fairly odd, and doesn't have any reputation/track record.

Is it possible to see what that looks like with the top and middle connected? I'm at work so I can't do it at the moment. Not only does this look awesome, it states peer to peer right on the coin to clear up any confusion.

Ok, I'm back home from work and I whipped that alteration up real quick. I'm glad we're not rushing this or we wouldn't have gotten to some of these later designs. They're amazing!

Here is the post I made over at ppcointalk.org. It has some critiques.

- I agree and disagree with some of the things Excelsior said. I think you should probably lose the date. Since we don't have physical coins that were created on a certain date, it doesn't really make sense to include it.

- I'm glad you spelled out peer to peer. I have the feeling that people get confused as to the meaning of pp and this would help clear up any confusion.

- It is pretty hard to read cryptocoin. Maybe you could darken it up a bit.

- I'd like to see the PP in the middle a more golden color as well. I'm not sure what it would look like though, so I'm just wondering. Also, I really believe we should drop the logo design that looks like IP. I think it's just going to confuse people. We don't need people going around saying they bought some IP coin.

- PPCOIN under the logo is much too large. I would think about making it smaller such as the gray text in this link (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/Sentinelrv/Other-Images/ppcoinweb8.png), except dark green like what you have currently. Maybe just minimize that logo.

- I very much disagree that we should remove the leaf design from the coin. The leaf is what conveys that the coin is eco-friendly. This is very important in separating ppcoin from the competition. I also disagree that we should make the coin completely golden for several reasons. First of all, cryptocoins aren't physical, so they're not completely made out of copper or other metals. This is the only reason physical coins are one color and the same rule need not apply to cyptocoins. The main reason though is that without the green, I most likely wouldn't be able to tell that it was a leaf. It would just look like some random background design. It also helps break up the coin and makes it stand out. So please, keep the leaf to maintain ppcoin's eco-friendliness and the green color.

Do you mean the way the light reflects off of the coin? I agree with that. I think it could be improved somehow, but I love the general design of the coin.

Put them on at least two flash drives of different brands. Flash media aren't exactly known for their reliability... Smiley
