Happy Birthday and Congratulations! I have a few thousand OK in my wallet, but it uses so much RAM while staking! Anyone else notice this? I'm scared to even run it 24/7 - don't want my PC to explode Cheers, keep up the good work! Hi there, that is normal if you stake in different addresses as each of them are fighting to answer the block and reward the coins, kind of the way mining goes, so with higher difficulty higher resources consumption to solve the blocks. Should not use more than 550-600mb for now with the high average stake of the full network. That is one of the reasons the full staking nodes gain the stake rewards, as they use more resources and are the ones providing the speed and security to the network. If you encrypt your wallet so it does not stake, your ram consumption should go back to 300mb average. If you merge all your addresses in your wallet into one, it will release some resources also as it would be only one address fighting to solve the blocks. Hope that helps, best regards. P.S: it's OK PC wont explode Welcome to your community.

OKtoshi, you might want to talk to StaisyBit about including OKcash on their supported coins list. Have a look at https://staisybit.com/ and at their thread on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091402.new#new. StaisyBit is a cloud staking service that can be used as an on-line wallet. It is free for accounts holding less than 0.4BTC in each (supported) coin equivalent, they have 2FA option and, in general, they look very serious and business oriented. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091402.msg13093607#msg13093607I just have had a quick look at their thread. It's definitely a currency which has true development, with at least 1 month of life, block explorer and 2 exchanges with API; in other words, it satisfies all our requirements. If you know their dev, please tell him to pm me here on BitcoinTalk, otherwise i will contact him directly. Thank you. I'd love to see OKcash having greater exposure and that might help. Thanks you for your hard work. Keep it up.

Thanks to bumaga we are already working in the Russian language, ru.okcash.co will be the next one to release. After that one cn, fr, af and others - if you dominate any of this feel free to support with the translations, official translators will get added to OP with a donation address shared with the community for tips and support.

You may want to remove your IP address out of there. Today I am facing wallet sync issues...opened it for the last couple of hours but it doesn't sync...Tried closing the wallet and opening it up with the same issue...

EDIT: NM you've already been double quoted Yep thats the block it seems to be froze on. We are resyncing the whole chain however even the syncing says only 521257 blocks in the transaction history, so i think maybe the chain is frozen. Either way hopefully it will be fixed by the time we resync the whole chain.

There were some indentation problems with the pos change and the chain got stuck in the block 521257 Already fixed it over github, compiling clients for mandatory update. v3.0.0.2 change list: - indentation (fix) - object (fix) - protocol upgrade (security) - new checkpoint for block 500000. (security) - POS change to 20% moved 10,000 blocks to block 531,257 (upgrade) Clients already compiling, should have them ready in the next minutes to share and start requesting the update to exchanges and services.

make copy of wallet.dat, delete everything else in the folder roaming/okcash except wallet.dat, download the bootstrap and stick it in folder to resync You must have an old v2 wallet, for the latest update you will have to resynch so the wallet gets updated, so please delete all the files except for wallet.dat at /appdata/roaming/okcash Then you can start the wallet and let it sync, or you can download the http://bit.ly/OKchain to speed the process. If you require further assistance feel free to join the IRC channels or leave another message. Best Regards. Updated already: - Bittrex exchange - http://explorer.okcash.co (CryptoID explorer) - Bleutrade exchange

And now my folder inside appdata is still empty apart from the wallet.dat and bootstrap file. In task manager there is no client running but in processes I have okcash.exe *32 running 3 times, and I have only clicked on it once since a restart. Maybe I should just try it on a different pc but any help will be appreciated.
