If they have no coins I am screwed... I got them from my DOGED wallet that wouldnt connect and put my coins from exchanges onto them.

Now I have DogeCoinDark coin in my wallet. Will become VERGE the replacement of DOGED? my simple thought when VERGE is there I install Verge-Qt wallet, copy my DOGED wallet.dat to the VERGE folder and then my DOGED coin will become VERGE coins? or is that too simple?

I think this has been solved in the past, they just add a new option, the old addresses stay in the blockchain and intact
