Nice quote from Max Keiser there. Remember guys half of the top 100 coins are non-mineable coins i.e. private blockchains with huge cons. If you want to make a safe decison always go with pure PoW blockchains. |

no, although we will have new tor nodes on our release (feb 15th) and the old onion nodes will go down that day.. Nice the VERGE release is a day after my B-Day  |

If any other DOGED/VERGE investors here have coins just sitting on the sell books consider pulling them for a while.
Let's allow this new brand to launch and see if this coin/dev can finally make the big move it should.
I have a price in mine where I'll start taking profits with this coin but it's no where near under 20 sats. The market cap on this coin is still way too low.

I think verge price only 100 - 500 satoshi , if verge have shopping place maybe the price will high , it's just my opinion |

$4 a coin is probably a little hopeful That would give VERGE a $44 BILLION DOLLAR MARKET CAP  9 x that of BITCOIN But i look at it this way. If DOGE got to an all time High of around 0.00000250 BTC With 100 BILLION + coins and SFA Features. And VERGE is around 1/9th of that supply at 11 BILLION coins , with a wealth of features My math tells me that 0.00000250 x 9 = 0.00002250 BTC , that would be a good 1st target. And When VERGE soars to 0.00265000 BTC (roughly USD$1.00) Well That Would just mean I'm 10 X Richer (as long as i didn't sell at 10 cents a coin) |

I agree, you have to look at it as how it compares to other coin's marketcap to come up with reasonable expectations. I took a similar approach in determining my expectations as an investor. I also compared to DOGE but I just want to look at where it stands right now. Obviously, DOGED/Verge is a much better coin so it's not hard to imagine it achieving at least the same marketcap as DOGE has now and that would put it in 5th behind LTC. Not a bad place to be. So let's assume we could match DOGE, as it stands right now, and get to 80,000 BTC cap. Let's also say this happens when supply reaches 10 billion. That puts the price at 0.00000800 BTC. I don't think this is unreasonable and I could pay off my house with Doged.  To be honest though, I'd probably start attempting shorts and taking profits long before it gets that high. I've got about 60 Million right now and I'm still buying everyday. Once it starts moving, I'm going to move some bigger amounts of BTC in to provide support. I hope others will do that same. Can't wait. |

On a more serious note, has anyone considered that the bitcoin reward halving might have an effect on this coin?
I mean, $XVG will most likely gain for a couple months, but what if a ton of investors pull out in May and start buying up Bitcoin?
It's something to watch out for. Alot of people will be dumping alts like crazy. On the off chance that $XVG just skyrockets overnight, it could work to our advantage, but in the more likely event that Verge grows at a steady pace, be sure to keep an eye on your portfolio.
On a more personal note, I actually discovered Bitcoin when it first came out and was going for $0.01-$1.00. I didnt understand it and thought it was stupid. I'm beginning to realize that that may have been the biggest mistake of my life.
