I'm experiencing about the same problem as you, but with a lot more of "socket recv error 10054" errors.

but at least I get 1 connection, wich i think is one of Spots' seednode.

another weird thing is that i'm unable to send any coins from my wallet.
error i get is : Error: The transaction was rejected! This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here. (code -4)

for example. i'm trying to send 2 bucks... i get that error.. then i do repairwallet and it says mismatch for 657 coins??

my balance even show double what i should have, even after doing a repairwallet. but when I close the wallet and restart, then the balance is back to normal, although I really don't like to close the wallet in fear of getting no connection
 Sad

Should not be sending any coins till all sync going by past wallets..    We need to God to help Please

Update:  Ok it took just over 2 hours to sync.   My connections was flashing from 0 to 1 during the whole time.  But now seems all good...   Give it time seems to be the key
Cheers

Yep, sorry to say that also but all other transactions after the 28th were too late as the snapshot was already taken.

Snapshots have been taken. I encourage all exchanges and services to immediately switch to GorillaBucks (BUCKS) 6.4.8.0 at https://www.github.com/iGotSpots/GorillBucks

What is going on with the Gorilla Exchange?

The XMG market has been disabled. Why? I tried to withdraw my coins as a result. Now that withdrawal is "pending admin approval".

I want my coins back now thank you very much.

Connections still seem low, finally bot bands back up. Would love more info on them though like when a host machine is reset and the client restarted, does one still need to "start" the band or does it kick in on it's own at some point ?

To be decided...
