So everyone is excited about $900 mark (me too) but for me it was expected and I have further expectations in the next year. I don’t want to discourage anyone but I believe we are still going to see volatility in the price of bitcoin and in that scenario the price might go down to $600 and even reach $1,200 and we are away from sustainable price growth (which I believe will start at the end of 2017 or start of 2018). There will be some golden opportunities for those who wish to enter in bitcoin.

I think it is impossible that the price will be back to 600 value we are many users right now who use bitcoin and many investors are now investing in bitcoin so i think it is impossible that the price will go back in that price maybe in 700 value we can say that the price will reduce back to 700 value..

What makes you think that the price will crash in the first month of the new year? Because i really can't see a reason for that to happen, the price is doing quite well right now and we are just a few days behind the new year and i don't think the price will start crashing just in 3 or 4 days.

It is not only Bitcoin that loves trading sideways

In fact, all traded assets behave in a similar way (stocks, gold, oil, whatever). This is how the market works in general and steals money from inexperienced or impatient traders specifically. The price moves sideways for some time, and people start believing that it will last forever. They pour more and more money trying to squeeze more profits from smaller price changes, and then market makers suddenly move the price in the direction where they can earn most profits, i.e. against the mob. The irony is that everyone knows about this trick, but the majority still can't cope with their emotions and are not able to just wait patiently till "the poop plops down"

In my humble opinion it's going to be a great year for Bitcoin. Historically 2012 was good, 2013 was great, 2014 was shit, probably the worst year, second half of 2015 and first half of 2016 were decent, it was obvious the confidence started to build up after the long decline of 2014 and of course the second half of 2016 was great, taking us back to the 2013 highs.
I predict 2017 will be good and we'll reach a new all time high. We'll probably crash after reaching it, but it's to be expected.

I also think that in 2017, the price of bitcoin will reach $1000, probably by the end of the year. but in the early year, I think the price will down about -$100 from the price on the last day of this year. so if someone wants to hold bitcoin, it is better to hold it until the end of 2017.

As I stated, I think, the price might touch $600 mark but to be honest nothing is impossible. Especially in the cases in which there is substantial volatility, you can’t deny the possibilities of anything. You might see some good signals at technical chart but on the next day, you can end up with the whole different picture so having faith in volatility, we should play a safe game and with accept the infinite probability without ignoring them.

My prediction about Bitcoin is when we hit new year then the price will become stable for a long time. It will take 4-6 months before it hits 1000$ per 1 Bitcoin unless whales will do something to make the price boost again.

Yes, you are right and this forum gives information about Bitcoin. But we should not forget that the government can have a negative impact on the development of Bitcoin.

They do have all the rights to do whatever they want with bitcoin, when they find it to be not benefiting them, they will simply not gonna support it and we will be having a hard time to see a continuous development of bitcoin.

I also believe that Bitcoin is very promising. In the future, it will grow and become more expensive. Bitcoin love people, because it is made for the people and to ensure that their lives are improved

I think in the next 5 years the price of bitcoins will rise more than 2500 dollars and there will be more popularity of bitcoins in the whole world .and there will be one such country who will totally run on bitcoins.

But I think that country will be the Japan because the Japan is the superior in terms of technology! So in the next 5 years if you holding a coin It will became triple I hope so, so it's better to invest now

But I guess 5 years is not even enough to make a country to fully adopt bitcoins and allow their state to use bitcoins for all of their transactions.

Fiat system is still needed even though that there is already bitcoin system that can help with every transactions that we made.

Still there are countries that will make it as a good way of investing and promoting their country because of it.

Full adoption I guess is hard to realize, the fact that major number of people has not idea about bitcoin they will surely not gonna think of learning it. A person will only adopt if he thinks he can benefit from using bitcoin and the people who are still under poverty, composes of a house population and they will never gonna understand bitcoin.

Yes it is hard to assume that there is going to be a full adoption as the total world's population is too big enough.

And compare to the total supply limit of bitcoin which is only 21 million which is going to make it's value even higher if there is going to be a full adoption.

Those people under the poverty level will not even understand what bitcoin really is.

The CEO of circle has announced that they will leave bitcoin like the other big companies who left bitcoin behind. I just hope that this will have no detrimental effect on the price of bitcoin.

I think the number of big companies that are accepting bitcoin is more that those who are leaving bitcon away, I think bitcoin need some more time to become more mature and one of the most popolar currency of the world and hope that then the world popular companies will take interest in bitcoin.

I'm not so sure. In switzerland a lot of companies are accepting bitcoin. For exemple the national railways just did so. Creating a new coin seems easy but isn't. Bitcoin is safer because the network is quite big and has a lot of hashing power, etc. A new coin also means it's easier to hack.
