Newzealand was cool and calculated in their run chase especially handled the spinners very well in the middle overs, India was overconfident, an outstanding partnership between Taylor and Latham took the game away from India.

I would say a disappointed performance by the Indians as they started off well by picking those 3 wickets quickly. but just could not continue that momentum which would have helped them to be the game till last over. On the other hand NZ played superb to register the 1st win. |

I would say a disappointed performance by the Indians as they started off well by picking those 3 wickets quickly. but just could not continue that momentum which would have helped them to be the game till last over. On the other hand NZ played superb to register the 1st win. This is what Indian team needed if you ask me . One team winning against all opponents without even being tested is not what cricket needs . I am happy for NZ and made good profits as I got 4 odds for them . |

Kohli's century was in vain as New Zealand aced their chase in a calculated manner. A total of over 330 is required on pitches like these to put pressure on the chasing team. Although New Zealand lost a couple of wicket early on, Latham and Taylor went about the chase in a matter-of-fact manner.

Latham and Taylor just played fabulously well. Good start by New Zealand Team, it seems we will get to see some tough competition then the previous tour of Australia. Latham and Taylor just played fabulously well. Good start by New Zealand Team, it seems we will get to see some tough competition then the previous tour of Australia. Mr. Kohli was the only batsman to show some good game, but rest all were below there capability. Wish to see good performance from both the team. Yeah it was a good match to watch as no one thought that NZ will chase the target looking at the pitch but there were some dropped catches and missed run outs that cost India the game and now India is under pressure as they need to win both the matches to grab the series. |

Taylor knows most of these Indian pitches very well and how to play because of IPL matches. But it was a good start for NZ team and it was a good lesson for the Indian team that they were thinking that they are a very strong team at home pitches. In the middle overs, India run rate was not so good and that's why they couldn't score more than 300 runs. NZ team deserves this win because they played much better than home team in both bowling and batting. |

That's a good effort to rewrite the history from the New Zealand team. Till date NZ haven't won an ODI played in India, now they have recorded their first winning making it their day. Indian team too played a good cricket, but I felt that they could have made a score above 300runs.

WI somehow recovered from the first innings failure now they are leading by 148 runs and still, nine wickets are remaining in second innings. Actually, in second inning they scored 88 runs just for one wicket loss. Compared to first innings batting this is much better and I think WI will win this match without much difficulty if they can add another 150 runs to the total.

Taylor and Latham were superb in their batting and due to this dedication Indians just could not find the way out to take their wickets. They batted magnificently and see though NZ win till the end. They are up in the series b 1-0 and it will be more exciting to watch 2nd match now. |

This was an unexpected loss for India, they were very confident after the series win against Australia and this loss will give them a good lesson to come back strongly in the next game.Hopefully next one would be more challenging to see. It is not an unexpected loss. NZ is not a weak team they are very strong but Indian players take them very easily, so they lost match yesterday. Yes it was a good lesson to Indian team they are in overconfidence. For me next math also NZ win means then we will see real cricket from Indian players. |
