I have searched various political sites such as the Real Clear Politics and Five Thirtyeight, and there is no mention about the poll from Clout Research, which found Trump leading Hitlery by 2 points in Oregon. Clout Research is a quite reliable pollster. Then why the mainstream media is trying to hide the results? Afraid of Trump squashing Hitlery?

LOL, notice the Democrat delegate count in their "primary race" is right on the front page for Fivethirtyeight.com. Just for grins TRY to find the Republican (Trump) delegate count on that website.

All of them are pro-Democrat. It is extremely difficult to find a political website, which is neutral and unbiased. I have tried RCP, Fivethirtyeight, and Politico. All of them contain a good amount of information, but the bias towards Hitlery irritates me. They were not this much one-sided during the 2012 POTUS elections (Obama vs Romney).

I think that is correct, at that time they had the lofty view from above of the political battlefield. With Trump, it's more like the barbarians are at the gates. Makes no difference to them that the barbarians at the gates are the people of the country. Leaving all morality and ethics aside, just looking at the power play, in Hillary they've fielded the absolute worst candidate in the 20-21st century. I think Trump's phrase for her "Crooked Hillary" is going to stick like superglue. Those who push political narratives are just now beginning to shape the Anti-Trump messages.

I've nothin to add to the Trump debate (debacle) - but can I just thank Wilikon for at least spicing this thread up with pretty pictures of sumptuous young women. No other threads can compete. Keeps me lookin anyhow. Reminds me of Rupert Murdochs page 3 of The Sun (the UK's favourite reactionary tabloid):- I'll bet they don't make 'em like this in Venezuela hey Wilikon

Little does he know, that the work hes asking for will be soon be "machines" not "mexicans". The reaction of the minimum wage increase in california to $15 has made more self automated "order your food here" do it yourself method.

The reaction of the minimum wage increase in california to $15 has made more self automated "order your food here" do it yourself method. Sounds a little conceited. I've worked with several Mexican software engineers at a company who had fairly rigorous hiring practices and who were at least on par skills wise. They both happened to look quite 'white', but two is a small sample size. Both were from Mexico City. Not sure where they got their graduate degrees (many people from all over the world do that here.) More importantly, their are countless small businesses run by Mexicans of more mixed ancestry. The work ethic of the people who are within our borders, however they got here, strikes me as vastly superior to what I see from a median cut of the lily white born-n-bred losers I run across. I have a much higher respect for a person or family getting by running a small business than someone who is a business exec in a corporation, but that's just me. I personally am quite happy to absorb as many of these people who wish to nationalize as possible, and especially if they have a fundamental understanding and agreement with so-called 'American values.' Everything about the guy in Wilikon's picture tells me that he is exactly the kind of person who would be of great value to our country.

One of the foreseeable disappointments of a Trump presidency is the sight of those foreigners no longer taking American jobs....because the jobs have instead been taken by American robots.

Maybe Trump is trying to get them out for their own protection. The robot thing isn't even an issue. If robots take over, prices will come down. If prices don't come down enough, the companies that use robots won't have any business. If everybody loses all the jobs to robots, no money to buy anything the robots produce. Companies go broke and collapse. We start over. Companies using or thinking about using robots have thought this thing out long ago. The car companies have been using robot-like machinery for years, right along side the human workers. The problem isn't robots. The problem is government... taxation and regulation. Trump can't stop it, and judging by the fact that he's a billionaire already, he's out to make $more$ in government. I mean, anybody who loves money never has money enough.

Instead the government prefers the gangsters of Los Zetas, Mexican Mafia and MS-13. Actually it is extremely difficult for a foreign software engineer to migrate to the United States. The authorities mostly profer the low-skilled ones, who can be a drain to the treasury.

I suspect that you are correct and in recent years there have been strategic operations to 'import' people who are NOT the 'best and brightest' and the reasons are political. I remain steadfast in my belief that a great many immigrants from Mexico are here and that they are 'better than average' as I define it. Again, my definition rests significantly on their work ethic an organizational capabilities which allow them to run successful small businesses. I'll will use the Hispanic turnout vote for trump to validate or invalidate my feelings about this. I am not at all surprised to see Hispanics voting for trump in part because of my view on what kind of people a certain fraction of them are. I will also say that one of the political motivations for this recent 'crisis' is classic divide-n-conquer. I'm not playing this game and when I see people pumping it I immediately am suspicious. No matter which side they are coming from.
