Obama's drone program nets one 'terrorist' for every 9 innocent civilians dead (as in door-nail dead vs. roughed up a little.) We 'know' this from various drone pilots who have quit in disgust and turned into whistle-blowers. Others are offered a record setting $125,000 as a retention bonus to keep on killing innocent people which provides a pretty good indication of how morally bankrupt the program is.
Ya, 'hypocritical' is an understatement. Ignorance and lack of intellectual curiosity is another factor. These are several of the reasons is why I've turned my back on the 'progressives.'
I don't agree in principle or in practice with 'going after family members' and I wish Trump would be more clear about exactly what he means. If he means investigating them as more likely to have involvement with 'crimes' and taking appropriate actions, I'm somewhat OK with that. Otherwise, 'what goes around comes around' and the policy could turn as ugly as it seems on it's face. My main problem is that I am increasingly convinced that the GWOT is about as scamy as the global warming fraud so the policy has no meaning. Generally speaking, I feel that it is worth the cost for the country to try to retain the moral high-ground even when it means adding detracting somewhat to 'security' since it is a trade-off which will pay significant long-term dividends. IMO.
edit: slight to correct an inversion
Yet sending covert ops to kidnap a killer in the middle of his home and ship him back to gitmo for him to get waterboarded is worse. The worse part is not killing indiscriminately 9 people for each 1 target, the thing that's disturbing is the total lack of coverage of this scandal. Not one day was going by without seeing some fools dressed in orange jump suit to fight W and gitmo. Where are they now? Dying in silence to protect 0bama. It is a big stupid TV show. If you have the link of the bonus that would be cool to keep a record here. Good point: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2014/nov/24/-sp-us-drone-strikes-kill-1147 Title: 41 men targeted but 1,147 people killed: US drone strikes – the facts on the ground http://www.stripes.com/news/air-force-offers-drone-pilots-125-000-retention-bonuses-1.384525https://theintercept.com/2015/11/19/former-drone-operators-say-they-were-horrified-by-cruelty-of-assassination-program/

Trump erupts as Cruz sweeps Colorado without voteshttp://www.wnd.com/2016/04/trump-erupts-as-cruz-sweeps-colorado-without-votes/Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump erupted on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning after a weekend that saw Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas sweep all of Colorado’s 34 delegates without any votes being cast by citizens in a traditional primary process.
“I’ve gotten millions … of more votes than [Sen. Ted] Cruz, and I’ve gotten hundreds of delegates more, and we keep fighting, fighting, fighting, and then you have a Colorado where they just get all of these delegates, and it’s not [even] a system,” Trump said, during the Fox News broadcast. “There was no voting. I didn’t go out there to make a speech or anything. There’s no voting.”
His comments came after Cruz won the remaining 13 delegates at the weekend’s convention, bringing his total for the state to 34, an outcome he described as unfair and just shy of illegal... "And I see it with Bernie too" -Donald J Trump (video)

That is a legitimate reason to complain if it went by popular vote the distribution would be fair. This reeks of unfairness it implies 100% of the populace wanted Cruz. Either way the Colarado primary should have been voted on. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016/04/11/furious-trump-claims-the-biggest-story-in-politics-just-unfolded-in-colorado-after-cruz-takes-all-of-states-34-delegates/

I have a feeling that this is not going to end well for the GOP. If the establishment goons indulge in dirty tactics such as this one to prevent Trump from winning the nomination, then we can expect an open rebellion from the Republican rank and file. And I don't understand the sudden love for Cruz among the establishment republicans. Until a few months ago, he was too "extreme" for them.

It´ll only help Trump. Sixpack Joe will see in this him being treated unfairly so he´ll gain sympathy. They´re rigging the game, what else is new. A little desperation maybe?

Check this link, and you will know why the establishment is getting so desperate: http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/can-you-get-trump-to-1237/According to the experts, Trump may win somewhere around 1,175 delegates, which is 62 short of the majority mark. He can reach the halfway mark, by approaching the unbounded delegates and those delegates won by Ben Carson.

And I don't understand the sudden love for Cruz among the establishment republicans. Until a few months ago, he was too "extreme" for them. That's the easiest thing that can be explained away. He is the pawn that can deny TRUMP from winning fairly. Cruz is smart enough to know that but he plays along. If he ever get close to the nomination, out of nowhere all that sex scandal no one cares about now, will be big news 24/7 this time around. "Oh my God! We did not know! We cannot have such pervert as our leader! We need a new guy! Quick! Paul ryan! Jump in!"He has no friends as senators. No one likes him for some reason. I don't think it is just because of the filibuster he did. He had only one endorsement and that's from his friend.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans seem totally desperate to somehow get Hillary in. The latter will probably destroy the party to achieve this crazy result.

That is the sad truth. The establishment wing of both the parties want Hitlery Clinton to win the elections later this year. Hitlery is very close to many of the GOP leaders, and there are a lot of shared interests (especially those regarding private defense corporations). On the other hand, if either Trump or Sanders becomes the POTUS, then the business interests of many of these leaders might be harmed in a significant way.

Let me say it again. It is easy to understand, but it isn't as easy to carry out. However, it can be carried out with persistence and group action. Here it is. The Preamble to the United States Constitution, from https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/preamble: We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Read it and tell me if it states anywhere that the people are placing themselves under the Constitution. Read it and tell me that the Constitution has purpose other than to be a benefit to the people. We, as individual people, have the right to require the courts and law enforcement to put down any person who steals our property. If they are government people, they are acting outside of their governmental office. If they steal our property in the form of taxes when we don't want to pay, they are acting outside of their governmental office. We have the right and duty to take these people to court, individually as people, for stealing our property, and especially if they steal it under color of law, using their governmental office to make it look right. We don't need government people to mess in our lives. It's time we got together and backed each other in court against government people who are doing us harm and damage by stealing our property. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twn96nj0jfw&list=PLHrkQxgz0mg6kUBciD-HIvTXByqjcIZ-D&index=10&nohtml5=False

From what I can determine (admittedly without a lot of rigorous study) is that while a significant majority of GOP people nation wide who actually show up to vote in the primaries vote for Trump, somehow Cruz 'won' this state by a margin of 43-to-0. I find tales of malfeasance of the GOP party bosses to be more credible than excuses to the contrary because it is crystal clear that a lot organized theft and fraud is happening somewhere over there.
