No replacing dollar still looks like a dream as we daily users face so many problems like high fees, slow confirmation time and many other problem like security of funds , requiring internet connection there are so many other important problems people face in the world and facing more problems just buy something can be really frustrating

Dollar is centralized while bitcoin is decentralized so it's not possible that the world will shift into a fully decentralized system. Accept the truth, bitcoin might become so popular but it cannot replace what a big country is building for many centuries, let's keep real people. |

In my opinion, As of now we can not tell if bitcoin can replace dollar because bitcoin can not use of an average persons who are not knowledgeable in comes to bitcoin, it will be hard for them to used it in their daily expenses. Dollar is the most practicable paper money in many countries. Even though bitcoin has many advantages compare to paper money but as I said dollar is the most useful money and if bitcoin replace dollar there are plenty of people will complain about it and we do not want to have a financial crisis because of it. |

I don't think that Bitcoin will ever be able to replace dollar as dollar is accepted everywhere in this world and it is regarded as a global currency but Bitcoin is not that popular. Moreover Bitcoin transactions charge very high fees which makes the use of Bitcoin impossible for small transactions.
Yeah bitcoin will not replace the dollar or any currency. Bitcoin is just an option and certainly every country will never replace their local currency with bitcoin. Where bitcoin is out of their control, of course it will be impossible to apply That is right, they will not replace their money for just using bitcoin because their currency is already there since then so bitcoin is only a new currency but it is not that centralized and it has only limited supply which makes the sustaining capability very low and that will become a problem for bitcoin so it is impossible to replace dollar. In near future it is not possible that bitcoin will overcome the dollar, because the dollar has great valuable currency as recognized by all countries of the world. Although dollar is ruling across the market currencies, but it may not be ignored that bitcoin is a digital currency and this era believe on the power of technology. Therefore, bitcoin may be consider a great threat in future for dollar to effect. |

These are problems yes but as I understand segwit that is coming on the network very soon is supposed to be able to fix many of these problems like the need to wait for confirmation times and high fees. The only real barrier I think is the security of funds, the average person does not know how to keep their funds safe and its a problem because it is irreversible. With cash at least you never keep a large portion in liquid cash but rather in a bank that does secure your funds. |

Bitcoin can not replace the dollar, because these are two different directions. Most likely they will exist complementing each other. It is more pertinent to wonder whether another bit of currency will replace bitcoin.
I am starting to believe now that bitcoin can replace dollar or any fiat/local currency has. It's very applicable because of the conspiracy theories that there will be one world government, new world order, one religion and there will be one currency. And on what's happening now we know that bitcoin is the one that can be used wherever you are. |

Though it will take a long time for us to see bitcoin replaced dollars as the world most acceptable currency! One day I know that will happen. Many people from all works of life has started to know about bitcoin and others cryptocurrency and the more people know it the high it acceptability because of it nature of decentralization, worldwide use and low fees including speed.

That is almost impossible, digital currency is slowly growing in popularity and so fast adoption is suspicious. If bitcoin replace dollar in next 15 years for me that would be a sign that NASA created bitcoin, only that would be logical. Bitcoin is the new payment method available for us, banks, governments. It is undeniable easier to use, and have other benefits over traditional currencies. Bitcoin also have potential to global currency, accepted everywhere, it is hard to describe how big influence can bitcoin have on economy and people life`s. |

For me, bitcoin will remain bitcoin and dollar will remain dollar. I don't think it is good to replace dollar into bitcoin, as of now, bitcoin is good as it is, bitcoin is not stable with the value it is unpredictable so, I don't think it is a good decision. |

At worst, they can coexist with dollar. Bitcoins have all the properties of currency and rather more striking than paper money. Being popular doesn't mean it will be a good currency that will be used by the world, you must also think what can these digital currency do in a country if that happens. I agree bitcoin having a great potential on being a world currency, but replacing dollars is way too far, 15 years is not enough, also even if bitcoin has a a good price in the future, it is still not enough. It has a great volatility that will affect a country's economy. Also, you can't expect that all people will be supporting or using bitcoin and many other digital currency. I don’t agree. Bitcoins have very bright future and soon will be made the world’s most used digital currency. In the developed countries where technology is at peak, the probability of cashless society is very much high. Bitcoins have tendency to replace dollar or at least minimize its usage. Like all other assets, BTC is also asset , at least to me. I am trying to live on BTC , obviously passively. I have real life job and I used to work as freelancer. BTC is making my life easy and comfortable. Now I can work for my customers and get paid in btc. Less hassle, less fee, less waiting. If people find it convenient to use btc, they will naturally adopt it and people who will adopts early will get more benefits. And in near future btc will be used like other fiat.
BTC can be used as fiat and can be deposited as gold. So BTC is already a winner for me

. You're looking at a long time there dude. I don't think that would be the case though. The dollar at this time is irreplaceable and not by a cryptocurrency. There may be a time when the dollar would crash but i don't think we'd see that in our time. |

That is certainly true, mate. Not even with all the strides that Bitcoin has been making over the course of the year, will make everyone from around the world to use it. With its instability in price, it's good for profiting and investing, but not ideal to serve its purpose as a serious currency, especially for a country which may limit its ability to prosper economically. Therefore, Bitcoin needs more time to mature and become a solid cryptocurrency with a large user base. Even then, it won't be able to replace fiat currencies such as the dollar, since the latter is backed by a government and used as legal tender. But, with all the trends that blockchain technology has experienced lately, you could expect to see digital fiat currencies issued by governments sometime in the future. Just my thoughts  |

Well, I don't think bitcoin could replace dollar. However, everythings might happen. First, there are many is needed for bitcoin in order to replace dollar. I believe that btc could only compete and surpass dollar but not to make it disappear because dollar is being part of our daily transaction. |
