Yup. There are factors that run the current fiat market that would greatly be affected if btc takes over. I don't think banks and governments would allow that to happen unless they have full control over btc, which is unlikely to happen.

But they can make so move to take over with bitcoins ,remember governments will always find their ways to make money even bitcoins is not in their hands like in my country the taxes will be increase but because it is for the own good of our country by using that taxes to improve infrastractures and so on.

The government will tax bitcoin in the future for sure because we can see that bitcoin is getting accepted in the different merchants or stores and the government will not allow that if they can't get any benefits from those stores that accept bitcoin and they can get benefit by taxing the profits in value of bitcoin that they got and that is one of the ways which the government can take place to get benefits.

Yeah. That may happen for sure in the future. As Bitcoin is pseudonymous, all of its transactions can be tracked via the use of block explorers. Even though addresses do not carry personally identifiable information, authorities can easily link the transactions towards your own identity. That way, via the use of specialized sofware, governments may be able to enforce taxes to their citizens and keep track of those which are evading them. While I do not support tax evasion, tracking every citizen may be quite troublesome for anyone who would like to preserve their privacy of their financial information. Despite everything, Bitcoin is still a good way to take control of your financial freedom, as it provides strong security and faster transactions than centralized payment processors. Only time will tell what lies for Bitcoin's future from replacing the dollar to becoming a mainstream currency. Just my thoughts.

Such a decision would not come from governments, by the simple fact that this would be giving up too much power. If people want to change society, people need to mobilize themselves

15 years is relatively small for Bitcoin to replace Dollar, but ut can happen probably in the next 25-30 years if Bitcoin continues to increase in value. So in my opinion, Yes, Bitcoin can replace dollar

I don't think "soon" but I do think after 15 years or so it is a definite possibility. "soon" i guess is a relative term.
Yes I think that this moment will come soon in future as bitcoins are going to be a major currency in all the world and it will take down dollar as well as other famous currency in the world

I think it will not happen anytime soon. Maybe 5 to 10 years to come. But if for now it is still impossible, the dollar is still too strong as the dominant currency and many people or almost everyone uses it as a benchmark.

That chance for bitcoin to take over the world is not high because a lot of governments hated for having a decentralization in their country so if they want to really do something against the cryptocurrencies then they can do it to just have a regulated currency and take a small control out of it.

From a price point of view, definitely bitcoin will be superior, but from global volume any bitcoin will never replace it let alone dollars and every real currency is the identity authority of a country. Thus, bitcoin still has to work hard on this, because it is not easy to incorporate decentralization into a world full of centralized systems.

I highly, highly doubt Bitcoin or any crypto will replace USD and fiat anytime soon, not even in 15 years. There simply isn't enough supply for BTC (only 21 million), people don't like decimals, and people are technologically advanced enough to understand it. BTC might be a good store of value but it certainly won't beat the spending capabilities of the dollar.

Bitcoin will not replace the dollar, nore any other fiat money. When you look at bitcoin, I suppose only a very small fraction of the society owns some. How could such a currency be a replacement for the dollar? And then you have to consider as well that bitcoin is on the way to become an asset. Moving away from being a currency. Replacing a currency with an asset, that's not possible in my eyes.

Well, Bitcoin don't need to replace dollar to dominate since they have different perspectives. You see, dollars is centralized and the law of Economics is applied to it. Whilst in Bitcoin it is decentralized, and if we would analyze it, dollars remains dominant in Fiats but Bitcoin is dominant in digital currencies.

It does not matter if the possibility of bitcoin taking over the whole economy is one in one trillion the point is that the possibility exists but the possibility of a government taking over all the cryptos is zero, this is why they do not like cryptocurrencies one bit.

I do not think so, but nothing is impossible, Bitcoin can replace the dollar in the next 15 years, but it will have a major impact on the world's finances, if bitcoin replaces the dollar could happen What if there is a crisis in other countries because their currency is very small, While bitcoin that in fact is greater than the dollar? Do they also have to change their currency with bitcoin?

Definitely, bitcoin will never replace dollar, event though bitcoin is getting popular there are still factor that will prevent it from replacing dollar. Government would be the first one to oppose it to replace their own currency and second would be banks.

Banks will not oppose bitcoin and it all depends only on the attitude of the government, I think banks are eager to accept the bitcoin system in their finance because bitcoin is able to provide large transaction volumes, bitcoin can not replace dollar because Fiat in each country is The main identity of their country after the flag of the country.
