What a joke. The dev allready said that if the ICO requirements are not met the ICO will be considered as failed.

Very true but sometimes devs change their minds, happened a few times.

So confirmation will be good.

the ico considered failed doesn't mean the project is over... with bittrex they have a contract that has to be followed (or else what is the point of having a contract in the first place) and that contract states that if the 800btc min is not reached the cfc (ico) will be considered failed and a buy wall will be set up for people to get their btc back.... since this is a contract that is in place it wouldn't be fair or right to change those terms while it is running (imagine you put in a lot of money into something like this and then someone said oh, we decided that the terms of the contract now state we get a 50% premine and also the cfc is not lasting 2 weeks its lasting 5 months)

its been stated many times here and many times in the r3d slack and many times on irc that they aren't abandoning the project if the cfc (ico) fails, and they will not just be releasing it, but rather finding other sources of funds in order to fuel the future development of the project, what that means to you or me if the cfc (ico) fails is up in the air (will we be able to buy r3d at some point? we don't know), what it means to r3d and its developers is that when they find the funding they deserve for this project the technology will likely be used for what it was meant to be at least in some form.

Correct. Until the CFC at Bittrex comes to a close (whether successfully or not) there are contractual terms that we must follow, and one of them being that this crowdfunding campaign is exclusive to Bittrex until the close of it. The CFC/ICO at Bittrex may turn out to be unsuccessful, and if that is the case then we move forward with securing funding in other ways. The R3D project will continue regardless. We've already come too far. We'll make details public about continued funding and distribution as soon as we can.

R3D will not launch right now if the 800 BTC minimum is not met. Those who bought R3D will get their BTC back via a buy wall at bittrex if the 800 is not met. New information for launch, funding, and distribution will be provided as soon as possible.

As you are all aware now our CFC at Bittrex has come to a close and was unfortunately unsuccessful. However, this does not mean that R3D has come to an end. If anything this gives us a much clearer picture about the state of crypto. The growing support for R3D has been phenomenal. We're working out details for other funding options along with release and distribution. As soon as things are properly organized and in place we'll be sure to update everyone.

We will continue to remain active on this thread as details emerge.

Those of you who bought R3D at bittrex, keep an eye out for a buy wall so that you can get your BTC back.

Again, for those struggling to read the details of our lengthy posts...R3D WILL STILL HAPPEN, JUST NOT TODAY.

While some of us like the ideas behind R3D, some have also bought in to R3D primarily as an investment. We invested on the understanding that our BTC would be returned if the CFC at Bittrex failed. If that isn't done, then I would call it fraud. The delay in putting up the buy back wall is making me start to be concerned. What's so difficult about doing it?

If people want to donate, that's their business. Don't force it on others.  Smiley

The delay in putting up the buy back wall is making me start to be concerned. What's so difficult about doing it?

this delay happens every bittrex ico/cfc, i am surprised you/more people arent aware of this fact, but yea it is something that they (again.. bittrex) should work on for sure.

as far as what is so difficult about doing it, i suggest you ask bittrex, because maybe they will have an answer for you, and maybe if enough people complain about these delays they will do something about them in the future

edit: i have 6.7btc tied up in r3d and am not in the least bit concerned that i won't be getting them back via the buy wall..

When will the buy wall happen?

that is up to bittrex, for whatever reason it isn't instant (why i have no clue), i suggest anyone who would like an actual answer contact bittrex via irc, support ticket, or twitter.. or a combination of those if you would like them to give you an answer, as i have said i have 6.7+ btc tied up in it and am not worried about it really, but then again some of us are more patient than others.
