Money really dislikes being in the hands of uninformed people... I don't know who I should feel sorry for; the scammer or the victim who is being scammed by the scammer or the 2nd victim who thinks he/she will get rich who is being scammed by the victim. Its all a transitive scam.

I'm guessing on a friends ordernumber, that it's about 42k orders now. This is based on an order made today, which got a number like 100042xxx and since this follows the Magento default, it's likely to be somewhere in the 42k orders now. Got response on an email I sent them as well, claiming that if I order now, I'll probably get my unit in August.

Surely they have a huge backorder, are the units supposedly already manufactured and in stock or have they still got to manufacture them? Seems like a stretch to ship out about 60k units within 2 months when they don't even seem to have enough units to start shipping out now. Either they don't have the units or they are delaying shipping pre-orders with stocked units, either way this adds to my suspicions lol.

If you are referring to prototypes, yes - look up the luke-jr ASIC miner. If you mean production, none yet, whilst they still accept pre-orders.

Would it be beneficial to mine on their own devices? Hell yes! More than just selling them.
Actually that line of thinking is not entirely correct. They are making tangible guaranteed money right now by selling them. However, I'd bet anything they are doing both. Mining a bit, and selling. Those who supplied the miners during the gold rush made the most money.

Actually, I'd bet it was those who taxed both the miners and the suppliers...
