Yes I do actually, with the block halving I think the price has potential to skyrocket specially if there is increased demand, You can never tell with bitcoin but that's how it should go IMO.

So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...
i wondering,is there was some people who just use bitcoin for payment?and they not hold bitcoin for price increase, but just buy or trade bitcoin at short time, and only use bitcoin for pay some goods?for me,i just hold bitcoin for price increase,of course. I also have seen many people who are not holding bitcoin for price rise. But the have the reason of making more profit out of their bitcoin trading than holding it for long-term. Many merchants and miners are not holding bitcoins as they have many maintenance charges to be paid on daily or monthly basis. But I am sure they are making enough profits from their business. If you are wealthy enough or having some extra savings then you can save it in bitcoin for long-term. Definitely you will be in profit with your bitcoin holdings. So far in history we can see amazing things on how much bitcoin investments has returned to it's holders.

I am holding my bitcoin for price increase for sure, But that doesn't mean that I will hold it for next 20 years without using it, If the price is higher then the price that I bought then I would sell it and make profit out of it.

I am not currently holding but would think the market goes down first,so would wait and then buy in. Maybe I miss the rollercoaster but catch the next wave.

Don't wait for a market go-down, better buy now then never, because if once the price started going up then it won't come down so soon and you will miss the chance. (just suggestion)

Yes i am holding some amount of bitcoins for a price hike, so that i could sell it if it's price goes much higher.
That's a good tactic because the price will rise indeed. It will will rise soon or later to a high amount. I think it will take some time, but you have to be patient.

Yeah having patience can earn you good profits in long run, price will go high in future for sure, and all of us are holding our bitcoins for price increase so that we can earn some profits, price would be much higher in next 3 months.

People who have bought their bitcoins at higher price, they don't have any other option they need to hold their bitcoins unless it crosses the initial value at which they bought, and others are holding for price increase so that they make more profits.

That's true, just imagine the people who bought around $1k, they would be surely disappointed at a moment, many of them might even sold all their bitcoins at lower prices and would have quit, but late investors would surely hold their bitcoins.

Yeah, everyone of us is holding bitcoins at a moment and expecting that price will rise in coming months, but if the price doesn't' climb up then many of us would stop believing in bitcoins for sure.

No, it's just a metter of don't use government money... I mean, Bitcoin is OUR money... even if it is in large scale in someone else's hand or country, the whole spectrum is free, and the meaning of Bitcoin is freedom, like any P2P project. So, if the price stills where it is, to me at least, it's cool, I like the whole system, possibilities and the style of it... but I won't sell it anyway, it could get a higher price, and I'll eat lot of popcorn watching that. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Well reading trader's anaylsis and some shit speculations can help you with this. That is not really the point here because not knowing what the price will be is really a COMMON one. Common sense if all knows what will happen to the price then anyone makes profits and I see no exchanges will be created.

I think many guys here of are in for profit. That's totally ok so far. As speculation is one of the network effects bitcoin is having. But I also believe that many people here are to finally have the possibility to use money outside of the control of our governments and financial institutions.

It's stated here aside from profit taking when there is a big rally scenario. Yes spending with your hold bitcoin can really give you a shot of ousting government terms out of your spending especially the tax. But if they hold bitcoins then do spending by converting it to fiat they are not safe with the tax as srp of the products already includes the tax.

Just an addition. Just be sure that you are on a site that have good prices when you buy back or else it is like no profit at all. Something like that happen to me. Timing is also an issue.
