What I was wondering is if it's already possible to get the odds for the first coach to be sacked from somewhere?!

I didn't see any odds yet. Wagner is a good candidate though, but I am missing Kohfeldt on your list. He is maybe at highest risk to get sacked, because if Werder starts bad, they will not hesitate to get rid of him imo. They don't want another season like the last one.

You can do your own odds (for these three you mentioned) and we can compare then once some odds are available and maybe find some value Wink

Discussions about the return of spectators continue.

What is maybe more interesting (for me): Who will get tickets ? I think the authorities and DFL would be more happy, to give the tickets to sponsors, officials, families etc. and not to the hardcore fans, because they are more likely to not follow any Corona rules. But can you imagine what happens, if Schickeria doesn't get any tickets for Bayern games ? There will be a civil war Grin

And the clubs would surely want their hardcore fans in the stadium to not have an atmosphere like you have in a lot of english stadiums. But they are dangerous for this whole concept Wink

Yeah, though about Kohfeld aswell and I would probably put him next on my list. But after Werder seemed to be okay relegating with him to the second league and restarting there with Kohfeld, I think Baumann/Bode won't start to panic when the new season doesn't start as planned.

If that's the case however, and Bremen finds itself on the wrong end of the table all the time during the first half of the season, I see them making more changes than just the coach. Baumann and his transfers are already not without controversy (for example the 11 million they had to spend on Toprak and Bittencourt). His Transfers for this season have to be on point. Not an easy task when Werder has the same problems as Schalke and has not much money to work with.

There is only one way for me to solve tickets problem. You designate 10% to sponsors, another 10% to players, then you give 20% to the hardcore fans supporting the club and put the remaining 60% into free market. This 60% will probably need to be drawn in some way because there will be much more interest than available tickets, something like world cup games for instance.

You can play around with percentages a bit but you have to allocate a fixed amount of tickets for groups mentioned above and put the majority of tickets on free market.

@Trofo you’re underestimating the passion of Bundesliga's fans, and hence when you say that the officials can only give away 20% tickets to the hardcore fans do you really think that the rest of them will quietly accept this decision, hell no they'll come on the streets and demand that tickets be issued to them too. Lastly in my personal opinion the only way they can solve this problem is by allowing the fans to attend the matches virtually, because this is the only way to satisfy all the fans.

World cup games? We are talking about the little shiny German Bundesliga.... Cheesy

That would be a solution. But another point is, where would all the people sit? If I want to go with my family (10 people) I would be more sure, we will sitting together. But if I want to go with my buddies (20 people) how can I be sure, we will sitting close to each other with distance between the seats?

Maybe, but I came form Croatia and we know some things about fan problems Smiley

Those hardcore fans can also apply for the remaining 60% of the tickets, there is just no guarantee they will get them and they have their own 20% to distribute among senior members. Of course every club can tweak the percentages to their preferences. I am sure Leipzig doesn't have a same number of hardcore fans like Dortmund.

Nowadays the Hardcore Fans more friendly as they was back in the days , for sure the big Clubs have a bigger fanbase as others !
But dont know if there will be a limited number of tickets that a person can get !
They will come with something around i guess and for sure the VIPs possible get the first tickets.

Nowadays the Hardcore Fans more friendly as they was back in the days , (...)

Disagree Smiley In lets say the 80's and 90's hooligan culture was more popular and visible in the stadiums, but starting in the late 90's more and more Ultra groups popped up and they are more influential than anything you have seen before. They might be more friendly and open for discourse, but they have quite some power over and in their clubs - not talking about Sandhausen or Heidenheim here, but Schalke, Frankfurt, Munich, Dortmund, Dresden, Rostock etc. If you as a club do something they are not ok with, you will have war, because they are very well organized with even fascist tendencies imo.

These are the rules from Dresden Ultra group "K-Block":

  • You have to follow the instructions from the leaders of the group.
  • If you are not willing to support the team, you are not allowed to stay.
  • You are not welcome, if drunk.
  • Some banners have higher priorities than others, hand-made has more value than printed, so you can't put your banner anywhere.
  • You are not allowed to damage any materials for choreographies, not even some pieces of paper or some balloons.
  • Filming or taking pics is a sin.
Source: https://www.ultras-dynamo.de/k-block/

I don't think you are doing yourself a favour as a club, if you exclude even parts of these groups. But it will happen and I am curious, if they show solidarity and won't show up at all, like "either all of us or none of us" Wink

^ That is true for all nations, since these groups are big in numbers and they are not creating any problems they are very very valuable for the team, they could just influence each other and if the team does something the fans do not want to, the fans could just boycott the games for even half a season and would be changes to get them back, we are talking about millions of dollars of income for the teams when you combine the whole fan groups, so at the end of the day they may not be brutal anymore or anything but they are still quite influential and can even change the president if they want to, usually there are elections in teams and the president could definitely change with the voting out if he doesn't keep the fans happy, and success isn't enough, you have to really give them something to like you.

So what do you think would be the right age for a coach?
I say young because Kazuyoshi Miura, 52, is still defending the promotion club J1 League Yokohama FC. Gianluigi Buffon, 42, is still a Juventus goalkeeper. Some other players who still play until the age of 40 are Giggs, rivaldo, Totti but at the moment they don't play football professionals anymore. To say precisely, I don't know because if we understand, we can be a coach anytime, anywhere, but as profesional coach, we must have special requirements like a coaching license.

Glad to hear that he might come back. I like him, even if he has already left us twice Cheesy

Already confirmed is that Bargfrede & Langenkamp will leave the team and wont be a part of Werder in the future. Werder is still in negotiations with Fin Bartels..

^^ Werder needs to build a strong and solid team in order to have better luck than this season.
Kruse is a good signing and he knows the team and the organisation from his past experience.
If they sign Bartels they are going to build a solid team based on those two players.

Thank you for the player transfer updates in the Bundesliga, because the media are now too focused on transfers in the premier league.
So often I miss the Bundesliga transfer news, Steve Zuber is an experienced winger who is needed by Eintracht Frankfurt.Zuber's joining
will help Eintracht Frankfurt's midfield expand their striker's pass. And Mijat Gacinovic indeed Hoffenheim needed to strengthen their attack,
we are now Gacinovic attacking midfielder who are very good at attacking. The exchange of these two players benefits for both teams.

This will not happen. That would have been too nice..  Sad
Max Kruse canceled his move to Werder today. He informed Baumann, the manager of the club, that he decided to move to another club.

However, he is looking for a club in the Bundesliga and there were other clubs in discussion like Schalke 04 and Eintracht Frankfurt.
