For all the soccer fans everyone was hoping for a final between these two teams because they are apparently the strongest teams that are left over in the DFB Pokal, but for Leverkusen facing Stuttgart at home is much better than facing them in the final in Berlin on neutral grounds. That's a huge chance now for them to eliminate Stuttgart and then they are the only ones who can stop themselves. All those clubs that are left over are not 1. Bundesliga except for Gladbach.

There is no guarantee that Bayer Leverkusen to win one of the competitions. But they surely have a high chance to win the competitions because they can play consistently so far. If they can maintain their good performance until the end of the season, they probably have the chance to win Bundesliga title and Europa League. For DFP Pokal, sometimes this smaller competition gave surprises. It is not easy for a big team to win the competition, small teams can be very difficult to defeat. At least surprises shouldn't be ruled out at all because Saarbucken, a club from the 3. Bundesliga in Germany and ranked on 7th position there, has beaten Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB Cup. I think that says it all regarding potential surprises. Of course I wouldn't bet a dime on Saarbrucken in a final against Leverkusen, but I can only regret I didn't bet anything on them in those two games obviously

I believe that when there is a big goliath level team like Bayern and a team that is david like leverkusen, that fight is a lot more fun to watch. In football world goliath usually wins, it's rare that we would see the smaller team wins but when that happens it's super fun. I am not German, I am not from anywhere near these two clubs and not fan of either of them.

However, if Leverkusen wins the title this season then I would be a lot more happier than Bayern to be fair, because it means that we have seen someone take down a giant and that's always a fun thing to watch, it is always something that I would end up having fun with. This is why I believe that we are going to end up with something that should be a bit more fun in the end.

Before Xabi Alonso Bayer Leverkusen were struggling into relegation zone and as he takes control in last season we have them into top ranks which is surely one of the best from this coach, and now they are undefeated in this season in both big leagues like Bundesliga and Europa League which is extraordinary just because of these results and performance now his name is already in best coaches of the new generation as he is doing work things can take good change for him as well.

His leadership is impressive and doing work with players is also amazing which is giving them 100% results, and now it's good time for the Bayer Leverkusen to keep him for few years which can bring best changes for them, and they can stay like tough challenge in this league.

About Union Berlin this has been discuss before that last season Union Berlin only lose 8 times from 34 matches and they got 18 wins which make Union Berlin deserved to occupy 4th place and they have 3 difference points above to Freiburg which is the team from 5th place and actually they are very active to buy the players last summer because Union Berlin owner has realized this season besides playing in Bundesliga Union Berlin also will playing at Champion league and the owner want Union Berlin to performing well in all competitions

Union Berlin better win that match. Cologne is one of the worst clubs, and by the following year, it will be moved down to the second Bundesliga. Union Berlin played hard last season to earn a spot in the Champions League but is now battling to not exit the fifteenth position.

The Champions League is the ultimate competition for the clubs in football, so I did not look forward to Union Berlin winning matches with Napoli, and Real Madrid. But it is truly miserable that the club cannot contend anymore in the Bundesliga. There is a probability for the club to return to the second Bundesliga if it cannot get its pieces back together and play harder.

This is not surprising and Union Berlin is not a top team that you’ll be looking up to for consistence performance throughout the season. They did well last season and are struggling this season, what could have been the problem if not lack of good management as usual. Couple with that, a lot of teams would have come prepared for them more this season and wouldn’t want them to give them opportunity to outshine them again. Poor Union Berlin, they couldn’t keep up the good performance they started with.

I fully support your opinion about Leverkusen, it would be fine if they broke Bayern Munich dominance and it would be more interesting in the bundesliga, it's not boring to see every season Bayern Munich always dominates the bundesliga, but I slightly disagree with your opinion about Harry Kane superstitious curse because of the fact that he still scored in large numbers and is also just below Leverkusen, only 4 points different and if the match against Union Berlin is not postponed I am sure it will only have a 1 point difference.

and if we talk about trophies I'm sure we all know Bayern Munich current goal is to get the title in the UCL and that is Kane and his team's current target to prove to the whole world that the curse or whatever is just a myth.

But it just came to my mind that we are talking about Bayer Leverkusen all the time and how that team was transformed into such a beast thanks to Xabi Alonso. But I wasn't expecting Stuttgart to play like this ever. I would have never thought they would be such a serious contender for the top four. That's right, it is a great season for Guirassy and this is the best chance for him to go to big teams. He may want to take this chance and embark on a Premier league adventure, or he may go to another team in Europe. In my opinion, the important thing is whether this year's performance will be continuous or not. If this performance is not consistent, it may be a disappointing transfer next year.

I think his performance is quite irrelevant because he is a bargain for any club that wants to sign him. This is what onefootball.com wrote recently:

I have never done a search for release clauses before, but now that I read this I was confused. "at €20m..." must feel so bad for Stuttgart. Of course he will be gone next summer. That's peanuts. When Randal Kolo Muani was sold to PSG I think it was around €100m. Without the release clause Stuttgart could have made €60m - €70m I think.

As far as I know Guirassy's release clause right now is 17.5 million euros which means he is like a free transfer for rich teams.    I didn't know first that he had a release clause on his contract. Therefore I thought Stuttgart would demand a lot more money than his current market value. But the situation is really different than that.

Stuttgart have nothing to do about this situation either. They can only try to extend his contract but I wouldn't expect Guirassy to be okay with that at all. Because he must also be aware that there would be some top teams going after him in January.

Kane might be even more productive. but clearly, I just don't expect last season's situation to happen again. when Munich won the trophy with a goal difference victory over Dortmund who had dominated from the start.
The situation might happen again when Munich manages to continue to maintain the point difference with Leverkusen. but we will see how Leverkusen's consistency will continue or whether they will encounter problems next year.
We still can't map out the strengths, but only these two teams may compete for the trophy this season.

I think Munich's chances of winning the Bundesliga are still very big. They have Harry Kane who now leads the list of top scorers. I think clubs that have world-class strikers have an advantage in the competition in the League because they have someone who can score goals in difficult times. Honestly, I hope Leverkusen will win because I want to see a different champion from the Bundesliga.
