They don't have to score thousands of goals to win but need the points.

If Bayern Leverkusen finishes with the highest point amongst all teams in the league and Bayern Munich finishes with the highest number of goals but are still behind Leverkusen in point, definitely Leverkusen will be declared winners because they have got the highest point meanwhile Bayern Munich will only be recognized for their goals so I still think currently Leverkusen still have better chance until they drop points so much so that they no longer are able to lead with points but in a situation whereby both team finishes with same points, that's when the goals difference will favour Bayern Munich, I think it will be better if Leverkusen is able to get more goals and be ahead in every aspect.

getting more goals should not be Leverkusen aim but just to get the entire 3 point and that's enough remember Spain won the 2010 World Cup with just 8 goals all they need is to defend well, take the lead and win each match that is consistency trashing team 8 goals and ten losing or drawing other suppose winning matches is not needed. Leverkusen's performance this season under the coaching of Xabi Alonso is very impressive.
With a composition of players who are not in the star category but can confirm a record of 25 matches without losing. And makes the Bundesliga competition even more exciting.

I agree with you because bayern Leverkusen has put up a very outstanding performance this season well enough to be recognized for their performance so far, it's True Bayern Munich has been able to maintain some kind of dominance long enough over the years but then it's not enough reason to keep blind eyes to others who are coming up to change the trend as it definitely wouldn't be like that for ever.

I can't put hundred percent trust in em during domestic league games no more because you'll end up being disappointed.

Excited with how Xabi Alonso and the lads ave come this far. Finishing the first half at the top is such a great thing. What I be hoping is that they would back the manager for one or two players because they'll be seeing themselves play more games in this second half anf the pressure that comes with it could lead to player's getting Injured. I don't want em to miss out on this. They should win if they continue this exact way.

It's mind boggling how inconsistent Borussia Dortmund has become this year. Last year was terrible already and they crowned the whole mess when they threw away the title in the last moments of the season like in the most amateurish way I have seen. Hard to believe it was to see that some of the players wasting the title are earning double digit million figures on a yearly basis. I wish that there would be severe punishments to their salary if they don't deliver. After all, sports should be driven way more by performance based clauses. If a player knows that the 10 million will come no matter how he plays, I feel that something must be wrong when we are talking sports and how it makes people rich for playing soccer.

Bayern Munich are not actually 4 points behind they are essentially 1 point behind because they have played 1 match less than Leverkusen. But they got themselves a win and this is what matters for Leverkusen now. Leverkusen with this victory are now 26 games undefeated and the only undefeated in Europe's top leagues.

But only 16 matches have been played, and it is too early to say by just seeing Leverkusen winning match, they are going to be the Champions of Bundesliga. So I am going to disagree with @boltz . There are still 18 more matches left,  and If I had to say which game would decide the champions of Bundesliga, I would say that would be the match between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen in February of 2024.

Technically it remains 4 points and cannot be said to be 1 point even though they still have 1 match left to play because after all we cannot make it a reference to 3 points because the possibility is that they cannot get full points in the matches they have not played even though their probability is great.

But for the problem of Leverkusen's victory this season I don't think it can be used as a belief now because after all I agree that the matches in this season are still very long and to say the champion of course there are still many steep roads that Leverkusen must pass.
We know last season alone before the last match there were a lot of hopes with Dortmund because they only had to complete 3 points in the last match but it ended in failure especially now with the situation that the season is still very long so it would be silly to immediately say with confidence that Leverkusen won this season.

Leverkusen has in my opinion a vital 4 points ahead Bayern and this points might make the difference and decide the champions of Bundesliga this season. I also feel like Leverkusen is playing the best football in Bundesliga and without Xavi Alonso none of this would have been possible.

For Bayern , I think it's way more important to win UCL than Bundesliga as they have been winning it for so many consecutive years so that's why I don't expect them to actually push harder in Bundesliga games vs UCL games.  

Leverkusen are 4 points ahead but it is due to Bayern Munich's having a missing game to play as well. But still I can't overlook what Leverkusen have done so far of course. They totally deserve the lead more than Bayern Munich thanks to their high effort until this point. Xabi Alonso is at the top of his work now for sure.

They even got one point at Allianz Arena I mean. This must also be a very good sign of how much they are determined to go for the league title. I hope to see them maintaining this amazing form. It really doesn't look like they will lose a single game anytime soon for now.
